  1. Verizon is good and bad - many dropped calls and lots of little added charges, but as someone has already said, apparently those charges are going to be there whatever service you use. Many dropped calls on Verizon is all I can say; and the reception isn't the greatest on any of their phones I have used. But others in my family use more expensive models and say they don't have the poor reception that I experience. I also can never keep my phone charged, and I don't use it much. Everyone else can talk and talk or leave it idle and it stays charged. Customer service is pretty good; at least they're always there. Just be sure to check your minutes or the overtime minutes will KILL you. Oh that's right, you don't talk enough to worry about that! I find it's less convenient using a cell phone as your main phone service but I wouldn't want to be without a cell out on the road, and especially at night. So if I have to choose between the two, I'll take a cell over a land line.
  2. I haven't heard anything! All I know is I can't wait! I adore magic and especially Harry Potter style. I will guess that Snape stays a good guy. Not evil anyway.

I've never tried it or considered it, and it doesn't seem to appeal to me, generally speaking. But on another level, under perfect circumstances, it sounds kind of good. Of course there are never perfect circumstances are there! Darn it! So I don't believe it would ever work out for me. And if I were in love with a man, I know I wouldn't even want to do it. But I think a large percentage of men would like to try it at some point; society and wives in general don't support it though, so they never do it. But no, I don't consider it cheating at all, if it's something the couple agree to do. Unfortunately, it would seem like feelings would always be a problem, for at least one or more of the participants, at some point. Like lines of emotional intimacy being crossed.
  4. Fascinating topic, very current to what some friends and I are dealing with at the moment. Waysider! :P
  5. Hey dmiller - I noticed that there were 175 guests visiting this site in the last 35 minutes. What causes that then? Is that common? I often check the stats and visitors, and haven't ever seen that many. Wowie. :)

  6. uptown1 I have just read all of your posts and I think they're all excellent and spot on! I enjoyed them. Thanks.

  7. Sara bothers me because she seems so utterly unhappy. She's blase; and that's energy-draining to be around. Hopefully I'm wrong that she's unhappy.
  8. Dot They do? Oh no...well I saw an episode awhile back in which Sara suggests they try it, see where it goes, stop putting it off, that kind of thing. He didn't answer. I guess that was the last current, non-rerun episode I saw.

    Unveiling

Sounds good...I just hope the graphics will remain the same. This is the most pleasant-to-read I've ever seen. :)
  11. Buffalo Springfield...can't think of the title. What's That Sound??
  12. Wow, Eagle, awfully good thing you WEREN'T worthy! *shudder* :o
  13. Whoa, how arrogant! Imagine gladly being part of an organization that taught you to view others that way. Devoid of any resemblance to the Christlike personality. Those who have left that organization, and left that high-minded way of thinking behind, must feel so much better now. Good for those who have done just that! :)
  14. Belle, no problem at all, thanks much for the welcome! Chatty Kathy, thank you too! I really, really like the colors and decoration on this board. Sooooooo pleasing to the eye and soul. :)
  15. Oh my! Of course! GeorgeStGeorge, I'm so sorry! DUH, right? :D
  16. doojable Nice tip! Can't wait to try it - say, what about onion odor then? Much bigger problem for me sometimes. Garlic too. Lemon doesn't seem to take care of either. :)

  18. Fine, put me on hold. I love listening to the "Music to Kill Yourself By" collection. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Walt: Three juice boxes for six kids? It's gonna be like Lord of the Flies out there. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sean: Why are you answering questions with questions? Eddie: Why does that concern you?

krysilis - I agree, I loved the elliptical trainer! What fun. I also agree about avoiding hydrogenated, processed food, and not to eat too much at a time; and not all of course, but a lot of people find they need to avoid too much wheat, especially refined flour. I know my family does better when we don't eat too much flour. Less congested.
  20. I hadn't heard about this...I'm pretty stunned to hear it.
  21. Oh I hope not! He makes that show. It is his show! I also like the young guy who works in the lab. In fact come to think of it, they usually do a great job casting the lab guys. But does anyone else have a problem with the character Sarah?
  22. Once married, once divorced. :)
