Thanks,Rock,.....rainy days are roofers holidays,'cept I can't go fishin' or play golf.....all this self-structured time,I got nothin' to do and all day to do it....
Go to the ant, thou sluggard.....not slothful in business, fervent in spirit, praising the lord,....redeeming the time because the days are evil,.....Why sit we here until we die?....Rise up O men of God,the church for you doth wait! The slothful hath said "there is a lion without"........
Of course Simon speak such, the kind of rain we had on Thursday, not seen for a couple of years locally, no doubt has drummed up much bizness, after his midweek day of rest.
Well, the rains have stopped,I'm back to milking the moment and living in daytight compartments....Hey,somebody started a threadkiller topic in the open section.I wonder who the threadkiller is gonna be for the 9th corps......
Simon I was reading a hot thread you and ex were writing on if that is the threadkiller you were talking about. I hope we don't have a threadkiller here we just need some new material or some fresh ninth corps to come out of the closet and quick being quiet readers. Were a family dagburnit.
Tommy,we were talking about a different type of "gifts of feelings",ala VPW,after reading From Birth to the Corps.....Fellowman,if it's to be it's up to somebody else,dagburnit.....
open my eyes that i may see glimpses of posts thou hast for me... place in my hands the wonderful key that shall unclasp and set me free... silently now i wait for thee... ready my thread, thy will to see.... open my eyes illumine me.... 9th thread divine
My sweet Ex, you bring a spring to mah step and a smile to mah soul. I used to love that song when Dan Moran's band would play it. What was the name of that band??
Simon, I thought we were talking about bible kinds of faith and workings of hercules.
Turn your eyes upon Hay-sous (for the latin contingency) ...
Thanks for piping in guys,....I didn't want my name all over the right side of the dead threads....How Long Has it Been?.......since you talked with the Lord,...and told hin your heart's hidden secrets....
Another (allos) one of Glad Tad's songs I loved was "Give glory to God & be thankful". I can hear Dan's voice yet as I reflect. Kevin McCabe.
Deborah. Vicki. Who else??? John??? They were YOUR brethren.
Ya know, there were some really great times I remember in res, with Ex and Simon and jellowhipper and JohnHopeCharity these three, and so maaany others, listening to Glad Tad in the background, telling sto-ries, drinking beer, speaking lovingly about different bleeders, reliving incidents from the prior year, etc. Too bad there was another (heteros) mystery being lived in the ministry ...

Never have bought anything from QVC or HSN/C... what a wonderful bunch of kids you have there... and the oldest must be incredibly smart, going to the University of Chicago! :)

Oh... (((((((Karmicdebt))))))), I'm SOOOOOO sorry. It is most understandable that you would feel that way.

I bet Simon needs a heavy duty blow dryer today. Or maybe he's doing his best impression of a lightening rod...
Stay safe out in that weather, friend.

Just sos you don't 'feel' all alone ...
I thought it was YOU who recently said, "Bless your heart, it's not how you FEEL that's important ...", or something to that effect.
Why, you can get a good feeling on a psychiatrist's couch.

My hunch is this thread has at least 9 lives and can survive what would kill a normal or otherwise boring thread.
And, as "Simon says" If it's to be, it's up to someone else!
