Harry Potter 3 is the best out of the trio. One of the best scenes is when Hermione verbally and physically assaults Malfoy. I would see it again. It is hard to do a book justice in a movie. Miracle will follow miracle and wonders will never cease!
1)when Lupin has the class doing the Bogart thing and what happens to Harry & Him and you will understand WHY after you see it a 2nd time.
2)the classroom scene when Hermoine explains what it is Snape is asking about....REALLY explains so many things, its just the first time you just think its her being her knowitall self!
such a cool movie. Can't wait for the next one.

I loved it! It wasn't as good as the book was! J.K. Rowling was right, the director left out alot of important scenes! I can't wait for the 4th one Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to come out in theaters! The cool thing about this is that every year that they show it i am Harry's age! G2G! Bi!
Actually, Rowling felt that all the important parts were there - and thought that her readers would be pleased.
I saw it a 2nd time with my youngin' - we both enjoyed it more - and were able to watch more carefully.
Yes - a lot of explanations were missing (The Marauder's Map was just one). But I think the film-makers have decided that 99% of their viewers have read the books. I'm not sure whether that's a good or bad assumption - but I believe that's their point of view.
This is the best Harry Potter movie out of the series so far. I loved it when Hermoine told off Draco and then punched him! I also loved the time traveling element, too. I have a friend who makes Harry Potter robes if anyone is interested. She is a fantastic seamstress and is making me some new outfits.

George?

I would be VERY shocked to see the scene where Snape tries to work the
map included, although it would be worth the price of admission all by
itself.

Go see it a second time, it really is good
the 2nd time around, I agree with suSie about
out bad guy getting punched, well worth it.
two scenes come to life the 2nd time around.

Well, the book was the same size as the others, but the movie was, what-
20 minutes shorter? That's not something you can make up easily.
Book 4, "Goblet of Fire", is a lot bigger, and "Order of the Phoenix"
is about the size of books 1-3 together. If they don't make the movies
at least 2 hours long, they will chop too much out.
