The New Ex-TWI Purple Heart Goes To...

A friend of mine, now former corpse of the Way, or TWI for short (Too Weird, Inc.), left the ministry for good a short while ago. He does not allow me to share his (yeah, it's a guy, best I can do) name or state he is in. But in Corpse meetings he did share that there were some that TWI, mainly LCM, but later the TWI BOD felt were a royal pain in the a**.

The Allens were spoken of a lot. The Lawsuit and Waydale. Greasespot is spoken of a lot at least up to a few months ago when he (my contact) decided to leave or just disappear from view. So I guess Pawtucket is another one. PJ Roberge is a hot topic and he said Corpse members were almost "forbidden" to go to his sites. Not outlawed totally, just that PJ was blasted for, get this, "faked" or "forged" documents by some leaders, (not BOD), just some Corpse leaders, which he believes were in denial then and are still in denial. So to some in TWI, PJ is Dan Rather. His problem with those guys accusing PJ was that TWI could easily produce original documents that were not "forged" to clear themselves and never did, so PJ is in court battles instead. I asked if he had Corpse tapes and he said no, these discussions took place after Corpse meetings generally, in his area but occasionally at TWI HQ. John Shroyer is another for "stealing" members. Since I knew John Shroyer, last I heard he wasn't driving up in a CFF van and yanking TWI faithful inside and driving away to Tipp City with them. Then there was Living Epistles, which some Corpse accused of "changing doctrine". So Raf has riled some for challenging basic PFAL.

My website Christian Heritage Online was not even an honorable mention. Perhaps my ten hits a night compared to hundreds for the others is the reason. Not enough to annoy them I suppose.

Chris Geer has not been mentioned as a threat for years, though he has been talked about in a negative light from time to time.

Thus, the new Ex-TWI Purple Heart goes to:

1. The Allens

2. The man known as Pawtucket

3. PJ Roberge

4. John Shroyer (and all of CFF I suppose)

5. Rafael

Who is the top pain in the a**? Depends on the moment.

Oh, one more thing, Pawtucket made Greasespot available for us to share our thoughts on TWI, most of them not so good. So I suppose all of us here are pains in the a**. Maybe how we are measured here is our degree of participation on GS. Some with several thousand deserve better than the purple heart. Maybe a Bronze or Silver Star. I guess Ex-Cathedra gets the freakin' Medal of Honor.

About CES being mentioned as "stealing members". You are correct, but that was I think, almost twenty years ago, and the most recent was CFF as a ministry. But I do remember in the Galatians Tapes weekends LCM hosted he was riled and spoke pretty bad about John Lynn. Although his name and CES did not come up, yes, John Lynn, and especially John Schoenheit are due for the Ex-TWI Purple Heart Award. That is from my own observation before the hostility was turned to another later. CW can you do that thing again for John Lynn and John Schoenheit? Yes, they do deserve one each.

I have a question .....

Instead of Purple Hearts, can you make those "Purple Harps", with a crack in the middle, signifying "the day the "music died", a song headed for everlasing glory (but impeded), something coming from within, and suddenly irrevocably, interrupted? Like our experience with twi?
