Recent movie. Cute, but didn't do too well at the box office,

"Say 'I'd rather have a chainsaw shoved up my a$$ than tell.'"

"Is that a possibility?"

"Say it!"

"Ok. I'd rather have a chainsaw shoved up my a$$ than tell."

"I'm not going to help you kill her!"

"Kill? I didn't say "kill"! I said "neutralize"! It's a neutral word... like Switzerland!"

"Why did G-Girl throw a shark at us?! She looked really ....ed! Did you do something to make her mad?"

"You're doing well. Your brother would have shot himself by now."

***

"The lady and I were trying to dance."

"You were trying. She was succeeding."

***

"I would have killed him."

"No, not today. He is trained to kill. You seem trained to drink. Oh, yes, my friend, you would have fought very bravely, and died very quickly..."

"I've never lost a fight."

"Except to a crippled old man just now."

"I have broken the fourth commandment, padre."

"You killed somebody?"

"No, that is not the fourth commandment."

"Of course not. Tell me, in what way did you break the most sacred of commandments."

"I dishonored my father."

"That is not so bad. Maybe your father deserved it."

"What?"

"I said, tell me more, my child."

"You're doing well. Your brother would have shot himself by now."

Capt. Harrison Love taunts Zorro (Alejandro Murrieta). Earlier in the movie, Love had Murrieta's brother (Joaquin) surrounded. The brother shot himself rather than submit to the execution he knew was coming. Interesting historical fact: There really was a Joaquin Murrieta, and he really was a thief. And he really was killed by Capt. Harry Love.

***

"The lady and I were trying to dance."

"You were trying. She was succeeding."

"Don Alejandro" cuts in on a dance between Love and Elena Montero (de la Vega, though she doesn't know it).

"I've never lost a fight."

"Except to a crippled old man just now."

Brilliant exchange at the initial meeting of Diego de la Vega and the very drunk Alejandro, who was ill-advisedly charging toward Love until Diego stopped him.

Alejandro hides out in a confessional booth, unaware that Elena is waiting to make a confession. She figures he's the priest, so she starts confessing.

Actually, I remembered "You were trying, she was succeeding."

That and "Pointy end goes into the other guy" are the quotes I can rattle off from it.

========

Ok, next movie.

"You exemplify a fine new crop of young Americans who will grow into the leaders of this great country."

" This desert is stupid. They should put a drinking fountain out here. "

"Hey Baby. Are we gonna do it?"

"You have 2 seconds."

"Uh, is that gonna be enough time?"

" I'm sorry, how many Hail-Marys?"

"A thousand! And I want you to hit yourself! Right now!"

"Um, now?"

"Yes, do it!"

"Agent Hurley, I want you to give this scumbag a cavity search! I'm talking Roto-Rooter! Don't stop until you reach the back of his teeth!"

"Are you threatening ME?"

"It's so nice to meet young men who are so well-mannered."

Well, I haven't seen it, but Raf's interjection, along with the calibre of humor in the clues, compels me to guess "Beavis and Butthead do America." (or whatever it was called).

George

Correct!

I particularly like that there's a few quotes that say what fine young gentlemen they are....

Go, George.

"There are over 550 million firearms in worldwide circulation. That's one firearm for every twelve people on the planet. The only question is: How do we arm the other 11?"

"Can you bring me the gun of Rambo?"

"Part One, Two, or Three?"

"I've only seen Part One."

"It's amusing that the roast beef is the same price as an Oldsmobile."

"I love you too... Rosenthal."

"A man should be treated better than his luggage."

"Yeah, well, my luggage was sucked out the door. Luckily my radio is frozen to my wrist."

"You're a phony. You're a phony. Yes, you are! And you know what, you can't even sing. Your voice was dubbed."

" What are you doing here?"

"A very brief cameo."

"Me too."

"Maybe we could jump PARTWAY."
