David, I enjoyed those pics. It looks that way here too. My front yard is way over my head. I wish I had a camera and be able to put them on here. My little dogs are having problems finding places to do their business.... I was excited to find the real blue skies today but went out and its bitterly cold along with the high snow drifts.

Hey, I figured it was that time of year again and since we had a major snowstorm yesterday wanted to see how all us minnesotans did. I for one had to be at work at 5am so trudged out at 330 am. The roads had not been done yet so had one of my trustworthy jeeps out there. When I went to get out to the jeep the snow drifts were practically to my hips....I'm not kidding!!!! I had about 15 miles of driving to do and was hoping the drunks had all gotten home before me. It took me an hour of driving but I got there perfectly safe. Most of my other co-workers either copped out of working or were late....sigh How is everyone else doing?

Jonny I will miss the little disagreements and shared agreements we have had through time. I want to tell you that the monkey deal was rather funny but I opened it up in the library and nearly had a heart attack... I'm so happy that things are going well for you and your family. Its sometimes a great thing to leave greasespot to get life into perspective if you feel that its become more than it is. I've left a couple times myself but seem to come back every once in a while to check in and to read up on everyone. I find I don't miss much as most everything stays the same it seems. Please let us know or you can e-mail me every once in a while to let us know how your doing. You will be missed. If you want to go to another place thats freezing you and your family are invited here to minnesota. My family will take your family ice fishing.

Ok all, I have to really laugh here because if you truly knew me you would know I'm not a swinger myself. What I am responding to is if a couple wants to live that life as a swinger and no one gets hurt then who am I to judge? Now the nude thing I wouldn't mind that. I do love to vaccuum nakee!!!!!

Look I'm sorry that happened to you but it doesn't make this subject right or wrong. There is a line to everything in life. All I'm saying is that it may be wrong for you but someone else may be within the line and its ok. You have your opinion I have mine. All I meant to say is lets lighten up and not be so judgmental. Your parents were out of line but that doesn't mean that all swingers are like your parents.

Well I have to say this is an interesting subject. I think couples have a right to choose what lifestyle they want. I totally agree with lindyhopper. This is a personal decision as a couple. Who is to say what is right or wrong. It may gross certain individuals out but its still their right to do what they want. Ok I'm going to say this and come what may....... Lighten up and have fun... Where is the spanking going on? Oops wrong subject....

Linda I experience the same thing. Every day I still crave a cig. Although now if I'm with someone that did smoke the smell is horrendous. Did I really smell that way myself? I feel that its a moment to moment decision that I have to make. I also have to remind myself how much money I'm saving and how good I smell....lol

Oh Psalmie, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I have been there myself and its not easy but remember that you gave your love to this kitty that most people would not have given. You gave this special kitty the love that it needed during life.

What happened to Dave and L0l@ P@atters0n? I thought they were pretty high up there? It looks like too many leaders and not enough followers.

I've seen Jeff on occasion in the chat room here in gs cafe. He does visit every now and then.

Sorry I've been off line for a couple of days. Geo, Hey we have a lot in common. They seem to be attracted to me. I think of it as a shedding dog and I get the leftover fur. :blink: If you remember when twi was huge Wow's went to the little teeny weeny towns. It would be a whole lot smarter to go to the big cities. When I was in Ohio near headquarters we were always going to those little towns to help the Wow's out because of the towns not liking them. I miss the rain...... :(

Geo, I know you know seattle like the back of your hand and I'm wondering if University Place is off of University Ave by the College. That would be more logical to go than towards Tacoma if your aiming at young people again.....But then logic is not one of twi's strong points, now is it???? Belle, Seattle doesn't get that cold like in Michigan but you do need a coat during the winter time. It does rain a lot there. Now that I live in Minnesota I appreciate the weather more in Seattle because it does get ssssooooo cold here. I laugh at these people because they get so depressed when it rains. I feel like dancing.....

Sounds like Mr Rogers to me. He lived in a wonderful neighborhood.

Stewartville MN is off of I-90. Through the years of traveling back and forth from New Knoxville to Seattle Washington (about 15 years if it) we found that I-90 was the best way to go. I-94 always had awful detours to follow and I-90 was Interstate most of the way. Hey is there actually a Greasespot bumper sticker? Too bad I didn't have one of those...it might have gotten interesting. Or they would have run.....

I had no idea that it changed. I guess since there is no longer a ROA there is no need to send them out in August anymore. Good thinking... Now kids can be late to sign up for school. Oh yeah, TWI doesn't think about kids..

Thats about right, Belle. I think. There were a lot of hours and many years of traveling from New Knoxville to Washington State and it took days to get there. So my guess is its about right. Dear David. I never thought you would respond. I was thinking maybe they were off to the cities after it was posted about a twi sight that was Bill Standfords. Like trying to get things back into control.... But nada, I guess we didn't do too much damage....

Well to get to Washington state you do go through Minnesota. But they went a little off course as there is a truck stop right at I-90. Why so late in the year?

Wow, that picture is pretty scary About the same as being surrounded... lol My son is 16 years old now and have heard all the stories. I realized that the stories he has heard most likely is the most negative. He probably almost had heart failure to be surrounded like that. No wonder he locked the doors....No one was going to talk him about going in a cult...no way jose... I was rather surprised at my own reaction since I hadn't been around anyone from twi for over 20 years. I'm now trying to figure out if its starting to rise up. Maybe their doing the Minnesota Harvest movement like they did in the 70's. BTW, where did you find a picture like that?

I was minding my own business about ready to pump gas at a gas station/convience store when a bunch of cars pulled up surrounding me. First I notice a couple of good looking young men smiling at me in one of the cars. I thought what nice engaging young kids these are. The one guy gets out and has a notebook in his arms or what we used to call a syllabus. It had bold words in green saying THE WAY across it. I take a look at the cars surrounding me and they are from all different parts of the country.....Florida, Ohio, Illnois...etc. I notice the cars have green bumper stickers on the back of their cars and all of them read THE WAY and something about a biblical research thing. My son calls from the other side of the jeep and runs to me screaming its 'The Way'. I told him yes it is go back in the car, trying to look non excited. We were in a small town called Stewartville Minnesota. It looked like they were traveling north on Hwy 63. Now where were they going? What were they doing? And why the heck did they not witness to me????? My son says one girl was starting towards him but he clicked the locks on and she walked away. I guess I'm too old. One person payed for all of them. When I went in the cashiers were talking about how weird it was to have all them cars get gas and only one person pay for all of them. Now is this strange? I thought twi was falling? Is there a renewal? Are they doing the Minnesota thing like so many years ago? All these questions. I did get a kick out of all these twi people. Most of them were young and so exicted. Just like I was in the 70's. They all looked so clean cut and looked very geeky to me. LOL What do you all think???????? Weird!!!! :blink:
