  1. Robes, I have been a member of that list for quite awhile as well as other believers links. again, thanks for the memories(a la Bob Hope) and have in past asked RG about them, but haven't received a reply.
  2. Penquin, Alleluia! Christ is Risen! The Lord is risen indeed, Alleluia! A blessed Easter! The peace of the ressurrected Messiah be with you always! Thomas
  3. To Ted, Brian, Paolo, etc. if it is copyrighted to TWI or to any of you, I am willing to pay for the rights and see that you get fair compensation as artists deserve for their "creations" musically. I know you all worked hard and should have gotten royalties for your masterpieces. Thomas
  4. WD, sorry about my impatience, but on Raf's site you implied you already had the CD's and was ready to sell them. Mea culpa! Mercedes, Selah was the band that included Paul Vergilio aka Paolo Emilio Dionisio, Krisitna Linder Perez, Ed Price, and Mike Lieb(good German last name) for the 1st 2 albums-the last 2 were by Paul alone with backup singers like Vickie Allen(wife of Ellie Ray). I asked Nancy Kent if David Bailey and Agape from Great Britain ever converted their only album to CD, but never got a response. I listen to WMIT-FM from Asheville,NC and have tried to get them to play some of the old TWI. It is run by Billy Graham's organization at The Cove in Black Mountain and is relayed to Charlotte and Boone(home of Franklin and Samaritan's Purse). TLB
  5. Ted, thanks for any help. Do you have the original master tapes personally or does TWI still own them? By the way(pun not intended), I also have the 2 CD set of the Late Great Jesus Movement(Petra and 2nd Chapter of Acts) plus Hillsongs and Casting Crowns as well as Integrity's Worship Together Series and John Tesh(Worship at Red Rocks). Maybe a ROA reunion at Red Rocks in Colorado with any of the old Way Productions groups. Understand it has absolutely fantastic acoustics. Thomas
  6. I already have CD's of Good Seed, Paul Vergilio, Cliff Adelman, Dean Ellenwood, Ted Ferrell and from Christian Research and Fellowship(Alan Michelsen, Mary Ann Daly Hendricks, etc). However, I am looking for CD's Of Joyful Noise(4 albums), Pressed Down(2 albums), Stevie Kay's Love Child(yes I know she and Jamie divorced, but whatever happened to their daughter?), Steve and Bev Strick's Miles of Smiles, Sue Pierce and Lynn Perrigo Timothy, and Larry and Marieanne Shicks/Hope album Theophilus. I also know that Steve and Bev are divorced as well. Please CD's, not tapes(I already have vinyl record albums, but hate having to turn them). Also, any recordings of early Rock of Ages albums minus VPW's teaching? Thanks! ps Whitedove has said he/she is working on this, but WD has not responded to my requests. Does anyone know if Brian Bliss, Joe Fair , or Ralph Graham regularly visits GSC? TLB
  7. This is not the state song of Ohio, but works for me. Beautiful dreamer, wake unto me(Stephen Foster).
  8. New Jerusalem Bible is another RC approved translation. Others include New Revised Standard Version, Hohlman's Common Standard Bible, Contemporary English Version, and New Centuary Version just to name only a few.
  9. Mark, number 1, the district supertendent makes that decision primarily with consent from the bishop in UMC, 2. clergy no longer are moved about every 5 years(been lawsuits by pastors and congregations for such meddling into the local affairs unless doctrine or morality is involved). Districts are like deaniries in RC(sometimes called convocations) with charges being congregations in each county/city. Suggest you buy Handbook on denominations in US, 12th edition from Abingdon Press(Cokesbury in Nashville).
  10. Wierwille's epitaph should have read "I wish I had been the man God wanted me to be instead of the jerk and fool I am". Can I get an Amen, brothers and sisters?
  11. Excuse me, I meant Rhapsody/Real Play, I-tunes, or Windows Media Player at 2:37 AM in rembrance of ROA.
  12. For a moment I thought The Way Tree was being reinstituted with Belieze/British Honduras being the new HQ or else Germanton,Tennesse was vying over New Knoxville as the new root.
  13. Hello Paw, are you awake? The last post has been here for over 2 days, or do I need to play Beautiful Ohio over the PA sound system?
  14. If they put this on DVD to be shown in local fellowships, will they be able to keep it permanently or UPS/Fed-EXed over the state/region hq? Are they willing to show it even to 1 person, free of cost, no matter the headache TWI might get? Does this mean Rosie, Donna, John Rupp, etc need to start working in fast food or window washing, and surrender their salaries, perks, etc. Maybe I am expecting a geniune miracle. Maybe the shock will render the BOT/D with cardiac arrest, finally closing down the organization. One can always hope.
  15. ckmkeon and others like MDVardan,Oldies, Mike, Jonathiam, etc. I strongly suggest that you purchase the 5 books I mentioned which is more fair and balanced than Fox News on this topic and as Bill O'Reilly would say, no bloviating, please.
  16. ck, the question was related to other people who responded to poll listing their denominational preference as individuals, not what is a Lutheran. I should know being the son of a deceased Lutheran pastor and presently serving a Lutheran church as an organist/musician. Recently, Augsburg/Fortress Press released the Lutheran Handbook(with a winking Martin Luther showing that humor and serious information, side by side) and the new Lutheran Course with video and workbook, free of cost to those interested, coming out of congregational budget. Will TWI offer its new class free of charge, even if everyone drops out? Also check out my topic on denominations and books I suggested in that forum.
  17. Who besides me are the other 3 Lutherans that responded to the poll? You can email me or send a private message.Just curious, that's all.
  18. The books I mentioned line up denominations according to families. Ex. Lutherans include Evangelical Lutheran Church in America(5 million), Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod with 3 Mil., Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod-1 million, Evangelical Lutheran Synod(Norwegian Eliesen), Federantion of Free Evangelical Lutheran Congregations, General Protestant Conference, Lutheran Church of the Augsburg Confession, Lutheran Church Brethern, Lutheran Church of the Reformation, Inter-Lutheran Synodical Conference, just to name a few in the United States(not counting Canada). Also Walter Martin's Kingdom of the Cults would be strongly recomended, which includes Moon's Unification Church, Scientology, and a brief mention of TWI. Spiros Zodiates updated the material. Going back to the other 4 books, Catholic includes Holy Roman, Liberal, Old, Polish National, Uniate. Orthodox includes Greek, Russian, Serbian, Ukranian, Coptic, Nestorian/ Ancient Church of the East. Baptist includes Southern, Free-will, General, National, Progressive, Seventh-Day, American/Northern. And this is only a small example of what these books communicate to those interested in such things.
  19. Kevlar, don't give up your day job. You won't make it on the comedy club circuit.
  20. It was Benita Jess and I think Mal George who headed up the Aramaic research at TWI, having studied with George Lamsa and Rocco Errico(who has his own group called Noodrha Foundation in Smyrna ,GA). As for research, I would consider retired Lutheran Proffessor Frederick Danker from the Lutheran School of Theology at the University of Chicago and his book Multi-Purpose Tools for Bible Study from Augsburg/Fortress Press(Minneapolis).
  21. Mark, under sub-catergory of Christian Protestant for Episcopalians/Anglicans, you also list United Methodist and Nazerene, which should have been listed as Wesleyan and been a seperate catergory instead of being linked with Episcopal(although John and Charles remained Anglican priests for life). Check out my topic on Denominations whcih line them up according to families. Have a blessed Ash Wednesday and Lenten season, bro.
  22. On another thread is a poll about different denominations/religions/ sects/cults. For those who are interested about these groups as relates to doctrine, worship, polity(church structure), etc. The following 4 books may answer your questions. Handbook on Denominations in the United States(Canada has eqivalent groups) by Frank Mead, 12th edition from Abingdon/Cokesbury(United Methodist); Unathorized Guide to chosing a church by Carmen Renee Berry from Brazos Press; Complete Idiot's Guide to Christianity by Jeffery Webb from Alpha/Penguin Books; and Honoring Our Neighbor's Faith by Robert Buckley Farlee from Augsburg/Fortress Press(Lutheran). This is in response to ckmkeon and his parents about their tirade against Roman Catholicism, and especially against Mark O'Malley and Coolchief. As I said in that post and in pm to ckmkeon to get better information before making false statements.
  23. Mark, you forgot to interpret your tongues speaking again. Let me try. There is only one God and prophet, and his name is Wierwille. White Dove, I didn't know you knew gangsta rap/hip-hop. LOL.
  24. On the question of the ressurrection, I don't believe in last time physical bodily ressurection, but believe that spiritual ressurection occurs upon death(body will simply decay and never be raised). In other words, upon death I will automatically be raised to new life in Christ Jesus and go directly to heaven for all eternity. As for manifestations, I think BGLeonard got it right, not Wierwille, and while I do not require that others agree with me, I do all 9 but not all the time 24/7/12. But that's just me.
  25. I just checked out the Boston site and it has a picture of Zordan from the original Power Rangers( is that VPW in a fish bowl)?
