ROFL -dont feel bad the last time I played which was many years ago, I had a score of 111. I thought the higher the score the better. so I retired after that game thinking there was no way I could ever beat that score again. BTW- did I mention that was on a 9 hole course.

There were 2 different types of home studies for the classes, PFAL had home studies that were given to you at the back of the foundational and intermediate class and then they had about a 6hr test you took before going to the Advanced class to make sure you were spiritually mature enough(gag) to reciecve the information in the class. Now when the WoAP class came out in '96, they did a series of home studies that you got before going to the Adv. class, there were 1-3 packets of about 100 questions each given to prospective students every couple weeks over about a 20 week period as a prep for going. They had a strict timeline to complete and you didnt recieve the next set until you turned in the previous. They would then grade them and then let you know what you had to work on before going to the class. I did the first group and unfortunately helped to administer and grade people who fell into the second group. If I remember correctly both were a pain and because they put so much pressure around doing them, it made it totally unenjoyable to those who had to do it, where it could have been fun otherwise. I dont have either one but in case you didnt know, was just letting you know they redid them when they changed the class. So the question is which homestudies are you looking for. Since your title says PFAL I will asume that's the class you were talking about.

A pretty reasonable guess would be that they are holding their Advanced Class there. It usually runs this time of year June/July. I could be wrong and they might have some other event just as useless going on. How long are your realatives gonna be gone, that would be a strong indicator as to what's up?

Oh, it's still around. If they removed the "cornerstone" of their "foundation of beliefs" their entire ministry would fall apart. The fact that Jesus Christ is Not God is just as important(or maybe more) than their belief that the Bible is the "God Breathed Word and Will of God" All the innies would revolt, pandamonium would breakout, and chaos would rule , indicating that the Return would be about to happen . Actually a couple of years ago they sent around a survey to all the fellowships asking if they would prefer CD over tapes and DVD's over VHS in regards to the STS. Also they have been toying with and trying to figure out how to cost effectively transmit Live audio AND video broadcast for hookups. The plan was to first upgrade everything to digital, then figure out how to broadcast it and not cause the fellowship coordinators to dish out a fortune in compputers and a/v equiptment in order to hook up. Now that was a few years ago and I have been out of there for some time now, so I dont have the lastest scoop on it. Since craig updated the video to digital when he taped the classes and now they are doing the audio portion, it looks like all they will need to do is figure out transmitting it. Heck, If it was me I would post it to a secure website and sell monthly fee's to access it for individuals(forget dvd's and cd's). And for hookups they could give out temporary one-time codes for that broadcast and export the video to a TV.

The WaP class was video taped in early 1995 and they actually played the first hour of it at the last Rock of Ages. It was released on the field in Jan 1996. Someone else may be able to fill in the details of WiG's taping and release. That would be interesting if LCM got his info from WiG.

Welcome to "The Spot" shortfuse!! I think you answered your own question in saying it is doing it to itself. The world is full of places for the sane and the insane alike to gather and unfortunately there are enough insane ones still in TWI to keep it going for awhile IMHO. The best we can do is show some that there is, as God say's, always a way to escape. This site has already done wonders in setting people free from them. It's your's and other peoples stories and the continuing information of what is really going on that will feed peoples brain and allow them to realize the subtleness of the hypocrisy that is at work there. So in my opinion the best thing to do is post and make current members aware of what is really going on and believe that there eyes can be opened. And for the insane ones, well, it's better to keep your enemy in one place were you can see them instead of scattering them about were you might not.

Ok, I got your attention. Good! I don't post much anymore but after reading a few posts and people talking about how things have changed over the last few years in TWI. I figured I would shed some light on this from an “Innie's” point of view. Changes or a relaxing of the leash- that is the question I pose to you. Have there really been any significant changes to the belief system of TWI since our Personal Fitness Trainer got the boot. Let me throw this at you if I may: Imagine if you may being in jail. Now imagine if you will political pressure being put on the jail to change it's ways. Now imagine if you will the jail taking you out and placing you on House arrest with an ankle bracelet that prevents you from leaving the home. NOW- What has changed here? The rules have relaxed and the environment is nicer, But do not ever forget you are still a prisoner. The same applies to TWI - they changed a few inconsequential things and they even backed off and ignored some issues, but in the last 5 yrs they have not changed one belief they have (at least that I'm aware of, and I do have some access to information) except for the adultery issue and if He hadn't been caught would that have even changed either? They are playing to the masses to feed them what they want to hear by loosening the grip on the leash, but they still are quite the same leaders with the same mindsets that they had 5 yrs ago. And from sitting through the Anniversary sleeping service and there mention of debt, i can almost see it now, there ever so slightly and slippery tightening of the leash in that category. I guess I should mention the collar that they provide is a choker training collar attached to the end of that leash. Off Topic - for those that care to ask why I am still in, let this be your answer- I have reasons, and let's leave it at that -thank you Disclaimer- Of course this all IMHO-but remember, I'm well trained JSN
