You gotta understand something,

Winston. I want to help you guys

out and all, but that's my best

linen. It was a wedding present

from my Uncle Conrad and Aunt

Ginny, and they ain't with us

anymore --

-- let me ask you a question, if

you don't mind?

Sure.

Were you Uncle Conrad and Aunt

Ginny millionaires?

No.

No.

Well, your Uncle Marsellus is. And

I'm positive if Uncle Conrad and

Aunt Ginny were millionaires, they

would've furnished you with a whole

bedroom set, which your Uncle

Marsellus is more than happy to do.

(takes out a roll of

bills)

I like oak myself, that's what's in

my bedroom. How 'bout you Jimmie,

you an oak man?

Oak's nice.

Alright, well you can walk into a movie theater and buy a beer. And, I don't mean just like a paper cup, I'm talking about a glass of beer. And, in Paris, you can buy a beer in McDonald's. You know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in Paris?

They don't call it a Quarter Pounder with Cheese?

No, man, they got the metric system, they don't know what the fu** a Quarter Pounder is.

What do they call it?

They call it a Royal with Cheese.

Royal with Cheese.

That's right.

What do they call a Big Mac?

Big Mac's a Big Mac, but they call it Le Big Mac.

Le Big Mac. What do they call a Whopper?

I don't know. I didn't go into Burger King.

Will you come in, please?

What?

I want you to come in till I get the lights on.

What for?

Because I don't feel safe until I get the lights on.

Would you mind walking ahead of me to the sun porch. I feel funny about

coming into a dark house.

But it's light in there now.

Please.

What do you drink? Bourbon?

Look - I drove you home. I was glad to do it. But I have some things on

my mind. Can you understand that?

All right then.

What do you drink?

It's not generic I assure you. It has a quirky dialog, but thats its attraction. It is older, but not that old.

Is it a girl?

Is what a girl?

Whatever it is you're upset about.

Oh - no. I'm just sort of disturbed about things.

In general?

That's right.

Benjamin, I want to ask you something.

What?

Will you take me home?

What?

My husband took the car. Will you drive me home?

Here's the keys - you take it. Do you know how to work a foreign shift?

Oh. Right.

"What are we going to call him?"

"We could name him after your father."

"Tiberius? You kidding me? No, that's the worst. Let's name him after your dad."

"Are you from the future?"

"Yeah, he is. I'm not."

"Well, that's brilliant. Do they still have sandwiches there?"

"So, I hear you were terrorizing Mr. Morgan's class... again."

"Expressing my opinion is not a terrorist action."

"The way you expressed your opinion to Bobby Ridgeway? By the way, his testicle retrieval operation went quite well, in case you're interested."

"I still maintain that he kicked himself in the balls."

"Do you know what happens at proms?"

"Yes. We'll dance, we'll kiss, we'll come home. It's not quite the crisis situation you imagine."

"Kissing? That's what you think happens? I've got news for you. Kissing isn't what keeps me up to my elbows in placenta all day long."

"Can we, for two seconds, ignore the fact that you're severely unhinged and discuss my need for a night of teenage normalcy?"

"What's normal? Those damn... Dawson's river kids sleeping in each other's beds and what not?"

"Daddy that is so not..."

"I've got news for you. I'm down, I've got the 411, and you are not going out and getting jiggy with some boy, I don't care how dope his ride is. Mamma didn't raise no fool."

"She's meeting some bikers. Big ones. Full of sperm."

"Funny....

So, tell me about this dance, was it hoppin'?"

"Ugh. Parts of it."

"Which parts?"

"The part where Bianca beat the hell out of some guy."

"Bianca did WHAT?"

"What's the matter, upset that I rubbed off on her?"

"No, impressed."

"Hello Katarina. Make anybody cry today?"

"Sadly no, but it's only 4:30."

"I burn, I pine, I perish."

"Of course you do. You know, she's beautiful and deep, I'm sure."

"Sweet love, renew thy force."

"Hey! Don't say sh** like that to me. People can hear you."

"You don't buy black lingerie unless you want someone to see it."

"I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick; it even makes me rhyme. I hate it, I hate the way you're always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry. I hate it when you're not around, and the fact that you didn't call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all. "
