  1. When I was in FellowLaborers, we had a work detail to build a fire circle. We stayed up all night, cutting sod, with a special machine, and relaying it around a fire circle. I don't remember much of what was said around that fire pit but the drudgery of building it is etched in my memory.

A well-known idea called the "Proustian phenomenon" proposes that distinctive smells have more power than any other sense to help us recall distant memories. SOURCE
  5. Yes, it is often used to further whatever agenda is being promoted. In starting this thread, it was never my intent to question healing, per se, or anyone's personal experiences or belief in healing. 12. Tsk Tsk, chocky. You won't earn any points from the Wierwille Admiration Society with talk like that.
  13. This is both a non-sequitur and a flawed analogy. In order for this to even resemble a valid comparison, one would need to show some sort of correlation between the cited behaviors and the use of electricity. Logical fallacies are a common devise, used by those who realize or ignore the folly of their own arguments.
  14. Revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night...
  15. Well, they were wrong. They do owe you something.....an apology. (I wouldn't hold my breath, though.)
  16. Never forget, though...."Everyone is welcome at The Way." hahahahahahaha!
  17. This is the theme song for a radio show I listen to so I'll bow out.
  18. Q. Why did the chicken cross the road? A. He wanted to prove to the possum that it could be done.
