  1. They are probably saving it to help settle on of the ongoing lawsuits..
  2. Was this really in the rag? They could have made it look a little more impressive- take about twenty or thirty different pictures of the individuals, cut and past them together, and say "all these people are our new corpse grads." Heck, even some of the innies may be impressed!
  3. Not long before I got out, I remember talking with a friend on staff at headquarters. She never told me much, but when I said something to the effect that she must be "so blessed to be here and here da vord" her eyes rolled up in her head.
  4. It did not look very strange to me. At least compared to other internet sites that fit the category of "autor consumed a little too much purple rye"..
  5. I think the question should be rephrased: "would you go back into the mouth of a lion if it promises to not bite you this time?"
  6. I think a lot of the fighting over the trinity sidetracked closer examination of a lot of the practical errors we were subject to.
  7. I remember the little book about christian ethics. I think it was called "the lifesyle of a believer", and was only viewable by corps. Read twenty pages, and you supposedly became an instant expert in ethics. They may have initially thought it was too heavy for the regular Joe believer. Eventually it made its way into the bookstore though. Maybe this was "Doctor"'s "Doctorate thesis" that has been discussed on another thread..
  8. If you could do it without copyright problems, I would like to see a promo of a new non-prevailing production, coming to a beta machine near you, "Mogin Hood, Loy in tights." I think that could provide LOTS of material!
  9. This discussion makes me curious. Does anybody know what "Doctor's" "doctorate thesis" was about, or perhaps have a copy?

"What makes you think the people will listen to you?" "Because, unlike other Moginhoods, I can scream and hurl spit with an Okie accent.." (apologies to Mel Brooks)

Now to severely derail this otherwise fine thread: this gives me an idea for a new movie. "Moginhood, Loy in Tights." Any opinions?

Sorry Steve! You may have misunderstood.. as gruesome as they may appear, monkeys in tights still look better that Loy in tights. No aspersions to said monkeys were intended.
  13. I think they would have had their lawyers arguing that TWI was the Devil if that is what it would have taken..

Now a monkey in tights.. that is entirely a different proposition.

Jim, I do not know if that is why Loy got the job. After all, even a monkey can look good in a suit..
  16. J.T., I think you missed a category that I observed: "can be used to prop a door open."
  17. Hope, I agree with you. I think a lot of it was idle gossip, and kept "leaders" from forming a honest opinion about someone. Maybe that was one reason they kept circulating the corps in their assignments, so the masses were not aware of what kind of leaders they were stuck with. We were expected to give the new leadership a fair shake, but with their "secret squirrel" networks and copius record keeping, we were not afforded the same consideration demanded of us.
  18. Standing in the gap.. heh heh. It was more like, "Standing in the Crap."
  19. The problem is, for them to admit that they were wrong, they would first have to admit that they were human.
  20. Looks to me as if Bally Boy caught wind of this.
  21. I think that maybe, they saw what kind of prices the old stuff was drawing on E-Bay. Probably enraged them enough to do something about it..
  22. Henry could fix the Ford, the Ford could never fix Henry (or itself).. unfortunately, they fired all the Henrys.
  23. As one of the first items, maybe they will offer Schoenheit's paper on adultery.
  24. Let me temper this post by saying I love ATHELETES. My kids are atheletes, and are very intelligent. So much of the stupidity that Bally Boy generated was because he was (and likely still is) a JOCK.
