Okay, fine. I admit not to have seen it in the theaters, but I assumed that a recent movie starring Luke Wilson would have been seen by somebody. It's "Idiocracy." The premise is that, with no natural predators, mankind's evolution will not generate smarter people (they tend to talk themselves out of having babies), but rather morons who procreate with anything that moves. An average Joe (Wilson) is put in suspended animation. The project is supposed to go for one year, but the funding is cut, and he doesn't get out for 500 years, at which point he's the smartest man in the world. I wouldn't recommend spending $8 to see it, but it's a fun movie. NetFlix it, or something.

New movie:

"I love my wife, but it's like living with a plague of locusts."

"What these books have conclusively proven is that the diffence between men and women is exactly 38 pages."

"Can I quote you, Mark?"

"Not before I quote me."

"Did you hear the market dropped 30 points today. There's a rumor Eisenhower died."

"How could they tell?"

"Oh, please. Don't get Dorothy started on politics. There'll be a raid."

"You know why they call them Indians? Because Columbus thought he was in India. They're "Indians" because some white guy got lost."

"I love my wife, but it's like living with a plague of locusts."

Sorry: been stunningly busy lately.

Hmm....

"So, I heard you turned 80 today."

"Is that what you heard?"

"Yeah. Man, that's really old."

"You should meet my father."

"Your father's still alive?"

"No, but you should meet him."

"A canoe! Just like the Indians used."

"Actually, the Indians used a different grade of aluminium."

Finally!!! Somebody hit one of mine.

"On Golden Pond"

I actually saw the play first. As for the movie, Henry Fonda was a shoe-in for the best actor Oscar, for sentimental reasons plus, IMO, wonderful acting.

It wont be long but have to think of mine.

If I wait for confirmation, I might wait forever for stunningly busy Raf! :biglaugh: So I will riskt eh penalty, whatever that is, if I'm wrong. though I'm not.
