(Ignore the fact that every person who has ever walked the planet has either died or will die at some time in the future.) But, now, Wierwille---he died 'cause we broke his heart----just gave up the will to live 'cause we didn't fully appreciate how he had sacrificed his very own eye for us.

I don't hate you ClayJay. We simply have differences of opinion at times. I said your response was callous because it appeared, to me, that your sarcasm was directed at the poster, not The Way. Perhaps if you had added this: ["THEY (The Way), should also blow up and get rid of all memory of VPW because he died because "sin" killed him!"] your point would have been clearer.

Long story made short. The Way taught that this refers to leadership in the household (trunk leaders, limb leaders, branch leaders, twig leaders, etc.) That was one of their justifications for absolute obedience.
