  1. Hope I didn't scare too many folks off.. But really.. aren't those the real questions.. who am I, where did I come from.. why am I here.. certain overly zealous religious answers need not apply..
  2. I can remember being conceived.. if this sounds nutso, so be it. it was like death. It was a roll of the dice.. no guarantee of results.. Can you imagine.. coming from a world of perfection.. no problems. No worries.. no hunger.. but with the problems of this reality, this reality was preferred.. where did YOU come from? "The Squirrel has left reality.." hehheh.

    Awesome!

I remember something about prime numbers, where some speciies choose a prime number for the years of its cycles, so as to avoid predators.. I'll have to look it up this weekend, unless another math nut beats me to it.. seventeen is a prime number. somehow, it is off sync from the cycles of predators, thus ensuring it's survival. who knows.. heheh.
  4. In a strange strange kinda way, I think we all are.. the light we came from, I think some of us can remember it. We begged. pleaded for this existence.. I think part of the agreement was that we would not remember what we came from. and a lot of us are so concerned about the terms of exit.. how ironic. I think I "got it" this time around, I don't know.. Fiction is so wonderful.. it allows us to remove the masks, if but for a moment..
  5. I think a lot of things about our origins are hidden in fiction.
  6. This little e book picks up the pieces after they happened.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/classic/ebo...row/index.shtml I think Eccleston was Dr. number nine, but I've lost count.. of course the last incarnations were supposed to embrace the dark side, according to "trial of the time lord".. If you've followed the series for a number of years, Lungbarrow is almost amazing.. lots of reading though. Hand of Omega, the first incarnation of the Doctor.. Reading this novel was one of the "surreal" moments in my life.. heheh.
  7. Most people don't know that it is the longest running sci fi series in history.. since November of 1963 I think.. Cheesy special effects, but the story line is addictive. Has anyone else here read the online novels? Unbelievable, almost.. I almost remember the stuff before I read it.. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/5390372.stm

    Awesome!

I remember collecting some of the left behind skins these guys shed, when I was a lot younger. Pretty impressive looking. Of course now they would probably would look a little smaller..
  9. The Squirrel has watched Doctor Who since 1981..
  10. I dunno. Maybe these kind of guys are really that helpless.. Somebody here ought to write Michael Jackson a letter. Tell him there's a moglet languinshing away in a pool in Mexico City, after filming a class..
  11. It makes sense in a warped way to me, Rascal. Some people simply do not want to think. It is FAR easier for others to think for them. Far easier for someone else to do the "research" (gag), teach the material. Plus, what they don't know, they are not accountable for, or so some think. So the "conscience" is clear, all is well.. all is "clean" unto them.. they are absolved of accountability, at least to themselves. Some people are AFRAID to think. Afraid they'll get possessed or something.. besides, it might hurt.. give alms, that's sure to fix everything.. The guy that runs that place.. even if he "came clean".. "yeah, I was worse than a bozo.. forgive me. now support my "ministry"" If it was me, I'd say, yeah, I'll forgive.. now go get a friggin JOB..
  12. Yep. :) And watch the caffeine. That's way too big a cup of java for a little kid..
  13. Yep.. some need I guess. I remember when I left der vey, an old "leader" said, "well, where ya gonna go? Who ya gonna fellowship with? what ya gonna doooo.." As if my very identity would simply dissolve without the influence of der vey.. I really think that some have the opinion that the whole world is going to stop if they abandon the old religion. If I had that kind of "need", I'd get it taken care of on the cheap. Just buy the materials from the Belezian people, cram it in my brain as many times as I desired.. heck, you can even buy the video of at least one of the advanced classes.. plus disks with every sunday night service in existence.
  14. Honestly, I think he'll stand before the lord, and say, "duuuuh, I just drove da bus.."
  15. It may be a fine line of demarcation here, but quite a few of these groups ask for "donations" instead of "charging" for their classes. :) But that is a good assessment. I just won't pay anymore for warmed over, half eaten, regurgitated pfal material. If it was so great the first time around, why do I need to buy it all over again? If it is so great, why is it that the only people who seem to see the greatness of it are these grifters who insist on continuing vic's legacy? Oh yes.. the one guy who charges for rights to run his class.. same guy who had a REAL problem with a guy who wrote a paper claiming adultery was sin.. and God is going to give him revelation? New light? people trust this guy to "rightly divide" the word? hmm. You've gotta be kidding..
  16. I really wasn't talking about money. The old pfal signup cliche may apply here, "well, money can replaced.."This is what I was talking about: Hearing the word "doctor" attached to vic's name, or "reverand" to those who followed or enabled his vile lifestyle, turns my stomach. I think anybody who BLINDLY, without DEMANDING accountability, hands these sob's their hard earned cash, even five dollars a stinking MONTH.. I better not say. I'll talk about the money. I'd rather give the money to the government. I'd rather give it to PETA, or Greenpeace. I'd rather contribute to a GAY RIGHTS cause.. there would be MORE ACCOUNTABILITY. They would probably do MORE GOOD with the money..
  17. I don't know about bibles.. but I've heard dictionaries sometimes have a few out of the ordinary entries so they can determine if somebody is just raw copying..
  18. However, the old vicmeister did try to claim equivalence between believing and receiving. "all believing is receiving, and all receiving is believing.." in my own words, I think he was saying: "if you received something, this implies you believed for it, AND if you believed for something, this implies that you received it." But that simply is not true.
  19. kinda like "god breathed = moved by the holy spirit = revelation" "things EQUAL to the same thing are equal to each other.." Nope. You have to prove EQUIVALENCE. if A is equivalent to B, and B is equivalent to C, THEN A is equivalent to C. Second rate hacks, at the best..
  20. Yep.. from a jock psychology major turned madman.. sheesh. There really is a difference between inductive reasoning and jumping to an unfounded conclusion.. I wish these guys would just leave math alone. What did it do to them, anyway..
  21. You know you were in twi if.. you think Drambuie guzzling plagiaristic womanizing serial abuser and rapist + "doctorate" degree from a degree mill = man of gawd.. it's cult mathmatics..
  22. I thought I had friends there. It seemed real enough for a while.
  23. You'd be better off being scammed by a real estate scheme.. at least you'd have a chance of getting some of the money back. But I think money is the least of the problems here. People who HONESTLY think a drambuie guzzling, plagiarizing, womanaizing, serial rapist and abuser could POSSIBLY be a MAN OF GOD.. or those who followed in his ways.. even when confronted with first hand evidence and testimony.. I think they were scammed out of a lot more than JUST money.
  24. Another little tidbit.. even if there is correlation, that in itself does not conclusively prove causation.
