  1. It doesn't involve time travel, here's another piece of dialog from a different character earlier in the show. This is my personal valet, Mona Lovesit...she speaks seven languages has degrees in biology, chemistry, physics can fly anything from a jet to a helicopter and makes an excellent martini, cheers.
  2. Actually you might be surprised to know this but the 2 by 2 started in the middle of the '92-'93 WOW year, right after one of the guys in our team left the field, his poor wife was in shock but stayed with the team. Funny how one person can effect the whole TWI policy. Can you say micromanagement? Seth
  3. The only thing I have for you is a hug, as big or little as you like, I'm not sure but I don't think I'm older then you. So take it or leave it I give you a hug. [oh, should I derail my own thread? Seems to me VPW learned alot from those spiritualists and stayed tapped into the "lower power" how else would he know to say things that he did to so many?] Seth
  4. Awesome this is great we are on track here, Potato nailed it, this is what is needed for healing first recognize there is a problem. Good stuff so far keep it coming. BTW welcome Potato I'm honored to have your 5th post be the 5th post on this thread, :) no numerology just fact. Here's another one: "Problem" in TWI we didn't have problems we had opportunities. I don't know what's wrong with the word problem, in math they are called problems that doesn't make them any harder to solve anymore then saying "I have a math opportunity" make it easier to solve. "blessed" vs. "lucky" God forbid I be caught using the word lucky in casual conversation in the lobby of the Nerd over the World auditorium during the advanced class! There were localized loaded language, especially in the mid to late '80's it seemed California had it's own set of words they used to trigger their people. Anyone care to contribute? Seth
  5. That's not what I am talking about, and as far as I can see most of the people on this board won't get it because they still use it. I'm talking loaded language here, most are clueless as to what it is, I refuse to think there are nothing but a bunch of mindless zombies lurking and posting here. If you don't know what I'm talking about google "loaded language thought control" Seth
  6. Can I join in? Another decorators nightmare, this era had a distinct lack of taste.
  7. This should be fun, maybe easy and hopefully healing. I'm talking about identifying, defining, categorizing and emphasizing TWI buzzwords, wayspeak, the loaded language of a cult. I'll start. Believe [bi-leev] - verb, To hold true anything VPW or other TWI leader teaches, to the end of taking action on such teachings. To teach others the same. Unbelief [uhn-bi-leef] - noun, Not believing what VPW or other TWI leader teaches. Failing to do what TWI teaches, not living "The More Abundant Life", not tithing etc... Spiritual [spir-i-choo-uhl] - adjective, Referring to the devil spirit world, any religion, any successful person or group not affiliated with TWI. Off [awf, of] - adverb, Any TWI brother or sister who is not "in fellowship", TWI follower who may not be playing nice with local leadership. Later I'll add how these words made me feel and how I acted because of it. I'll discuss how loaded language always caused me to stop my train of thought, (usually one that was healthy or at least normal) and start the TWI approved thoughts. Then I will talk about how I think about them now, and how I use these words without the thought stopping action. Please add yours so we all can join in the discussion, I can't remember all the words TWI used to keep us in check so I really do need help here. Thanks, Seth
  8. You know what I mean, there has always been a little bait and switch going on over on the farm in New Knoxville. Years being fudged for credibility sake. From what I understand VP wanted to try and keep the year Emporia was established as the same year "The Way College" was founded, 1882 see this link so there's my point. I'm guessing if VP could get away with it at the time he would have made the founding date of TWI the year his first ancestor immigrated from Europe to the United States. Seth

I am Ahmed, this is Kasheeki in the green head band, and the rest of the guys we are Queer-eye for the Islamic guy. Let's make you Fabulous!"
  10. TWI was incorporated in 1955 so the corporation is only 51 years old. 64 - 51 = 13. There's a 13 year discrepancy, any numerologists want to comment on the number 13? Seth
  11. Welcome Abe. I'll say this much LCM sure knew how to screw up a good thing. I'm sure he's sitting out there thinking, "Man if I only would have sat back and just let this thing run itself. I shouldn't have stopped the open market at the ROA, I should have left the afternoon stage, I should have never demanded alligence from the leaders. I should've left PFAL alone never ended the WOW program, stopped the ROA..." Is it me or did LCM put an end to more things then he started? Sounds like he really was a lazy bastard. Another thought I had, if Jesus demanded that much paperwork from his disciples nothing would have happened, and we would have at least some documentation of how much they didn't get done. :) I could see it now, the History Channel would have a show about the Roman Paper Reduction Act, how the early christian church was buried under tons of paper work. OK back to the regularly scheduled program. Seth
  12. WordWolf, Yes you can muckup the look and feel however you like just like XP, but if you are looking for a more efficent UI why not use Linux? Since VMWare is free now you could use Linux to do anything, but then that's my twisted thinking. As far as stablility goes I'll answer that after I install Battlefield 2 on it and play for a couple hours, but if you want to test the quality of your components Install Vista, if it even let's you install it then you have a good box. I'm running build 5728 which is much better then 5600 that one was quirky, but build 5384 was TOO STABLE it took 2 hours to install and was sloooow I put 1.5 gig of ram in it and it still was slow I found out why, the Indexing service. It's a love hate with Vista, the graphics are nice the interface is smooth, but it's like traveling in cold-war Europe exery time you run a new program or install something you have to show your papers, OK just kidding but the mouse clicking get's nuts. I think they really have a server class OS running with a desktop look and feel, it's the best of XP and server 2003. John, all the beta testers are running "Vista Ultimate" which is like XP Pro MediaCenter and Tablet Edition rolled up into one. The Terminal services are not part of this build. Right now I'm dictating using Microsoft's speech recognition services. This is really cool because all I have to do is talk tough to you, and it types the words very accurately I might say. So the best new thing in Microsoft Vista is the ability to dictate your messages. Now that I am doing this I think this is how I will answer all my mail from now on. So all I have to do is speak to the computer and it types the words in, if I want to edit something there's certain commands I can speak. In closing my report to you I want to say this, using this speech recognition system I may not switch to linux after all. However I doubt that the speech recognition system would be included in anything but the ultimate edition, we will have to see. Seth P. S. I spent 10 minutes talking to the computer correcting the mistakes that the speech recognition system made. It's kind of neat and I didn't even need to type to edit my document!
  13. Wow you sure want alot, I'd get a Mac. But seriously I always use a 3rd party burner, because Microsoft's built in apps suck, they always have, Vista is not going to change that. I'm just testing it, I'm going to switch to Linux and Mac OSX soon, goodbye Windows. Seth
  14. Here is a PDF from Ex-Cultworld showing they took LCM off of the board in 2001, shortly after it was reported on-line that LCM was living there. Other documents of interest are here. Seth
  15. Hi I'm a beta tester for Microsoft, so I get to play with new software before most folks, I just wanted you to see what it looks like. Seth
  16. Yes, oh yeah I have a sleeping problem. Seth
  17. In 1987 I was living in a BC's house with my Mom in Eureka CA. Seems the LC and other BC's from CA were having secret meetings in the house to come up with a plan on how to oust LCM. Although I was not present at these meetings I noticed something amiss with these guys and their wives. But I was only 18, what did I know? Seth

    The Tom Baby

Only thing I can see is they must have taken the kid to "Hairclub for babies" look at the locks on that kid. This kid must be a thetan killer, L. Ron would be proud. Seth
  19. Tom, I bet people close to VP saw he was a man who could employ fatal violence to get his way. He was an avid hunter, so he knew his way around a gun, he had acres and acres of farmland to dispose of the evidence. I have no doubt Dotty thought long about how if she opposed VP to hard she might disapear into the woods never to be seen again. If that happened people would rally around VP and say "the adversary has struck home and taken Dotty to try and destroy our beloved ministry." I've heard it said there are more bodies buried on TWI grounds then most people know about. So in my mind how Dotty could have stayed in such a situation is clear, considering I didn't even live on TWI grounds but was very afraid to leave TWI myself. Seth
  20. Please somebody anybody, who knows the full lyrics to this song I'm writing a parody and I need to know to finish it. Seth
