"Here we belong, fighting to survive

In a world with the darkest powers."

"Fighting and free, got your world in my hand.

I'm here for your love and I'll make my stand."

"No man could understand-my power is in my own hand."

"People say you've had your day.

I'm a man that will go far

Fly the moon and reach for the stars."

"Here we are, born to be kings"

"Here we belong, fighting to survive

In a world with the darkest powers."

"Here we belong, fighting for survival-

We've got to be the rulers of your world."

"I am immortal.

I have inside me blood of kings.

I have no rival.

No man can be my equal.

Take me to the future of new earth!"

"Fighting and free, got your world in my hand.

I'm here for your love and I'll make my stand."

"No man could understand-my power is in my own hand!"

"People say you've had your day.

I'm a man that will go far

Fly the moon and reach for the stars.

With my sword and head held high

Got to pass the test first time, yeah.

I know that people talk about me-

I hear it every day,

But I can prove them wrong 'cause I'm right first time."

Man, this band can't get any love on this thread lately.

This is Queen's "Princes of the Universe."

(It was a single, had a video, and was the theme song of the

Highlander movies and television.)

The official video features Christopher Lambert from the movie.

(He's there with the band- he and Freddie Mercury cross swords.)

"You give me just a taste so I want more and more.

Now my hands are bleeding and my knees are raw.

Now you've got me crawling, crawling on the floor."

"You've made me acknowledge the devil in me.

I hope to God I'm talking metaphorically.

I hope that I'm talking allegorically.

Know that I'm talking about the way I feel"

"Now just like in a song from days of yore

Here you come a-knocking, knocking on my door"

"You give me just a taste so I want more.

Now my hands are bleeding and my knees are raw

'cause now you've got me crawling, crawling on the floor."

"You've made me acknowledge the devil in me.

I hope to God I'm talking metaphorically.

I hope that I'm talking allegorically.

Know that I'm talking about the way I feel"

"This old town's changed so much, don't feel that I belong.

Too many protest singers, not enough protest songs.

And now YOU'VE come along.

Yes, YOU'VE come along.

Ok. That was Edwyn Collins' "A Girl Like You."

It's one of the few pop songs to feature a vibraphone.

It was on the soundtrack of "Empire Records" and appeared in

"Charles Angels: Full Throttle".

It charted in 3 categories on "Billboard":

U.S. Billboard Hot 100: 32

U.S. Billboard Modern Rock Tracks: 7

U.S. Billboard Top 40 Mainstream: 32

"As he came into the window,

It was the sound of a crescendo.

He came into her apartment

He left the bloodstains on the carpet.

She ran underneath the table

He could see she was unable.

So she ran into the bedroom

She was struck down- it was her doom."

"So They Came Into The Outway

It Was Sunday-What A Black Day

Mouth to mouth resuscitation

Sounding heartbeats

Intimidations"

Are you okay Annie?

That's a Michael Jackson song..."Smooth Criminal"

Thank you!

I also would have accepted the artist as "Alien Ant Farm".

Those of you who've seen the video of "Alien Ant Farm's cover of this song

probably recognized a few of the Michael Jackson references all across

the video.
