Oh, I don't know. I think it turned out to be everything Wierwille envisioned.

I'm not sure about the links. It may have shown up in one of the discussions centered around CF&S, although, it was not in the class, itself. There are several people who currently post here that were present when he made these statements. (ergo>>>1st hand testimony) edit: That doesn't necessarily mean he actually did it. But, why would he say these things in front of an entire group of people?

"Just a singular mistake, revealed to the MOG on his deathbed by revelation from the Almighty... Like some sort of mythic hero. The way the story was related to me, God showed him in that moment of time what would happen to his Ministry because of his (singular) mistake."

I suppose there will be facebook lurkers who will venture into GSC and be aghast that anyone would question the very bastion of Way theology.

It's all Geek to me.

And then there's the mashed potato analogy. "Gotta feed the Christ in you with spiritual mashed potatoes to make him big and strong." Gee, I thought Christ in you was supposed to represent the limitless power of God. How's come you need to do something (or anything) to make him big and strong?

Think about it. You could have The Way without 4 crucified or the 6 denials or "Eli, Eli---" or a multitude of other things. But not SIT. Nope. It wouldn't be The Way without SIT. And the irony of it all is that VPW, the chief proponent of speaking in tongues, had a "tongue" that consisted of about 6 or 7 words that he simply recycled when the occasion called for it. Lo shanta la maka see tay

It's THE one topic that is guaranteed to strike a nerve------like ice cream on a rotting tooth.

When you were still in The Way, did you ever try to purposely go without speaking in tongues for a serious length of time? It's amazing. You start to actually think for yourself and question the hallowed truths of Wayville.

I'm willing to bet it's the one common denominator that links them (face-bookers) all together.

Maybe God doesn't speak English.

Wayfers feel that the only way to communicate with God directly, is to speak in tongues. (sessions 11 & 12 of PFAL) Therefore, for them to stop speaking in tongues is equivalent to being lost in the wilderness-----naked.

It doesn't speak well of his credibility regarding "spiritual perception", does it?

Oh, just about anything goes just about anywhere. The trains here don't follow any strict schedule or route.

Thanks! Welcome to GSC. Pull up a chair and have a cup-o-joe.

Little Sparrow, Little Sparrow, The Eagle has flown south. Do you copy? Never know if the adversary is listening in. He might want to steal your Mal-Pak or something.

Hmmmmm-----That's a "no-no" in TWI. It's always supposed to be "decent and in order", one at a time. (Except "excellor sessions" which, of course, didn't have to follow any steeeenking rules.)

That's been done already. Some of the work even came from people who post here on GSC.
