  1. Belle, this sounds like Edward William Kenyon, Kenneth and Joyce Copeland, Joyce Myers, Benny Hinn,, Kenneth Hagins Sr. and Jr., and Joel Esteen of Lakeside Baptist(Texas), and Robert Tilton Thomas with Word of Faith movement which merged with Pentecostal/Assemblies of God denominations and other groups like Vineyard Ministries, Freedom In Christ, and Alpha(John Wimber, Neil T. Anderson, and Nicky Gumbel) except the last 3 people mentioned are more interesting in personality-wise. Teaching is not neccesarily wrong but, new examples are needed.
  2. Gee, for a moment I expected Steve and Bev Strick singing "We're off on our way to Ohio(we shall not be moved with Ted and gang in background). Come on down to foot hills of western North Carolina to southern part of Catawba County near Startown/Newton, Maiden, and Lincolnton. We have some semi-flat valley areas, farm land(corner of Startown and Biggerstaff Roads) with plenty of woods, but with some pretty hills. Welcome to the Rock of Ages 2006! It's good to be home again. O my Gawd, I think the devil spirit of Wierwille just temporary possed(SIC) me . Wow. LOL. Oh, it's now CD's not tapes. Personally I prefer Rebecca St. James, David Crowder, and John Tesh.
  3. Eagle, welcome. I live about 5 hours from you in Hickory, located at foothills of the Blue Ridge.
  4. Thought I would inform everyone that I added info on earlier Way Productions groups at Wikipedia and it should have said Stevie Kay.
  5. Rocco Errico, who studied with George Lamsa, wrote in 1994 a book called The Mysteries of Creation: The Genesis Story, published by the Noohra Foundation in Smyrna,GA gives a different interpretation to your question, Mark. Also, Lamsa's Old Testament Light book talks about this.
  6. I thought Pat's middle name was Ann(e), but it might have been Elizabeth. Pat, I don't know if you visit Greasespot Cafe or not. If you do or someone knows your location/email, please leave private message and share how you have been these 27 years. Sorry if I have embarresed you. Just want to know that you are happy.
  7. Lisa, according to my resources Cornerstone Church/Fellowship and Connections Church(es) are store front /home churches which are independent congregations not associated with any denominations or TWI splinter groups. At least they are around in Western NC.
  8. Droll, Groucho! just like your namesake. Actually, VP got it from Jack Edwin Stiles and Brian George(or is it Gregory) Leonard(now taught be Evelyn his widow, living in Texas), who in turn got it from Lester Sumrall and Smith Wigglesworth, plus Dennis and Rita Bennett, Sam Storms, John Ireland, Charles Bryant, John Wimber(once associated with Ted Wise), etc. Where Craig got his version, uuuh. Now, there was an imbecile.
  9. Often, new people do not get down to basement of GreaseSpot to check out about former friends that were in TWI. Looking for Patricia Fetner who I met in 1976 for NCMinuteman(or was it NCSummer WOW Ambassador?) who came from Sanford NC, graduated from East Carolina University in either 1977/78/79 and majored in accounting/busssiness, she wanted to work with Jerry Jenkins(?) who was selling TWI books in greater Greensboro area, married her twig leader from Sanford, has/had twin sister Linda(who had a small daugther at that time) and is suppose to presently live in Charlotte,NC and is married herself. Pat maybe living either in Arkansas, Sandhills of North Carolina(Laurinburg/Lumberton area), or in South Carolina between Columbia and either Charleston or Mrytle Beach(Florence/Darlington/Conway). Tried Google People Search, but could not determine because I don't know her middle name(whether it is "A" or "E"). SO help me out folks, and yes this should be further down "scrolled" but this forum is viewed more than all the rest combined. OH, I had a major love crush on her and kind of wish situation had been different because she was /is a gorgeous blonde and soo sexy. Under different circumstances she might have been my wife for nearly 30 years. I don't want to embarass her or cause any problems maritally, just want to see her as a friend and pray she is happy.
  10. And to think CK wants to be a moderator, but whines, and throws a temper tantrum when Paw and others act out their function on this board.
  11. Searching for Patricia Fetner, blond, caucasin, 5'5", originally from Sanford,NC, attended and graduated from ECU in either 1978 or 79 in Bussiness/Accounting, has a twin sister Linda(who at the time had a young daughter) and is suppossed to be presently living in Charlotte,NC. Both ladies married, with Pat marrying her twig leader from Sanford. At one time she considered working with Jerry Jenkins(who was selling TWI books in Piedmont Triad that same summer, and he had originally worked with Southwestern Book/Bible company out of Nashville,TN). Any info on either would be appreciated. I think Pat either lives in Sandhills of NC(Laurinburg/Lumberton area) or in SC between Columbia and Charleston. She would be about age 50. Contact me either through GSC or personal email. Thanks. Thomas
  12. John, was that David Bailey in the photo playing guitar(formerly of Agape from UK)? Did I understand he now lives in Northeast Tenn.? if so, can you send his email addy, since that is only over 90 minutes from my house here in Hickory? Would love if he can do CD of Agape's only album.
  13. This is the Doctor, emailing from my Tardis on route to Gallifry to view over the ruins and skeletal remains of the Time Lords. Just wanted to see if Pawtuckett and others were paying attention. This summer I am running around to Ohio and Indianna for music conferences(Columbus for Moravian Festival at Trinity Lutheran Seminary, and Green Castle for Hymn society at Depaw U.) Just call me Doctor Who? Actually prefer that over Fluffy Chuckle Chunks(sounds like Garfield got turned into Lasagna) LOL Hello, anyone down here in the basement? Don't turn out the lights! Are you sure this isn't the Luna Foundation/Legacy House in San Fransisco or Collinwood Estate in Maine(Dark Shadows) near Chris Geer's haunted stomping grounds?
  14. I always liked ROA(anyone ever considered maybe renting out Red Rocks in Colorado?), but never smoked weed or had sex. On other chat about 90's WP, still liked JN, GS, PDSTARO, Selah/PV, Hope, Agape, Tom Lepinski.
  15. O you poor people. WP was much better in the 70's and coolchief I believe it was David Bailey from Great Britain who wrote The Fireside Song for Agape(British folk rock group of mid 70's). Boy, Am I glad I left when I did(even thought The Chicken or the Egg was stupid). Today's CCM with Toby Mac, Newsboys, Rebecca St. James and Casting Crowns are the seccessors to Joyful Noise, Good Seed, Pressed Down, and Selah. No wonder Ted resigned/fired and left TWI.
  16. O lord, sounds like to tell the truth and what's my line. Fluffy Chuckle Chunks? Actually prefer Doctor Who, Time Lord extraordinaire. Hello, I'm the Doctor. Run for your lives! Care to visit my Tardis and become my live-in companion? any female assiatant will do. :) <_<
  17. Alright, Sloopy, potty and others, when did Just silly forum happen to drop down here and where did you all get those ridiculous aliases? btw, I know for a fact that Raf's 'secret ID is a weatherman because he told me so.
  18. Abi, was this the recent Luther film/motion picture of 3 or so years ago?
  19. Just loafing, why the gas mask? reminds me of recent Doctor Who in Unearthly Child(no not 1963 with grand daughter Susan) seen on SciFi
  20. If the glove don't fit, you must aquit. Whoops, that's the late Johnnie Cochran, not VPW. <_<
  21. Roy, I consider myself to be a Christian believer within the Lutheran frame of the body of Christ. Angry at The Way Internationl? no,just dissapointed that their behavior hasn't changed. Not so much against their doctrine(though I do disagree on Trinity) because they have the right to have different understanding. But their immorality/non-renewed mind attitude did not square away with their teaching, nice doctrine-just failed to practice what they taught and preached. PS, I know some Christians consider the Holy Spirit in feminine form(Breath), but I still get concerned with feminist Re-Imagining the Trinity as Mother, Daughter/Child, and Wisdom(Sophia)/Breath/thing/it. Also, I assume that if I talked to you in spoken conversation, it would be much clearer. Also, I make my own mistakes typing without using Spellcheck. Thomas
  22. Belle, who is Sloopy Frickenhump? why not Igor?
  23. Roy, despite wrong things done by Wierwille, Geer, and Martindale, I don't think any of them would have gone to the degree that this person did, nor do I beleve that they would have gone in the direction of Jim Jones or David Koresh. at least, I would hope not, though with Craig anything was possible, but thank God it didn't. This is not to say that rapes or potential pedophiles were absent in TWI. We know that rapes by VPW, CG, and LCM unfortunately did occur. However murder in TWI by leaders would have destroyed the organization, and I don't think they were that stupid. God bless you. Thomas
  24. I have a better library of Biblical Research tools from additional resources. Plus I name outside sources by author much better than VPW and LCM ever could imagine in their little pea-picking brains(wonder if wierwille plagurized materials for his Master's thesis at Princeton, I think not or else he would have been expelled and flunked in all subjects).
  25. We tend to forget that Hitler was Jewish himself(his mother's side) as was Himmler, Goering and most Nazi leaders and the Arayans were from Persia(Iraq and Iran) and India, and they were dark skined, not Teutonic Scandinavians/Vikings who worshipped Odin/Wooten and Thor, and oak trees(Sorry Oakspear). If we count all who were murdered by Nazis, Stalin, and other dictators during WWII, the number is an astounding 9 million(Jews, Gypsies, Christians, Homosexuals, crippled, etc.) at least(estimates are there should have been on Earth at least at that time over 500 million people). Today's number is actually closer to seven billion people living on Earth.
