songs remembered from just one line

Alright now, surely someone must remember this. After all, it's a FREE POST. -
A list of what wasn't copied would be shorter....much shorter Seriously, though, here's one example to get the ball rolling. http://www.empirenet.com/~messiah7/vp_stiles.htm

There she stood in the street, smiling from her head to her feet. :P -

When I was involved, The Dead Sea Scrolls were declared by the presiding leadership to be fraudulent and "spiritually counterfeit". (Everything was "counterfeit" if it didn't originate at The Way.) <_< edit: One of the identifying signs of a cult is that they claim to have proprietary knowledge. -
It's Strange Brew by Cream How's about another?

Ahhh,yes...maybe the tiger has YOU. Dad: Stop pulling the cat's tail, son. Son: I'm just hanging on. The cat's doing all the pulling.

Spill The Wine.....War (with Lee Oscar, one of my favorite harp innovators.) Why, tell me why, did you not treat me right? Love has a nasty habit of disappearing overnight. -
I was just thinking ....If fictional character Adrian Monk had been in The Way, he would have been the greatest class instructor of all time.

This is his typical modus operandi, Old Skool.... red herrings, straw man arguments and whatever flawed attempt at logic strikes his fancy. And, when all else fails, he resorts to, "nanny, nanny, boo boo...yo mama wears combat boots!" It kind of reminds me of the time he said that if your wife gets too annoying, you should slap her around. (Now there's some advise that's well rooted in the Bible, eh?) Except, this is the internet and real slaps don't travel well in cyber space.

Which category does this fall under, Biblical research or teaching?

Geeze, excie, just do one of those one-size-fits-all deals. You know. "Father, I (just) thank you that all the body parts (just) function like they're 'sposed to.". ( the "just" is optional.)

A research department at The Way....Isn't that a bit like having a test kitchen at the d-Con factory? -
This all rings very true for me, as well.

I'm Your Captain......GFR When the dream came, I held my breath with my eyes closed. -
If you look at some of the writings of Thelema, you find that, aside from the odd and unfamiliar names, it has a lot in common with Vicsterema.

"Like it hadn't been known since the first century".... Well, we don't count cemeteries...We only count the volumes that were hauled to the city dump so he could start from scratch.

and speaking of comparisons..... "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law"...Aleister Crowley "Do what you like, as long as you like what you do."...VPW <_<

People are always trying to compare him to David or Paul or Moses or.... whatever. Me...I like to think he was much more like Pee Wee Herman (obsessed with owning the coolest "bike" on the block) Ha! I meant to do that!

Much, much older ....Les Cinq Croix "The Anglican theologian E. W. Bullinger (1837–1913), a frequent visitor to Brittany, cited the Five Crosses, and included a photograph thereof, as one historical evidence that he was not original in his view that four—rather than the traditional count of two— "others" were crucified with Jesus: two thieves and two other malefactors.[3] SOURCE

I like to think of SOWERS as being a sort of tobacco industry equivalent for the bible carrying crowd. For years, the tobacco industry knew of the dangers of cigarette smoking but they made a concerted effort to downplay and even conceal those dangers from the consuming public. Now, thanks to educational efforts, tobacco sales and use have plummeted in developed countries. So, what does the tobacco industry do to bolster its bottom line? It targets a new, more vulnerable audience in the third world. It's taking a heavy toll on the people and the economies of said countries. Just like the tobacco industry must certainly know the dangers of the product it's promoting, SOWERS must certainly be aware of the tragic history and defective characteristics of its current product. So, what do they do? Target a new, unsuspecting sector of the religious market. This approach seems to be more successful than the antiquated business model its predecessor continues to follow.
