  1. I'm not too sure about that. I'd like to see the original script, which is sort of the director's blueprint for the film. Show me the blueprint. Show me the blueprint. Show me the blueprint. Show me the blueprint. Show me the blueprint. Show me the blueprint. Show me the blueprint.
  2. Hurricane Pittsburgh, from what I'm hearing.
  3. I totally understand that: but there's a difference between something being available and that same thing being posted on a message board, as I'm sure you'd agree. My information is publicly accessible, to the best of my knowledge, and I do not hide it. But I also would not like to see you (or them) take it upon themselves to post my home address and telephone number on their pro-Way board. Point was made: glad we're ultimately in agreement.
  4. From the sidelines, this is a tough call: though I see Oldiesman's point (it was an insult, hands down, no other way to read it, imo), I don't know if it was true or not because HCW (welcome, by the way) was there and I was not. It seems that his opinion was formed over time, not through second or thirdhand accounts. Might be interesting to know if HCW is a Geerite, only because what he said jibes with what POP said about Don. In the end, I put this in the "I don't get a vote" category. From what I know of the surviving Wierwille children, they're great folks and I pray they are all doing well.

    Divine Humor

My step dad went the same way. From "I don't feel so good" to not feeling a thing in about no time flat.
  6. I used to rag my innie boss whenever he said "works like a charm." "Charms don't work!" was my retort. :)-->
  7. John, With all due respect, you didn't get a vote either. I'm glad you came around on this subject; don't get me wrong. But we've heard enough from people with firsthand knowledge to know what the truth is, here. So has he. His decision not to believe the firsthand accounts of people who were there is his business, but he is not the accused, so I for one don't give a rat's patootie whether he says he's open to being proven wrong. And while I'm happy you came around, I wish you had listened to the firsthand accounts of people who were telling the truth rather than the secondhand account of a Rev. you trusted.
  8. How noble. Here's a note to him on that subject: YOU DON'T GET A VOTE. Neither do I for that matter. The only people who get a vote are those who had to be subjected to his lecherous advances and abuses.
  9. Billy Graham... not even in an elevator! True story. I use that principle in class. I will not allow any female student to be in a classroom with me unless other people are present, and not in the office unless the door is wide open and nothing stands between her and the exit.
  10. I got taken in by this one... http://www.snopes.com/photos/tsunami/tsunami1.asp
  11. I think about 30 of these fit me. Jekyll and Hyde. Ethnix (I hate to admit it, but it describes me on some occasions. Three that I can think of). Ideologue. Tireless Rebutter. Duelist.

    Another GS Wedding?

I just want to know if the maid of honor is single. :D--> Congrats!
  14. Hairy and I agree. Must be a bad link. :)-->
  15. Heh heh heh. I see a trademark infringement suit coming on... Maybe. [Much later edit, but I wanted to add this... I honestly did not know that this guy really was with the TWI we all know and lo--- the TWI we all know. I thought it was a coincidental name similarity. Mea culpa].
  16. The Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts I never saw these when they aired, but they're all very funny and remarkably clean (they aired on NBC, so no profanity). Great stuff.
  17. Dreadful film. I'm with you on this one.
  18. Dear Mr. Durbin: Bring it on. rafael@livingepistlessociety.org
  19. :)--> You are correct. I added the line about him not being able to change the channel. Which means, as frightening as it sounds, the line about him only doing paid interviews was true!
  20. :)--> I posted that story on another thread, and asked people to figure out which line I added. The thread is on Warning Labels, I think.

    Hi!

Munching on pineapple pizza is like gulping dry water. Can't be done, because it doesn't exist.
  22. Sort of. But that's like saying Dr. No was a sequel to Casino Royale. Which is to say, the Scarlet Pimpernel was a series of books turned into movies. The first novel was also turned into a musical. They used the same source material. Same with Phantom, by the way. It was a novel turned into many movies, then later into a musical, and now the musical has been made into a movie... Wait a minute, you were messing with me, weren't you? George Aargh!
