    11th Corps

ps you misspelled something?? hmfff, you don't expect ME to notice do you?? lol the queen of misspelling here, so never apologize for misspelling or typos, those of us who power read/type/etc never notice such things. Marshall was from MS cause he got involved while I was a wow in Jackson,(75) he had the funniest stories EVER!! I didn't even know he was 11th corpse but a great match for him! hell I didn't know Vicki was till we re-hooked up here in GS (I knew her also from WA state from the 70's) what a guy. anyway Dillard I don't know about, I know other things about Dillard but not of his present condition..... Erik lives in Charolette NC, so does Amy, not sure of their marital status, Bob Sull is in CA, home for him, supports a local exwayfer church thingy. Gail was a hoot, we would get her to sing sometimes, she had a great voice. We all loved her, wonder where she landed. Her daughter LaToysa was Frank Schiff's kid. Gail was my room mate our last session in rez. once Chris G came to my room after a late night of "teaching" in the chapel. I offered him coffee, we layed on the bed to talk, I mean where else was there to talk,,,,,, we BOTH FELL ASLEEP, Gail came in and did the throat huh humm....... we woke, coffee cold, embarassed, but mostly just, oh well we fell asleep, kind of thing. funny, my husband knew Chris well also, we laugh about me and Chris, "sleeping together" often. I also remember much of the laughter. Chris Newcomb (f7)did the best skits at IC, he was so talented and wonderful. His skits were the best and always a laugh riot. Joe Phillips(f7) was nice and wonderful too, I loved him and his family. Alan Jewett (f7) was a doll, his wife reciently died, although she was remarried to someone else but I love/loved Alan. Hal Smith was my best bud in rez. He was f7 and his wife was 4th corpse grad stuff, Has was always a friend, bud, doll, loved him so much. Slept many a time next to him in class many a night, my husband also speaks of Hal, the other guy I slept with.... Once I was sunbathing in the area in front of the campus, a closed treed area, out by the motes. I woke (in my bikini, minding my own business, sunbathing in little or nothing :D-->)doing my best to hide my body behind the closed treed area.....I awoke just knowing something was wrong.... HAL was ooogoling my foot!!! I turned over and asked what the hell he was doing??? He said, "just looking"..... funny guy he was, I would go to his room and his wife would say, "your girlfriend is here". we were the rebels of f7, I say we, but I was and there was a few who joined in the rebellion, maybe thats why the corpse life didn't adversley affect me so much. I should tell the story of the swimming pool, but I have told it before....to bad I don't have private messaging or I could relay it to you. (sorry I don't have the "privledge" here on gs...but I am a bad bad girl....) I wish I remembered you ps.... but alas, I don't and there are many I don't remember anymore...something to do w/age and time. suz
  3. posted this in the 11th corpse thread, but thought I would post it here for those of you who don't read THAT forum: Posted Feb 10, 5:48 PM We never needed the plurality plate at IC. Once when our dinner was baked potatoes and salad, well for some reason there were lots of extra potatoes on everyone's table. We all decided to take our extra to Alan Jewett.(f7-funny guy) he said, "thank you" to each and every person and each and every table brought them to him. God it was funny during clean up when he had these platters FULL of baked potatoes. Also once the kitchen made some lousy lemon desert, it was so bad nobody ate it. (we called it lemon rubber). In the kitchen that night, me and wilma willman (married charlie parsons) took the left over desert to a lot of our corpse familys room, knocked and said, "room service" left the crap at the door and ran off. We laughed our butts off of course, but not sure they saw the humor, It was almost as funny as the time we short sheeted several of their beds!! we were baaaaaad, baaaaaad girls!! geeze that is only some of my funny stories. f7 was as wacky and crazy as 11th!! a great mix of fun! suzie

Marshall Cheek from MISSISSIPPI?? if its the same one, God he was a funny guy, used to be an undertaker???? same one?? Dillard is still in OH I believe. He was at IC for quite a while, tell him I said hi if you talk to him some of my favorites (llth corpse) Erik Jenson (drummer) Kris Weeks, David Hanson, Chris Gremlec (sadly still in) Bob Sull, Charlie Parsons (he married my corpse sister Wilma f7) all guys??? hmmm, well I know where all but Chris are in case any of you want to know. All great guys. welcome Patty, I forgot about the chicken slaughter house, I only had to do it once in rez. kinda stinky in there.... freaked out Gail-(black lady f7)she avoided it till the bitter end of in rez. anyway fun to laugh about some of these things, hey btw PS, ya should have written that book! Funny ideas! suz
  5. So many things we were forced to believe. I think knowing we were in the same Prison might be why we all migrate here. sure glad I escaped! suz :D-->
  6. I dated a college div guy on my interm year, but thank God that didn't work out. (actually I talked him into going into CD my last year in rez and he did). anyway I remember once D Moy***an asking me if I was going to re-marry someday. "well its most difficult when you don't date" I told her. she didn't realize how scared the 11th corpse boys were of us stable moms w/kids at IC, f7 corpse. anyway my last year in rez one of my corpse brothers (divorced now but was married in rez) went on and on about HOW I SHOULD MARRY corpse. I told him I didn't want to marry corpse guys. He politely reproved me, how could I NOT want to??? etc. he didn't realize we hardly dated, because like I said, the 11th corpse were not looking to be instant fathers, and their pool of available girls was much better I guess at Euphoria, not sure, but there wasn't much possibility of dating & considering marriage etc when you were in rez at IC, we were busy doing our own corpse program PLUS trying to be moms etc. anyway I was in LaCrosse WI(upon graduation, 2 yrs there) and Geo (we were friends of 10+ years at that time) was in MN, we started dating and decided to get married. He got invited to corpse week and we talked to 2 guys who might marry us. Both refused, one suggested we live together (honest) and the other said no cause he wasn't corpse!!! upon eloping on our way home I talked to my new leader in WA state, Ho*** Bied***** and he was sooooooooo offended I married non-corpse, was a total foot about us being in HIS area and treated us like total crap on a regular basis! The only reason I survived ( I was ready to leave then and that was before Pop, etc) was that Ho***'s leader was a corpse bro of MINE WHO loved me, we were drinkin buds at IC, Ha ha dickhead. The limb leader also liked me so Bied***** had no bitch about me that got anywhere but himself. So he made life living hell for us. Once Geo got a looser in the area a job cause the guy couldn't keep a job for nuttin, and Geo got reproved cause the looser was late for a twig leaders meeting!!! anyway, the arranged marriages was a scam. I feel bad for those women who waited WAY to long and remained single. and for those who married cause of someone suggesting it.... I BELIEVE, correct me if I am wrong, but craigers and donna was one of those marriages that was SUGGESTED and followed thru on? suz
  7. UPDATE: went to Grand Rapids and saw Robin, we had a LONG layover there, so enjoyed the work-out room (hot tub was cold :(--> so couldn't enjoy it) enjoyed the 1 2 3 deal they give crew $1 draft beers $2 house wine $3 drinks had lunch at the local smokey bones and didn't eat dinner. left GRR and headed to DFW then off to CVG (across the river from Cincinnatti)Covington KY, called 7390 but he wasn't available to visit me, so dinner with the crew, and later I enjoyed the hot tub! then to ORD (chicago) and quite a day of working to YUL (Montreal) and back then to TOL and back (Toledo). Got done with my 3 days of fun about 6pm so its home sweet home right now for two more days! (laundry and ironing to get ready for 6 days on the road) flyin

    Cost of having fun...

Z will have to update you when our cost of having fun in the Grand Canyon adds up. my cost of having fun, I mean working. being a flight attendant isn't the best paying job out there since they limit us to 75 hrs a month SO when I'm working, lets say I have a layover somewhere, I get there at noon or so. I COULD always pack food (after 3 or more days that lunchmeat and cheese sticks gets boooorrrrinnng)BUT instead the crew (pilot and first officer and another f.a. if we are on the bigger plane) go eat AT LEAST dinner =$15+ (usually plus) breakfast a must =$6+ if we do lunch too =$9+ drinks ? (sometimes) =$10 (long layovers ya gotta do something!) shopping? ? =??? (depends if its ON SALE or not...lol) tips(always the van driver to/from the hotels and of course the waitresses etc =$8 A DAY???? OMG, well not to worry, they pay us $1.30 an hour per diem when we are away from base, I mean for this last 3 day trip I made an extra $78 BUCKS....so hmm, does per diem pay for my time away from base plus my spending???(minor details like eating??) crap, should I go back to the lunch meat and cheese sticks in order to effectively do my job where I need to be strong, healthy, happy?? NAW I deserve it!! flyin

    FYI

let me jump in on this Family Corpse discussion. ;)--> loyboy probably does get a stipend of some sort, true enough he does know to much and cover-up monies would be a good idea!! Also Linda -- Joe Guarini also said each leader on the field should work a real job and know what it was like to run a fellowship, work, have a family etc. He realized how hard it was for us peons to do it all PLUS support them. What a guy that Joe was, I miss him terribly. btw imho, if loyboy was EVEN a smidge smarter than he looked he should have stashed monies long long ago, I mean what the hell did he need money for on staff? His every need was taken care of. He could have been rich just stashing a small percentage of the money they earned! Hell just getting some it from registration during ROA every year would have been good!
  10. just a funny: upon arrival to RC one of my corpse sisters from NY was shown her room, she said, "ok this is my closet now where is my room?" she also, when getting to Tinny for Lead said, "where are the bathrooms?" (when they motioned to her the great outdoors was her bathroom she was shocked) suzie

    Josie's dying

I have missed your words of wisdom my dear friend Plot. I know your heart aches with the loss of a dear friend, her memory can live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her like you and of course Sally. I am sure you will be doing her service, and I know it will be a hard one for you. I would love to hear (if you do this at your services for those who die) stories of Josie's impact on other peoples lives. I am guessing her history is rich and full of love and grace, as she was with you I am sure there are many who have tales to tell. No more pain or suffering and now she rests. love, suzie
  14. I travel so I haven't kept up with this thread and I'll be dammed if I know IF HOWARD ever finished the other thread.(which page??) I didn't know about what actually happened and what lead up to why Rochelle comitted suicide, but I guess the lead truck wreck had much to do with her mental state of mind. I honestly thought the thread was going to be about Rochelle but it was about Howard, or so it seemed to me. Her name was mentioned what, 2,3 times??? I just can't continue with the melodrama of it all anymore. I quit reading this forum so long ago and it seems the same players are still playing (those that are playing). Sometimes the names have changed to protect the innocent, but it seems the mind games, the power, the "look at me", and the melodrama of it all continues.(seems, like Jerry Springer at times!!) I agree with(whoever said it) that just even trying to remember some of this stuff makes me sick. We were prisoners of thought, feeding the gristmill of TWI. (some continue to feed the mill) movin on in life
  15. drat, here I sit in a Cleveland Hotel, and I don't have LindaZ's phone number, oh well, lesse, this week I was in Madison WI. and Omaha NE, drat, nobody to visit me. and tonight in OH, beautiful OH..... oh yeah, well I am outta here in the mornin!! suz
  16. the kid GOT blood poisoning from being in the IC bathrooms!! it would have killed him but thank God my bud Linda was paying attention. she had money there cause I left her w/my 2 kids, and it was HER responsibility to take him to the Doctor??? don't you think possibly someone at IC would have put it on the tab?? it somehow was our moneys that had to be spent if/when someone got sick. our first year Chris Boulange was in rez so we had him available, otherwise IF/WHEN we got sick enough for the doc, it was our $$ even tho IT WAS IC and THEIR rusty pipes that infected the kid. IF possible we would leave money when we dumped our children on our other in rez friends. I just happened to have left her money, otherwise she couldn't have taken him!
  17. Hey LADY, 60!! wow I didn't realize you were THAT MUCH OLDER than ME!!! well try to jump out of the wheel chair and enjoy it anyway, have a big o'l drink on me ;)--> someday I too will be 60!!! (I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now) love ya, suz
  18. I was Family corpse, and we had mostly women. talk about stupid, they had 2 women hitch-hiking to Tinney, that was really dumb. My first year I was with a lovely black lady named Sandra Carver. She was a kick, we had a hell of a time hiking thru the south. Me not knowing predjudice but believe me, the South knew it! On one of our rides home a truck driver pulled his truck over and asked which one of us was going to "DO" him. Sandra shocked asked what HE WAS TALKING ABOUT!!! He said, "didn't you see the side of my truck?? It says, cash, grass or foot for rides! He let us out in the middle of a deserted hiway somewhere in bf tx, we had to walk aprox 2 miles into the town where the next truck stop was, begging for rides to our beloved IC...the dickhead walked in aprox 1 hr later looking quite smug. It was, in hindsite, quite dangerous for us girls to be out there on the road alone. Many more hitchiking stores but let me continue with Lead. I was in rez w/11th corpse, I had no idea to the severity of the accident. We also had an accident which I was not involved. But Sam and Billie Grahme were in the back of a pick-up truck and Billie broke her arm because of an accident. Funny cause they were the ones who sold Tinney to TWI, but they didn't have to go that time, obviously! As for me, well I was a skinny girl, they tried to put an 80# back-pack on me, I kept falling over, and over, and over, I would be like a turtle on its back, stuck, they would have to help me up!! It was stupid and pathetic. I only weighed about 30# more than the back-pack!! (This was during the hike in.) Anyway finally I started dry heaving and having symptoms of hypothermia. Someone finally figured it out that I was going to be a problem unless they took care of me, so they gave me water, and took some of my load and re-distributed it amongst those that could handle the weight. I hated the climbing BUT, at one point, I had a terrible fear of heights which I think Joanne (Clydes wife-used to be Strauhal) talked me out of the fear. Anyway the over heavy back-pack caught up with me after getting home to IC. One morning about 1 week later I bent over to get in a lower drawer and my back completely went out. I was 1 1/2" shorter on my right side, could move forward or backward, couldn't move much at all. Went to the local Chiro and when I saw the x-rays it blew my mind. The lower back had 3 vertabre that were off at a right angle about 180 degrees. It scared me and of course hurt like hell. I couldn't do much for a couple weeks, and I mean couldn't even brush my own hair!! Had to do the chiro for about 1 month and my back has never been the same!! Oh also on my duo---afterwards when they came to get me,,,,,it was suggested that I quit smoking....(which I never smoked in my life). yeah those guys were spirtually tapped in. IF I quit smoking I would be stronger...yeah, thanks guys. The worse thing of course for those of us who were "allowed" to do the LEAD crap (family corpse) was having to leave our kids to do the stupid program, and again for lightbearers, and again for whatever the hell else they chose to send us off to. I came home once and the wonderful lady taking care of my son WAS tapped in. My son got blood poisining from scraping his leg on one of the bathtubs at IC. Thank God I left her money (to take him to the doctor!!). You don't think TWI would pay for any doctor bills do you?? Hell NO. My last year one of the staff hitch-hiked with me, it was a guy this time, much smarter move. I agree, LEAD should have been volunteer ONLY. It was a farce. Desert MY kids to learn to climb rocks, or go witnessing, or go to whatever. God I am glad they have forgiven me for the neglect, I only wish they could forget :(-->
  19. drat, sorry but my days off are the 16th and 17th which I thought was one of the days, oh well, maybe next time, suz ps have a blast in the hot sunshine, don't forget to take your own bottle water, the water in LV is yuckypoo!!
