George, you are not old!!!! Ok, so you can barely walk or remember things. Everything is going to gravity. Thats the fun of living in the twilight years..... My words of wisdom here is.....you make what you want out of life. If you think this is it and nothing will be happy again then so be it. I know I started a relationship later in life and I don't really believe in "love" like the romance novels but I do beleive that you can have a best friend and companion. And I have to say that not everything is about good sex either. Or beauty. As we get older who cares if someone is good looking or not? (well, I wouldn't want someone that slobbers all over the place though either....hehe) Its whats on the inside of that person that is so important. When I divorced and was alone for a couple of years I hated to be by myself. I tried everything to have people around me. And always felt like the fifth wheel, until I started really getting to know me for me. What did I want out of this life? Then I started enjoying being by myself. And that is when I met Bob. The most kind and generous person I know. We were just friends at first. Never thought it would turn to love. But it was a growing love. I don't think I would have appreciated him if I didn't have that growing and alone time. Take it as a learning time. But, George it can get better!!!!!

Since I'm now living in Colorado I thought I would bring this to the top. Interesting to see who would be in this area. Love this 60-70 degree weather. I'm so glad to be out of Minnesota.....

Wow Jim, that is pretty great!!! I love that show. Too bad he wasn't all that interested. It would have been great to hear more about him. But I guess it goes along with show biz.

I'm thankful for my pretty little house, Bob, my children and at last to find out what happiness is all about in my fifties..... :o I'm very thankful to find that happiness and pray that others do also. I used to think it was about what I had. I had to have a beautiful big house and lots of money but now I find its about love, family, a roof over our heads and food to eat. What more could we want?

Hey Tom, I'm actually getting a tan all over if you know what I mean... I still love it here. It is ssssoooo beautiful!!!!! And warm!!!!!!! My ID still hasn't shown up. UGH... Thank goodness for mothers. She is sending me my birth certificate to start all over.

Thanks!!! Its so breath taking beautiful here. I've never seen the skies so blue. They say its because of the altitude. The weather has been in the seventies. I noticed that Minnesota had snow today..... So glad I'm not there. Ha!! The people are very friendly. I think I'm starting to enjoy the job. Lots of politics going on but hey what office job is there without it? We love our new house. We bought it site unseen. We had a friend look at it before we bought it. We totally made the right decision. Ok now about getting married. I was suppose to get married November 15th. But guess what? I lost all my ID on the trip. I have no idea what happened to it. So now we will have to wait until I can get some proper ID. Now after all this time of waiting for him to propose and I don't have ID. I just don't get it. LOL

I'm trying to add a pic so we shall se how this turns out. This is my wolf dog after he ran away on the trip. As you can see he was pretty tired.

Well you know Froggy, he comes first in my life. He is very good to me and I couldn't leave him behind. He sat on my right shoulder the whole time....

OMG Excie I hate to say this but you sure are looking frumpy lately. And here I pictured you a sexy redhead and then this. How disappointing. I met someone years ago at International that looked just like that but younger. I didn't like her too much. Thanks so much all!!! We arrived here in Colorado. We were up 30 hours straight. How in the world did we drive to the Rock every year? I had a little Dodge neon that had my son in the front seat with the 2 shih zu's and my wolf dog had the back seat. I got a sedative for the big one (which btw did not work at all!!!! ), he did not like being in that back seat one iota. The little ones were probably too dumb to realize where we are...... (just kidding, Dot). I got a transfer for work and was my first day here and hate it. I will be looking for other work....wha wha!!!! Our house is so cute and Bob's high school old buddy friends are so nice. And the skies are bluer than I have ever seen. It is so warm and so different from Minnesota. We made it safe and sound!!!! My dear friend, excie, Just kidding.....

Yes, it is true. We are leaving tuesday. I even got a transfer from work to move there and bought a house.

Well you all have me there. I guess I will still have to grin and bear it..... I have two males in my life, and one (who is my son) loves football. Where we are moving to there is a football field for the city about three blocks away. I guess high school football won't be so bad....

That would be interesting...vacuum nakee out side at a Texas BBQ. Are you sure its just a BBQ? It sounds kind of like Hippy Hollow to me in Austin. I wouldn't mind going to a nudist colony. Thanks for the response on my paper. I enjoyed writing it and I did get a 100 % on my paper with a thank you note from my professor. He was the hardest professor I have ever had and at the end to grade my last paper with the 100% was quite an honor.
