The website says that the auditorium was filled and that nearly 5,000 more called in to listen to the service from 15 countries (international countries, nonetheless). It also says that they have 50 departments at the Ohio location. Why would you need 50 departments for such a small outfit? I couldn't find anything about the snow storm on the website. I wonder why they don't put that on there?

It would be nice if TWI would be shut down because of so many lawsuits. If they settlements don't kill them their own lawyer fees should. Do you think TWI's lawyers laugh all the way to the bank because of the stupid little cult they get paid to protect?

TWI was in debt several times. Since they aren't accountable to anyone for their finances they may even still be in debt for all we know. More and more WC will probably start realizing that they don't have anything to help them have a nice, comfortable retirement and will try to get assignments that will allow them to start building for retirement and college educations. The future can be scary if you don't have enough money tucked away. If you don't buy a house you will need to have a lot of money tucked away and TWI's retirement plan is so pathetic that they won't have enough money to live on when TWI kicks them out of the nest.

Hi Abigail, Sudsy ammonia works well and there's a product called "The Eliminator" sold at vets that got cat spray smell out of my carpet. (I figure if it can get rid of that nasty smell it'll work on anything). Since the dogs don't hang out in the boys' bedroom I would recommend feeding them there a few times. It might not work though. It didn't with one of our dogs we had that problem with. Another option would be to go back to puppy training steps with the dogs. Take them out every few hours and immediately after eating. Keep them outside until they do their stuff and then treat them and praise them like they just did the most marvelous trick in the world. Since you've had them a while you may be pretty familiar with when they usually have to go, so you could try taking them out at those times. I hope you find what works for you.

We take turns playing host/hostess at the table and sing roll away as we pass our plates at the end of the meal. We have stockpiles of MREs and rice and beans. We also have obscene amounts of emergency items stored with the inventory of our home which we do every year since 1999, not because we're scared, but because we plan for the worst and believe for the best. We find someone in authority who is completely ignorant about an issue that's really important to our lives and ask them what they think we should before making a decision. We rake our carpet after we vacume. Can you sneak little black pepper packages from fast food joints into meals at HQ? Would someone at the table turn you in? They might allow people to use black pepper if they are blessed to now, but it is probably strongly suggested that they don't.

I remember Craig teaching that the gay supporter rainbows are devilish because they only show 6 colors of the rainbow when it really has a Godly 7 colors. Isn't one of those colors invisible to the naked eye? I've tried to count them several times and I only see 6 or many more than 7 depending on how they "blend".

Yes there are lots of reasons to leave TWI. The problem is with traditional sold-out wayfers you can't use the sins of the fathers as reasons to leave. They will agree that maybe some things were bad but we're in a new administration and you have to give them a chance because they are trying to fix things. You can't bring up personal accounts from here at the GSpot because you aren't supposed to be on the internet looking at anti-TWI material. Mentioning that you got your information from such a site would stop the conversation cold and get you M&A and cut off from your family so fast your head would spin. The plagerism is hard to prove without using the internet too. It's not something you would just happen upon in your regular studies. The best arguments are pointing out the micro-management and none of your business meddling of the leadership. Also finding the inconsistencies and doctrinal errors during regular study time. The problem is that this takes a long time and has to build. Some of these errors which seem so glaringly obvious when you are not blinded by way-brain are more obscure when you can't see straight. Die hard wayfers will also resist any attempt to prove that error is being taught. They justify or minimize it so easily and defensively that you have to tread lightly to prevent the relationship from crumbling. It's a very delicate, volatile situation to be in. Those who want to keep their families safe from the attacks of TWI have a very fine line to walk. It just isn't as easy as some people seem to think it is.

How about the people we were told loved their houses more than GOD because they wouldn't sell their homes? These people have solid retirement accounts, mostly paid for homes and are sitting pretty regarding the future while they look at those vacation photos, pack te kids for college and listen to the fruits of those piano lessons. What do the WC have? Worse yet - what do we have for listening to them?

"By their works ye shall know them" What works does TWI do?? They don't help the poor. They don't work in soup kitchens. They don't volunteer for human societies. They don't donate blook. They don't belong to any charities. They forbid their people to give to any charities (designer causes). Heck, they don't even help their own!! I heard about one BC who left one of his people IN JAIL FOR DAYS! The whole reason this person was in jail was a horrible mis-understanding and they SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THERE. The poor person called the BC because they just knew they could count on their own leadership to help them out. The BC asked if they didn't have any FAMILY they could call....well, NO, not after TWI teaches you to abandon your family if they won't take the class! No one else in the branch knew about out and the ones who did were told by the BC that he was taking care of it. Yeah, by letting the poor person rot in jail. Some way to take care of your flock, huh? After the person got out, the RC saw this person at a meeting and not once said a word to them about the situation or asked how they were doing. Horrible, horrible people. They don't do any good works. They don't do anything good for anyone but their own bellies.

If you've been a very good follower of TWI then most all of this will be a surprise and possibly quite shocking. Many doctrines of TWI, when seen with glasses off are exposed as completely wrong. There are many articles on the front page and much information in the threads. If you're looking for information on something specific, please let us know and we will gladly point you in the right direction. If you're in the mood to attack be forewarned that many of us have first hand experiences that aren't so nice and will most likely choose 'fight' over 'flight'. Craig taught that the midwives lied saying the children were born faster than they could kill them or something like that. He often justified lying. But I think he mentioned that they had revelation to lie. Has anyone had revelation to lie? I think knowing what I know now, Craig used these teachings as leverage to get what he wanted from others.
