Letter from John Lynn
Ham replied to Jeff USAF RET's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
"If you know me and care about me.." Kind of gives him a "select" audience. We're not anonymous here; here we are a few hundred that were part of the same abusive cult that he was. Perhaps that's all he needs to know. No, not anonymous, entirely. I think he's afraid to step out of his little box, as far as his religion is concerned. -

Rascal, perhaps there is a C. here: C. He is deathly afraid to openly debate his theology, because deep down, he knows it just isn't at all points true. For the playing field to be even, his opponents must agree with what he believes, at least fundamentally. -
Groucho, more like "Spiders in Tights International" They could do a stage production, and REALLY show those debils what for..

International Fellowship?
Ham replied to Milfred_Zink's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
I did not intimate that. It was a mild (and apparently vain) attempt at a little humor, "Getting donations will be like trying to pull teeth". :) -
Sprawled out, you ruined me for the day, this "trial" is playing like a movie in my head.. good thing I got my homework done this morning..
-
They'd have to subpoena the said spider, or at least get a sworn affidavit. "Now raise your right hands. do you swear.." Defense: "I object. Your honor, Spiders can't swear, they don't have hands.."
-
It probably won't go that far, but.. honest to God, I hope they get a JURY trial..
-
Maybe this can help them in their pursuit of truth, justice and anti-defamation of spiders: Sprawled Out, you really shouldn't have gotten me started, It's hard to find the off switch..

lawyer says, "is that a spider in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me..."

thirty minutes? wowser.. AND thought provoking, instead of authoritarian, thought numbing, and controlling? I would be impressed too, with that alone. Maybe that shoots my theory, that if they hit the big time, things go for the worse.

Details of the lawsuits...

I wonder, did M. and K. G. have a lawyer file this with the court, or is this a "do it yourself" kind of litigation? -

So what's the status at CESTFI?
Ham replied to sprawled out's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
Perhaps you misread me as well. No, I'm not bitter, or hatefull. But I'm not gullible either, at least anymore. I'll admit "no public dialog, buy my book" tends to ruffle my feathers a little bit. On his word, STFI is supposed to have the best "package" in the world.. I've heard that before. In TWI, people stayed at first, becuase the supposed 80% good of the package kept them, they could justify a couple unpleasant sessions with the then moggy.. Then it got worse. They stayed for what they perceived the 60 percent good.. Then they stayed because if they were good enough, they'd get back to the "purity" of the package. At the worst of times, loy would scream that they had the best anybody had to offer.. So here, we don't have outward anger, we have arrogance. "and to the rest of you, the critics of STFI, come to our package, tap into the root.. see the truth of our claim that we're the best, nothing's worth public scrutiny, end of 'discussion'" Arrogance, to the end. The Lord says he hates arrogance.. I can be arrogant at times, but it wears off- eventually I learn that I don't have all the answers. When are these guys gonna? -

-
"da promised land of der prevailing word" "a nearly unattainable and mystical state of being, where, for the most faithful, even devils can be foiled, merely by proper planning and implicit obedience"
-
"Vacation" "An unallowed concept in the promised land of da prevailing word." "I have a bad cold" "see definition for 'vacation'"
