It doesn’t bother me if you stay. This forum is open to anyone, but some have an easier time than others. It’s rare to see someone refer to victor as “Dr.” I must admit, the dishonesty is refreshing.

Thank you, Oldiesman. Not sure what you all do here if there's such a focus on staying on topic. Idk, maybe somebody new shows up here freshly processing their experiences. They work through it and another one shows up freshly processing their experiences? Then, another and another...? Almost like some kind of rescue mission, or whatever? I just don't know what's in bounds and out of bounds in this community. I've been involved with a bunch of ministries. I'm interested in furthering my walk with the Lord, not so much looking back. It was fun to reminisce. As I've said, I wasn't burned as badly as some. I did have a surprise pleasant meeting traveling through New Knoxville. I'd agree with you on this. Well, Don Wierwille didn't have much choice, having been born to VPW, but he did walk away at one point. When he returned, maybe he had ideas about doing something good but got squashed by his father. The others walked into it with eyes wide open.

Wow. *checks* One source says he was 5'4" and 100 lbs, giving him a BMI of about 17.19. But, yes, that was James Madison. Apparently 3 James Madisons standing on a scale at the same time would still weigh less than one William Howard Taft (322 lbs.)

Considering this messageboard has been going for more than 25 years, and still has daily activity, I think that's quite remarkable. Out of all the messageboards I've been at since I went online, I think there's only one other one that's still around. IIRC, that one went down completely, and was restarted by someone else, so it's more of a different board with the same name as the first board. This one has been active since the 1990s, and underwent migrations between hosts and servers. It's outlasted the entire hosting company on which it started.

If we stayed on topic the thread would have been over a long time ago. Probably why this sight is dying. Any good message board has a main theme but still people develop relationships and want to shoot the bull. Please don't be offended, I'm just sharing what I learned from a lot of messages board.
