T-Bone, finally understands about a big problem I had with TWI; hitchhiking!! No way would I have hitchhiked anywhere!!! Not me! I read about some of the serious problems some experienced with LEAD! All sorts of problems happened with LEAD, and hitchhiking. Just so TWI could save a few pennies. I was so angry when I read about that woman having to cut-off her toes! Being from Central NY State, I know you don't go out in a blizzard, unless you have special training to do so. I have lived through some blizzards, and I stay inside, where I am safe. It's not Rocket Science; it's Common Sense. However, I think the TWI lacked Common Sense in so many areas; God expects us to use our brains.

OS, the more time I spend at the GSC, the more I learn about the S--t, that went in TWI. Thank you for your post!!

Twinky, I am so glad I never went Corps!! I think I probably would have told a lot of people to go F-themselves, and been kicked out. So many of the Corps, especially the women, were used, abused, and thrown away like garbage! And TWI calls itself a "Christian" Organization. What a lot of hot air!!

Chock, I do believe you are right!

Ex, absolutely!! Several members of my family have died, and I believe I will see them again, and spend eternity with them. Perhaps, I am wrong, but U take great comfort in knowing that I will see them after ai die!

Spot, I think you nailed it. I think most of what was taught in PFAL was garbage; however if others think it was a great class, good for them!

D, thanks for your post!! I too learned something things in PFAL; namely that getting a class together was a lot of work! After a while, I got sick of all the pressure to put one together, and stopped taking the class. I always felt that we were under so much pressure to get a class together, that I couldn't enjoy my life. Finally, I stood back, and let others put the classes, and do all the work. I did all that nonsense when I was a WOW; I didn't have to do it anymore. Suddenly, I was able to live again, without feeling guilty that I hadn't signed anyone up for the class! God loved me, and approved of me, because I was me! What a great lesson that was for me to learn!!

T-Bone, great post! In my opinion PFAL was a lot of garbage! And it was boring as Hell to listen too!

GM, good point!! I am thankful that TWI turned me on to God, but I think VPW was a POS. I have read here at the GSC, of many of the evil things he did to so many good people; it makes me glad that he is dead.

Cat, what a great post!! I too believe that God will meet me at my level, and lead me where He wants me to go. To the best of my ability, I keep my heart, and my motivations pure like you. When I die, I want God to judge me as being the best person I knew how to be.

High, ditto for me!! I thought I was going to change the world with what I learned in PFAL. Here I was 21 years old,and I believed almost all of what I learned in PFAL. Then I went out WOW, and I quickly learned that most of what VPW taught in PFAL was garbage, and very few people wanted it. Hell, toward the end of my WOW year, I didn't believe a lot of it either. I think I was a very foolish young girl, when I tried to sign people up for PFAL. After a while, I got smart, and just went through the motions. I was much happier, and after a while, I left TWI.

Sky, I was never in the Corps, so I don't know that side of VBW. However, I heard VBW teach live a number of times, and I thought he was boring as Hell. I never understood why so many people thought he was such a great man of God; I thought he was a Country Bumpkin. I know some people will disagree with me, but that is/ was my opinion of the man.

OS, you bring up an interesting point: VPW, and his family lived quite well. However, it seems to me, that he expected others to live sub-par, and feed themselves and their families on peanuts. I think he should have set an example for the how the rest of TWI should live. I have worked for a number of Christian Organizations; the people on top live easy, comfortable lives. The people on bottom do the hard work, and often live like S--t.

T-Bone, you are so right!! I am so glad this young woman is speaking out about that POS VB!! But, I have a question for anyone. Why would her mother, and father give, or allow their child to be with someone like VB?? I do not have kids, but I was a Nanny for many years. No way in Hell, would I have allowed someone to hurt the kids in my charge!!! No, no, no!!! Did the parents get charged with Child Abuse, of any sort?? I know that VB was/is a sick puppy, but it seems to me, that the parents are also sick, to allow him to have their daughter. The girl was underage when she was given to VB; she really didn't have a say in what happened to her. I would love to know what happened to the parents.

Sky, as usual, you bring up an interesting point. If the GSC, or Internet had been around 40 years ago, would I have gotten involved with TWI?? I don't think I would have; the GSC continues to teach me the way TWI really operated 40 years ago, and perhaps still does. In the various Twigs I attended, everything was always hunky-dory. God forbid if we had known what really went on in Way World; most of us would have left much sooner, and taken our ABS with us. In my view, TWI was always about money, and not the love of God. The time, and money I wasted in my youth!!

I hope they are HG 30!! I think more, and more people realize that the TWI is a cult, and will an evil one at that!! But, if TWI does fold, what happens to all its money??

Bolshevik, you are so right! It is a cause for celebration! In my view, the AC was a waste of time, and money!!

Allan, why the hell didn't he go to a Dr., and get his Cancer taken care of??!! I have never been to NZ, but I bet they have some very good Doctors there! What ever happened to the idea if you are sick, get it taken care of??!! I bet if the people in TWI got Cancer, their azzes would go to the Doctors!! So, why didn't they tell their people to go, and have it taken care of??!! I think a lot of people in TWI lacked Common Sense!! I think your friend was smart to leave, and get healed! I did, and I am thankful for it!!
