  1. 2Life- I am using this as one of 5 climbs to cap off my career before I retire. I always want to go out on top.
  2. Thanks 2Life that is an accomplishment I have always been proud of. Switzerland! I'm looking to go there next year.I am planning on climbing the Eiger North Face Harlin Route next spring. If you perhaps get to see it would you EMail me a picture of the face? I am having a tough time getting a current picture of it. I hope you have a great time out there.
  3. I liked that shirt, the program was wierd but the shirt was nice. I think I still have mine but I don't think it fits anymore (Besides I have so many T Shirts my wife keeps sneaking them out and giving them to a local charity) When I went to BLEAD I was told I was too arrogant and when it came to climbing I had no humility. I was also told that if I didn't get humble I would wash up in the Corpse. I was told how little I knew and how much the higher up BLEAD staff knew. geez I was an idiot Oh. in 1993 I placed 30th in the World Cup Climbing Competitions which gave me a US ranking of 30th and a World ranking of 60th- maybe if I listened to the BLEAD staffers I would have done better?
  4. I was involved in one of these at a company management mtg I went to a number of years ago. WOW they are a blast. The one I was involved with was like an Agatha Christie Mystery. I hope you have alot of fun Speaking of the 10 commandments - Lust is my favorite of the seven deadly sins
  5. Somebody help me please, I thought I was reading a thread about growing up in twi. Do I have some wierd computer virus that has sent me over to a racism thread? If so.. would someone please tell me how to get back to the thread I was intending on reading
  6. I chose Out There because with my job (I'm a climber) thats where I am most of the time - Out There. Whenever you don't see me post its because I am Out There

Hey 11th. Yesterday was the 22nd anniversary of our graduation. I miss you all
  8. I have to change my weight from time to time for work. If I do a high altitude climb I have to gain, When I am guiding or doing short climbs I need my weight low. I generally have a 30 lbs range and it works simply like this. I measure my daily activity vs. caloric intake. If I am burning 4500 calories a day and wish to maintain I check my intake and keep it around 4500. I still eat a balanced diet but keep it in moderation. There are also some "protein bars" that I like to use that aree made by Melaluca Co. They are designed to cause your body to burn fats before burning muscle. Even when I am in a weight gaining mode I still eat these things (along with as much as a Quart of Ice Cream a day) I think I have a predisposition to being a light weight. Caffeine seems to have a negative affect and causes your body to store fats and burn muscle so I suggest staying away from it. No matter what realize that we are all getting older. 10 years ago if I took my shirt off you saw a nice six pack. Now I take it off and you'll see a case.
  9. This is no fair. When I opened the thread I was assuming I would get to see the advantages of Coca Cola over Oxygenated water but no,, Your intention was to see if you could draw me into a projectile vomiting contest. Lets see if I read any of your non-descript threads anymore
  10. Yesterday I was painting and got some paint in my ear. My wife put her finger in my ear to get it out. Trust me, I like sex better than a finger in my ear
  11. Reikilady: You deserve my praise, kudos for an 18 years well done
  12. Hey Napkinlady - how so you send a self addressed, stamped envelope by Email? I have a few packages I need to mail, Is there a way to send them Email? Getting back on topic, Back in the late 80's I worked as an Investment Banker for a few years. If debt was handled as TWI thinks it should be our economy would probably be a little worse than your average third world nation. Over 99.999% of the American public carries a debt load equal to or exceeding 7 months of personal earned income. Remember the Way Credit Union? I remember they used to make loans available to believers. I once was going to refinance a car through them but the savings wasn't worth the hassle.
  13. Careful Vickles - You may just have handed over super secret plan for church growth to the WayGB
  14. Out and About - You story is out of this world. Its my wish for you that life always gets better from this day on. I'm sure we met before. Every year at the ROA the only job I was allowed to perform was trash. I am sure we threw some bags in the back of the truck together.

Last I heard Paul was working in his families Diamond Mines in South Africa. Drives a mercedes with a Mercedes with a pistol always close by. (Pauls family was always well off)
  16. My Good friend and climbing partner is a Public TV Producer. He last year did a documentary on Aushwitz. From his view there was no way this could not have happened. There was no lieing involved and the horrors of the camp were worse than what the public has ever been told. all TWI did by denying that the holocaust ever happened was to dishonor those whose lives were lost at the hands of the nazis. After what was told to me I have nothing but respect for the people whom the holocaust affected. Did anyone ever stop to think of how many heros there were during the time of the concentation camps. There were many who laid down thier lives for others. It was a time a tragedy and a time of heroism. They should get our honor and respect

HELLO 11th Corpuscles. Just checking in and saying hi to anyone out there
  18. When I first saw Loy come out in his tights I thought it was supposed to be a comedy but wasn't 100% sure so I had to hold back my laughter. What was funnier though was the announcer MV (also known in some circles as El Shaddai) talking about standing erect before the bema while watching Loy (The big Pr!@k) standing tall - That spoke to me
  19. I really feel bad for those who want to get out but feel there is no place to go. is there some sort of thing in place that can help those who leave?
  20. I probably won't believe any of this until someone produces a picture of Rosie stepping out of a champagne color Lincoln town car, wearing a a long fox fur coat. a pair of black leather gloves and a felt derby hat. I would also think the pic would have acouple of her bitches hanging out of the car also

Hi Patti- Where are you going in WA? I've been wanting to get out there and go up a few peaks with a friend of mine but we never seem to find the time to go. I'm glad you found your old pal Camilla. Its always nice to find an old friend here and there. I've found a couple through these forums. Hey, whenever I fly I look at Expedia. cheaptickets and priceline. I always seem to get a really good deal through them as long as I check all three.
  22. The Boy Scouts have a scout law with twelve points to it (Trustworthy loyal helpful friendly courteous kind obediant cheerful thrifty brave clean reverent) He doesn't measure up to any of these

Iwas just reading the post on Dr. Phil in the open forum and it brought back a hysterical memory. Do you remember when we had to watch the werewille home movies during Christian family with the emphasis on sex class? I will never forget how quiet the room was while we were being shown the porno flicks when suddenly some young gal says "WOW!" I can't tell you what that did to me. I walked out of that meeting that night and I told God .. Hahahahaha....... I guess you had to be there.
