I've heard some claims similar that heal in similar ways as him. Those ones are fake....I would assume he is too.

Saw your pic, howard...I do remember you. Rochelle was cute, funny, and young. That is what I remember about her.
-
Long Gone, I agree, I mean do I think that I hear a noise at the door and think that it is someone I've tangled with in the past? ANd look, it says someone. It doesn't say somebody. That means she has tangled with more than one person. Some people live for the attention, huh?
-
and, if she has a daughter the same age as these girls she isn't a dear poor old lady, did ya think of that?
-
MJ have you not lived in the country before or are you just out of touch with reality? Maybe you've become so hardened in life that you can't see any good in people?
-
I do agree that what you wrote about the experience and about rochelle was very well done. I also agree with satori.

gawd, please, someone from twi would you please invite oldies???? Please, pretty please with sugar on top?.....
-
sorry mistake
-
Oldies, you have been invited by a couple of people here...make that three...you are invited to go to a twi twig...there is that official?.... :P-->

I thank you catcup, very well written. Not all kids are bad. Whats amazing is that the old lady was offered to have her medical bills paid and she refused. This is why I think she was in it for the money.

HCW, I think your heart is in the right place but I feel that maybe you have misunderstood satori's actions...he does write rather abrutly I must admit but everything he has said I do agree with.
-
would make you the better person for it.

Sometimes the best way is to let it go...no one has to be right or wrong. No one has to have the last word.

I just got back from court. I was picked as a juror but only lasted for the day...that I can handle. It was all very interesting even though it was kind of stupid of the guy to fight his ticket. He went past a school bus with the red lights going and the stop arm out. He says he was afraid the person behind him was going to run into him even though the car was about three footballs behind him. It was a no brainer... --> But, it was interesting to see how it works behind the scenes. I now have respect for jurors. I still am on call for another three weeks. Most of the people that were called was there second time being called in for the two months. So I may be called again.

gawd, catcup and satori, can you take your arguments elsewhere? I don't think what your fighting about has anything to do with this thread. Can you PM each other or start a new thread? Maybe a new thread called, inhouse fighting?.. ;)-->

and 900 dollars for just an anxiety attack? I guess they had to do tests since she thought she was having a heart attack. If she was out to get money I even doubt she had some kind of attack.

I know this was a thread a couple of years ago but now we have some different people in gs I thought it would be interesting. I have to go to jury duty tomorrow for the first time. They pay only 12.50 a day and my place of employment does not pay.. Hoping that I will be there just that day and somehow they don't pick me....but knowing my luck I will be there for while. How does one dress for being in a jury? Maybe I should look a little on the shady side...huh? But those that know me personally know that no matter how I dress I could not get away with it..... :D--> I could try to look skanky.... ;)--> Just kidding. What have your experiences been?

Well, it sure does sound like this woman was in it for the money, hmm? Its too bad that there are people out there that want to ruin what people do for the good for their own purposes...sounds familiar, doesn't it?
-
I don't understand why it is said some say they were in these programs when they weren't...its almost saying that all of us are lying? I think sometimes they do come in 'innocent' and then start putting things together and it all makes sense. Are you saying that we can't have an opinion?
-
if bad things didn't happen to you in twi....
vickles replied to excathedra's topic in About The Way
Its hard for me to answer the first question since I did encounter bad things. But from what I think is that even if they didn't encounter the really bad things they were affected in other ways, just different from ours. And sometimes the ones that said they didn't encounter some things are in denial because we believed that this was the one true ministry. Its hard for them to realize that they were deceived like the rest of us. If I used the bible as my premise, I would hurt with you, cry with you, and rejoice with you. I try to look at things logically. My spiritual side sometimes can be lacking because sometimes I don't trust my instincts sometimes on that side. My thinking is if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and acts like a duck then chances are it is a duck....if you get my drift. I was a teen when I got into twi. I was vulnerable and looking for answers and love. The trustees, yes they were much older and they used our vulnerabiltiy to woo us in. I don't believe they were innocent in what they were doing. They knew. I blame the people that knew what they were doing. Maybe the adversary had something to do with it, but the people were the hands and feet. They are the ones that were doing it. It was their decision for whatever reason. -
>>>>>>>>>>>From Satori>>>>>>>>Some here may be relatively new to this site, and therefore this idea. There are some recommended books on the this topic. Reading one or two, one may be in a better position to judge the circumstances of the LEAD 104 incident from a more critical, if at first counter-intuitive, perspective. Some of us are getting our first, close look, but you may need to step back a bit more than you have yet. You've come a long way since your days in TWI, and you've obviously led a commendable life since, but some of the things you've written suggest to me that you haven't sorted through some of the TWI baggage we all took away with us. Hopefully lurkers, visitors and newcomers to Greasespot will find the time and inclination to review and reflect upon the resources here - the experiences of others, and recommended books on the topic of cult behavior, and then draw their own best conclusions.>>>>>>>>>> HCW, I don't think satori was suggesting anything personal to you. Its only what he perceives from you. I don't think it was meant as an insult...only to help. I sometimes get that feeling to from you, but then I'm still working on some issues myself...I think most of us here are. What I got from this post about the reading of the books was directed to the new people coming to this site. Sometimes, when we are sensitive to some areas its easy to take things a little personal. I do it myself. I don't think anyone is trying to get you upset, howard....I for one and I know a lot of others admire you for speaking up here. From what I can see from your posts that you are a good man. I think I like the sound of your church. What kind of church is it?

HCW, am I perceiving that you feel that somehow the accident was somehow your fault also? You know, it wasn't. He waited for you to be last. You agreed. If you hadn't then you would have been in the back of the pick up and someone else would have been in the cab and he would have been giving that other person his eval. So you see? It probably would have happened anyways.
