  1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summer_of_Love This was the same time of the big funeral.. of the Hippy. very interesting to me.. so you've seen the Light.. where do you now go.. back to the Shadows, again. Out where an injun's your friend.. I can only remember the quote regarding the stream..
  2. They can STILL only "acommadate" only twelve students? I dunno.. twelve? enough to sow, till, and harvest the man(little bitty boy) of gawd's turnips or something? No matter what you do *son*.. you will still only be a *boy*.. sorry for you.. sincerely.
  3. So what happens to the animals? Just wonder.. The universe folds into itself in existence.. the "humans" take some kind of detour or something.. what happens to the other 99.7 percent of Deity.. Closer to 99.999999 percent.. Humans are so damned arrogant.. "we" is "it"..
  4. The best time going.. I just don't hope we have the best time coming.. well, if you believe that kind of thing.. 1. I don't want to come from infancy, in this existence, in any form. At least until I am confronted with the alternatives.. 2. I want every intellectual advancement I've struggled for, in this existence. Why in the hell should it be FAIR (though I don't ascribe to fairness, unless it REALLY exists) to go through the same damned six years of college to get primitive information about mathematic axioms, proofs, and such.. 3. I don't want to make the same damned, stupid numbnuts mistakes. 4. I want the same children.. can't nullify what this incarnation cannot be undone.. I'd say more..
  5. maybe you just don't understand their language.. is that really a fact? Why does God actually have to DO anything? Maybe.. maybe. It's an old movie.. a custom better honored by it's breach than by it's observance.. well then, you'll have the pay the Piper! "the P P P P Piper?" yes, you hear me, you .. (curses in Scottish).. you'l have to pay the Piper.. I would rather be a Friend of God.. there is only one human being given this name, that I know of.. I don't think so.. everything else, yes. Dissapointed, no. Being dissoved in the Light is not exactly unpleasant.. They tried that a few times, didn't they? :)
  6. Oppressive.. but the food was good(?)... ahhh.. for the days of WOW Burgers.. Oppressive.. decisions (what is the word.. it will return in a few moments..) made. You know.. no judge, jury or official executioner needed.. what is that word.. As to what.. 1. where you live 2. who you live with 3. who you marry.. 4. where you work.. can't interfere with "twig" you know.. ah.. now it comes. Summary Judgement.. no right of appeal.. maybe no right of appeal in society.. but not right of appeal in the organization.. I think the only reason anyone was not "bothered" was because *they* liked where they were at.. VERY good job, VERY good pay, something to bring prestige to the ministry.. yeah, you had a "good life".. or did you? Interesting..
  7. This is "doctrinal" isn't it? So let's be "nuts".. I had a preview of it.. one look into the Light..at least for long enough, and you will be GONE. what if.. you woke up once, and found that EVERYTHING you believe was just, plain, WRONG. another "nutcase" like me, actually a dear friend, a guru, a nutcase like me, asked me the same question.. what if everything burned off.. They think the burning is due to some kind of Divine Mercy.. I hope I take something of this with me.. otherwise, what was the purpose? "we teach our people not to look into the light.. you will get BURNED.." sorry, too late by the time you gave your advice.. but.. if you survive, your eyes will become accustomed to the light.. eventually.. I hope this makes sense to somebody here.. other than me..
  8. Buddhists regard it as a place of refinement.. burning off all of the worthless crap you've accumulated along the way.. personally, I think a lot of that defines the person themself.. kinda hard to let go of.. takes something bigger than "self" to let go of it..

    I am living in sin

I dunno Roy.. considering the standards of religion.. we are all living in sin.. in one form or another.. personally.. I like red wine only a TAD more than I should.. not to the extent that it rules my life or anything.. I'm not (to the best of my awareness) consumed with greed.. or hate.. or.. who knows what else. I've asked a few questions at times.. what we need at times, is someone else willing to cover our backs.. whether it is god, or whoever.. maybe that's where "faith" is.. and there is no definite outcome..
  10. Maybe you are doing better than me.. bless me father, for I have sinned, followed a bunch of dumbass numbnuts false prophets..
  11. In regards to *mr(?)* geer I use the term "numbnuts" very, very carefully.. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=numbnuts
  12. I understand they were not mannequins. They were, well.. you know. inflatable "people" purchased from the local XXX store, complete with air pump.. More life-like than mannequins I think..
  13. I mean.. aren't things kinda *sick*.. when doctors depend on their salary or payment being guarantee by debt collectors.. I mean.. they can generally be relied upon for about a 17 percent return.. outsourced, of course.
  14. In a lot of "other" words.. if one is aged, unemployed and injured.. the state is not too interested in helping the said individual. No, that was not me.. interesting.. the hospital "gives up".. i.e. knows the person can never pay.. but the doc who does the work.. no. The fees are on the books.. in the unlikely event the person will ever gain employment.. it's just what I personally observe.. then if the person gets employed.. garnishment of wages.. surely follows. Interesting, no?
  15. If they had a cast that excluded tom cruzize and alec baldwin, I might be a tad more interested.. a flop. Maybe the citizens of this country have had enough of cruise and baldwin.. I really don't think cruize and baldwin technically are or represent hollywood.. the girl on th the poster promo. I think maybe she is more "Hollywood".. just an impression. Who is she, anyway? I think it is more like cruze and baldwin are preaching the (mis)flavor of the decade.. has anyone REALLY been listening to this for the last 20 years? Just a few thoughts..
  16. ha.. not in this state. you can be even unemployed.. for a long long time.. unless you are a staffer at less than minimum wage, and have dependent children. Then the government seems to be a *tad* less stingy. I wonder where they find their "abundant" and "prevailing" lifestyle in Michigan..
  17. Extreme, yes. The guy paying for all the scans bought an Epson scanner.. Until now the best I've had to work with was second hand HP hardware.. The software was nice, in the sense I could adjust the window that it would scan stuff.. but still slow. And it would not generate searchable pdf's.
  18. Maybe they are both on the same side of the same coin.. I just wish we didn't have such extremes to deal with.. Maybe the best I can do is not to generate such extremes.. Politically I think we are lost.
  19. I know.. for some it is a vacation, for others it is a holiday of terror.. even in the worst of times here.. and maybe that is yet to come.. it seems preferable to the alternative..
  20. Thankfully, I have not been a direct object of mistreatment by this numbnuts..
  21. Bizarre.. kill one's self if the dead are alive.. I have a few impressions of the "previous existence". practically begging to be able to participate in an earthly, (relatively) non (or less) complicated existence.. Why end it all when you got what you asked for?
  22. I asked this character the Big Question once.. what the hell are we, really.. though that question already burned holes in me. At least the cosmic reply. and the answer.. we are just entities finding our way through this existence.. the best I can figure.. he died in his sleep.
  23. One of my best ham friends seemed to have chosen to not have children. Yes, he was married. I never had a good solid concrete reason to ask him why, or why not.. couldn't have he.. shouldn't have he.. It was pretty much his business I suppose. He was married over forty years. he "adopted" a lot of people though..
