Since the title was not a name, I'm not going with "Sabrina." Another rom-com with Ford? Um, was this "Working Girl", with Melanie Griffith in the title role?

Rachel Weisz Constantine Keanu Reeves

It's entirely possible that he said everything in an SNT that covered one of the pfal subjects, and I'd never have heard it. So, looking for an audiotape that includes it may work.

It IS ROWAN ATKINSON. The chanting at the beginning of each Mr Bean episode is that- a Latin chant that translates to "behold the man who is a bean." "Ecce homo qui est faba." I just found that out the other day, myself. The 2 roles that give it away to Americans are Johnny English (the last name I added) and Mister Bean. He was also in a number of movies in smaller roles- Dexter Heyman was in "Hot Shots Part Deux". Emile Mondavarious, IIRC, was in a Scooby Doo movie, he was the voice of the Lion King's Zasu, and so on. In the UK, he's well-known for playing every generation of "Blackadder" in the show of the same name. He also played the serious title role of Jules Maigret in the series "Maigret." (Mrs Wolf said he did very well in that role, which was surprising if you only know him from comedies.) (You won't know him by name from "Love Actually" as the sales clerk, or a wedding officiant in "Four Weddings and a Funeral", in all likelihood.) Every Christmas and every New Year, I try to watch Mr Bean's scenes of him in Christmas and New Year's, respectively.

IIRC, the Orange Book doesn't have it in print because it wasn't IN the taped PFAL class. I hadn't heard it- which suggests it wasn't in the live class, since I made a fair attempt to memorize it by sitting through it. I read that he HAD said it because I bought TW:LiL and put it on my shelf without reading it. When I read someone criticized him for saying it was the first time I recalled having heard that (after sitting thru pfal a few times.) I was skeptical he HAD said it as such. In pfal, I recall him saying -he'd dedicated his life to God's Word, and saying that -the holy spirit field was what God called him to and that, to me, didn't suggest he was saying he'd heard any audible voice from God Almighty. Lots of us at the local levels sat through pfal, never suspecting he'd claimed he'd heard audibly from God Almighty, and, frankly, the suggestion he'd said it made me uncomfortable as soon as I'd read it. It would have significantly undermined pfal for me if I'd heard it there- so I suspect I didn't simply overlook it several times. A smart con man doesn't put the hook in an obvious place. pfal was the bait, and later came the ridiculous claims. lcm's class failed partly because he mixed his bait- the class- WITH his ridiculous claims. New people saw right away lcm was a nutcase, which killed retention of new people. With everyone expected to take pfal and have the Orange Book, it's not smart con-artistry to put his outrageous claims in either. So, they had Bullinger's work, Stiles' work, and Leonard's work, plus vpw's bad jokes and rambling stories (the homileticist "putting his own personal stamp" on all the plagiarized material, and probably why he partly convinced himself he actually did something with the material. Saying he'd dedicated his life, if sincere, meant he himself made a decision. Saying God called him to something, if sincere, meant he believed God wanted him to work on something long-term. Neither suggests an audible voice from God Almighty. Looking back after knowing he ALSO claimed that- NOW it looks like that's what he was referring to. If you only go by the class, however, you don't get that claim there. That's all as best as I can recall- and that's usually pretty reliable concerning the class' contents.

Oddly enough, he never played The Doctor. He was inspired by Jack Benny- which is why he changed his first name to "Benny" for show business (his last name WAS "Hill.")

Prince Edmund, Duke of Edinburgh Lord Edmund Blackadder Edmund Blackadder Esq Jules Maigret Nigel Small-Fawcett Enrico Pollini Bernard Fripp Dexter Hayman Reverend Walter Goodfellow Inspector Raymond Fowler John English Robert Box "the Doctor"(Dr Who) Dr. Schooner Ron Anderson Mr. Stringer Father Gerald Zazu Mr. James Emile Mondavarious Rufus Reverend Walter Goodfellow Peter Piper / Spider-Plant Man Archbishop of Canterbury Richard Latham "Ecce homo qui est faba." (Don't google that directly, since it will almost certainly link to the answer. This actor would also like to cite his inspirations- Peter Sellers and Mr Hulot.) Read the list slowly, now. I have one last name to post, but it should be obvious, now.

Jon Pertwee was the 3rd Doctor, and is not the answer. Look, the usual list of Drs is: William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul Mc Gann, Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, Jodie Whitaker. Scratch all those names off your list. There were other people who played that character, either as an unnumbered Doctor, audio role, SPOOF, or otherwise.

BTW, some discussion of "Personal Prophecy" turned up here.... -
For those who never looked for the threads on Momentus and Personal Prophecy here (there's a search function, after all), I'm posting 2 links as a public service. The forum "Spirit and Truth Fellowship International" has both threads I'm linking to... "CES and Momentous" and "Step Right Up, get your own personal prophecy." Both have links to at least 1 other discussion at the GSC on their subjects. https://www.greasespotcafe.com/ipb/topic/13316-ces-and-momentous/ https://www.greasespotcafe.com/ipb/topic/12632-step-right-up-get-your-own-personal-prophecy/ BTW, the "Momentus" thread was here: https://www.greasespotcafe.com/ipb/topic/4424-momentus/

for those wondering, here's another link for another thread that discussed personal prophecy, titled Personal Prophecy in the Way and Christian Educational Services. (CES later became STFI, for those who lost track.) https://www.greasespotcafe.com/ipb/topic/6207-personal-prophecy-in-the-way-and-christian-educational-services-ces/

Man, if we had a Brit posting now, this would be so easy. Mrs Wolf, fan of British TV, would have cut me off in the first list.

The answer IS "Iron Man." Clark Gregg appeared in Iron Man, Iron Man 2 and Avengers. Rhodey has been in several movies- but before his 2nd appearance (Iron Man 2), Terrence Howard asked for more money and was bum-rushed out the door and Don Cheadle was rushed in. An awful shame- since TH was one of several actors there who really did look like their role, and he was pretty good in the role and was familiar with Rhodey before he was cast. So, Terrence Howard was in exactly 1 Marvel movie- the one where Clark Gregg was introduced to them.

Agent Coulson was dead at the time, and was not referred to, nor did he appear in any flashback.

If you were really up on your Doctors you'd probably be MORE confused by his inclusion on this list. As a regular poster here, you would have a better chance of that having been a clue. In fact, as a regular typer of your posts, I would think you'd be better-prepared than the average Whovian. It's not Eccleston (nor Tennant, nor Capaldi nor Smith.)

Ok, next film. Paul Bettany Clark Gregg Terrence Howard

Prince Edmund, Duke of Edinburgh Lord Edmund Blackadder Edmund Blackadder Esq Jules Maigret Nigel Small-Fawcett Enrico Pollini Bernard Fripp Dexter Hayman Reverend Walter Goodfellow Inspector Raymond Fowler Robert Box "the Doctor"(Dr Who) I'm trying not to post his 2 most famous movie roles, but you might have gotten it already. I might recognize a few of their songs by the lyrics, but not many. I might have at least guessed the BAND, but I had nothing.

It sounds familiar, but nothing's springing to mind right now.

It's useful when I visit the US, which isn't often. Locally, Siffie has been airing TNG for some time, which I appreciate. I hope they follow it up with DS9 or Voyager, or even "Enterprise." I'm ok if they air TOS, for that matter.

Ok, answered my own question using your previous answer. :)
