WAP was so confusing .... thinking about it is giving me a headache. So does the advesary have a larger domain than the earth? This is where he also talked about the giant ice cubes that scientist say are floating in space and could take out the planet literally. I am no scientist .... I am not even going to tell you I understand this. My point to this is .... Does this lead us to the knowledge of our living Lord and and Savior Jesus Christ? Is this what gets you saved? Uplifts you? The teaching/instruction was so poorly given, we all probably have different notes in our syllabi and different understandings .. no likemindedness on this crap. The category of Debul Spurt Possession and who is and what is possessed according to TWI really ticks me off. My Opinion here, this is what I believe, Dealing w/ Advesary, Defeating the Advesary, Advance Classes, Advance Class Specials, and of course the Corps teachings were the main devil spirit possession teachings in TWI along with individual teachings from leaders..... Oops I almost forgot Athletes in the Spirit. You pretty much needed most of these classes according to TWI to be able to determine who was indeed possessed. Seeing as determining possession was considered a revelation manifestation. We were taught if you were possessed in the mind you wouldn't know you're possessed by a devil spirit. So if you cannot tell, if you or someone else is possessed, because you didn't have the training or receive big revelation, you had to rely upon a Spiritual Heavy Leader who had the training and received the revelation. I personally don't know anyone who ever saw any phlegm come out of anybodys face. I heard the story that VPWs secretary saw C.Geers face turn into VPWs face one day during mealtime. True or not I don't know. I can't even imagine all those who thought they were Spiritual Heavies who scared the crap out of people in TWI in regards to the people who chose by free will not stand with TWI any longer. Accusing those who left of Devil Spirit possession. I witnessed some of this. I believe this was Damage Control or maybe even Finance Control. This way you keep, those in TWI and those out of TWI, apart. Thus, those still in only heard the one-sided scenerio .... of TWIs Spiritual Heavy who was on damage control, hiding, twisting, perverting and degrading the truth of those people who chose to leave for their own reasons. Now your almighty spiritual heavy or MOG that you look up to is telling you a lesser spiritual person that someone is possessed of such debul spurt(s). Why lesser, because you didn't receive the revelation from God. The Spiritual Heavy received the revelation and had to inform the rest of you who didn't. Now what to do with the information that your brethren who you love dearly, broke bread with, had wonderful conversations and shared your life and the life of your family with is now possessed. Do you or can you even believe it? Are you scared out of your wits? Are you in AWE of the Spiritual Heavies powers for revelation? Do you wish you could receive that revelation yourself? Do you make the decision then and there to be a Spiritual Heavy? Do you automatically take it for truth because its a leader telling you? Do you just take it for truth even though your questioning it in your mind but your scared if you speak up you will be accused of possession? Do you have the guts to ask permission to speak to the accused party because it seems a bit amiss to you? What do you do? I know scenerios where people didn't even care to get the other side of the story. Scenerios where people weren't allowed to hear from the other side. .... no free will to check things out on your own here... no need to right, you aren't as smart as the MOG are ya? So people just let it go out of fear. Are GSers possessed according to TWI ... I would say that the references of Grease Spots Cafe, the Administrator and Posters being possessed has come up more than we will ever know by TWI to its followers. The questions are: How many more will gain back there free will? Who will make the choice to think and investigate for themselves? Who will refuse to be scared into a corner? Who will take the blinders off? Who will stand up for Gods kids whom are wrongly accused? Digi

I never quite understood the teachings on the rewards either. I do believe that TWI held the rewards over our heads to motivate us towards doing what TWI wanted us to do, not necessarily that which was actually Godly. God knows our hearts, our lives, our needs and what he wants to bless us with, its all up to him. We just have to live day to day and let our Heavinly Father bless us as he see's fit, and I don't know one good father on this earth who doesn't want to do for his children. My husband is a great father, but I know GOD is the best and is capable of more than I can possible even imagine. Shellon darling ...... Thank you Sudo dear!! What a great site, those aren't cabins though. They are small chalets. In Alaska a cabin consists of 8X12 log room with a wood stove .. and an outhouse if you are lucky. LOL I will wait ..... this is going to be my second trip out this I am leaving Alaska for part of July and August. I can really relate to Dmiller in this case. As soon as we left TWI we financed a new vehicle. It was a must. When you have to pay cash for your vehicle, you can't afford a 4wheel drive truck in Alaska, even used. Vehicle are very expensive here. So you drive a sedan that is forever stuck in the snow even with good tires, you high center, then you don't make it to your LCs house or twig or latter HFC on time. .. so you get yelled at for your crappy car while you, your spouse and kids are soaking wet and freezing from being out in the cold. I now own a 4WD truck that sits up high so this no longer happens. :)--> It was a need!! Digi

Wytedov and Catcup I was also in Rome City A.C. in 1994 and remember Howard Allen speaking at length regarding his health issues and being delivered. I have also been in the hospital with serious health issues and many of waydale/grease spots posters praying for me. I needed and valued every prayer and even reviewed the printed thread in my hospital bed. It didn't happen instantaneously but, I was healed with prayer and a surgeon so damned good I could have tattooed his name on my arm for saving my life. Let start with one of the fears they perpetuated from the begining. ..... #1 The fear as a parent that you were not doing the word which causes the hedge of protection around your children to be removed. ...... #2 that when your child is old enough to believe on there own TWI will own your teenagers because our teens had already been taught through the years to obey TWI through some of our personal actions. ....... #3 That you or a member of your family could be accused of being possessed by one of them debbil spurts, thus you don't want to ask an honest question about practical or doctrinal use of the word by TWI. ....... #4 fear of seeing yourself or fellow believers in the hot seat in the latter 90s. That was truly scary .... I have been on both ends of this one. Scared for your brethren and scared for yourself. ..... #5 lets not forget that natural ability of plain old human error. Scared of the end result or reproof that was coming, this was opposite of loving the reproof of course. ..... #6 Scared when your phone rings and your LCs number pops up on your caller I.D. .... #7 Scared to tell your LC that you know the truth behind some covered up bologny and you can't put up with it anymore. .......#8 Scared to open your mouth and speak .... #9 Scared to leave TWI and become a Grease Spot ........ but you know its the right thing to do.. and then ..... you think about the hedge of protection you thinking you are leaving behind and you are responsible for your spouse and children in the decision your making. Thinking about those believers who will be hurt when you walk ...... think about those believers you won't be able to protect anymore once you are gone.. thinking of those whom you will miss Digi

Golfie I had not thought about those thank you notes regarding the class. We had to write about what part of the class blessed us most and why. Then the proof reading and editing of the notes came. Then they were sent to HQ and then some of them were printed in The Way Rag for advertising. Also the gift from each area to LCM. Giving a gift to the MOG was so regimented.. Gift giving should be thought thru but jeeze. I believe there must have been a specific list given to the areas and each area told to give a gift and each one would present something from the pre-made list of items the MOG wanted. Thank you notes should come from the heart for something you are truly thankful for. Gifts should also come from the heart and bless both the giver and the receiver. Digi

We were not allowed to fellowship with people whom were not signed up for the class or those who were not participating in fellowship with probablity of taking the class. It all stemmed from LCMs teachings on being Unequally Yoked. We were told to "Wipe the dust off your feet and keep on stepping" when it came to those who did not want to actively participate. There was very little short suffering let alone long suffering in awaiting new comers. My husband and I never held on to the concept of "wipe the dust off your feet...." and we continued to break many rules until eventually we were marked and avoided. I don't know if all people in all areas were told to do the same, but I can tell you this did happen. My husband is sitting here with me recalling these days and remembering this is what we eventually were confronted on when we were put in the HOT seat or JUDGEMENT seat of our peers. We believe loving unconditionally comes from your heart regardless of what you have been instructed to do. We were not corps and were taught this. Digi
