  1. Thanks! There's times I consider moving on from GSC and am them reminded by a post like yours that there are people who read along and benefit from our content.

  2. I could make the same claims about your theories. All we have are scriptures to guide us in these matters. They say nothing about "two doors" or God limiting himself to limit the devil. We should not second guess the situation; just learn from it. Isn't it amazing how when you want to shoehorn your theories it's okay, but everybody else has t riggedly go by what the text says?

  3. Yah. I'm sure those bibical parent would have let their kids go off with any stranger that came along. By the way, what responsibilities did a 30 year old have then that a 20 year old didn't have? Some of the apostles were fishermen, one was a physician. Both positions suggest age, not youth. Christ didn't start his ministry until after he was 30. Don't you think he would have started it earlier if he could have? Now, why would the apostles be able to galavant all over the countryside if Christ couldn't?

  4. This sounds like wierwille’s fixation of demonology - all speculation by him and YOU odd…you’ve conjured up a cosmic economy…God and the devil are inextricably linked together…weird and unbiblical to say the least and It still sounds to me like you’re placing limits on God…Jim Croce plagiarized “if I could put god in a bottle…” ah yes the spurt-ual realm! Maybe re-prioritize your time. Finish Penworks’ book first, then take that much deserved vacation from Grease Spot to mull over the implications of what is revealed in Undertow to reevaluate your thesis.

  5. I left for a while a couple of times. One was a few years break. I post here to interact with you guys and for community service. I get a lot more perspective and different viewpoints here. It’s better we aren’t the same borg we once were.

  6. It seems to come down to the question: Says who? Victor says so of himself. If he says so... The author of 2 Timothy says so about what he himself writes. If he says so... Did God create man or did man create God?

  7. I would propose that fundamentalism is the lie. Humans are not precise machines in many ways. In others we are. Trying to force precision with superstition is the lie. Thus the “canon” of anything inspired is always in question. The Greek language is a little more inclined to geometry and precise math than Hebrew. I tend to view God breathed in that light. It is just meaning “inspired” as opposed to “automated writing”. I do put them all on the same plane. It is just the plane I put them on doesn’t overstep its boundaries with ridiculousness. The “muse” plane or the source of creative inspiration. I feel that spirituality is an individual choice. What you choose to allow to inspire you is entirely your choice. There are many quality human beings on the earth that choose the Quran as their inspiration. The God I worship would reward them according to their virtue as opposed to whether or not they had position in “Gods household”. I feel like in the afterlife there is going to be a lot of servants in the house while there are a lot of sons cleaning stables figuratively. To me any view has to have equity and balance. I view Christianity as a grassroots movement as opposed to an excuse for a building and control of others. ymmv and varying mileage is a good thing.
