  1. Yes. Yes, we are. :D I can't speak for everyone, but you could come to the BBQ this year! George
  2. Like can be a verb ("I like chocolate.") or a preposition ("It smells like chocolate."). It is not a conjunction, although it is often used as (note: not like) one. Use as, instead. George Also note that when a word is used to represent the word itself, rather than its meaning, it is to be italicized or underlined.
  3. Sorry, Belle. I couldn't resist. Please excuse the fact that I do not know how to break up a post into individual quotes. George
  4. Now that wasn't so hard, was it? By the way, Raf, did you get it from the quotes, the characters' names, or the CSI+letter hint? George
  5. Alexander was having trouble with Worf, and Lwaxanna was having misgivings about her wedding. so she took him to a bizarre world (I think it was a holodeck simulation) where they could have fun. Worf was not amused. I'm sure there was also a main plot involving some dire threat to the Enterprise, but I can't remember it. George
  6. I've been reading comic books now for 45 years. I've always thought that Green Lantern was the coolest character. The particular picture is from a painting by Alex Ross (who, coincidentally, is from my home town). In Brightest Day, in Blackest Night No Evil Shall Escape My Sight. Let Those Who Worship Evil's Might BEWARE MY POWER, GREEN LANTERN'S LIGHT! George
  7. Sounds like one of Lwaxana Troi's weddings (which never actually come to pass). I think it was the Next Generation one. I think the final scene has Deanna, Lwaxanna, and Alexander enjoying a mudbath. Pan to Worf saying, "So all we do is SIT HERE?" George
  8. How did I miss THIS one? Maybe because I was gone all day. I do hope you had a wonderful birthday! George
  9. Threee pics. You have to recognize the people. George
  10. It's a current TV show. There are four letters in the title, and three of them are C, S, and I. George
  11. It's a current TV show. There are four letters in the title, and three of them are C, S, and I. George
  12. I'll try to post one tomorrow. George
  13. That's fine. Actually, I was thinking someone would use Rob Morrow or Johnny Depp. Anyway... Looking for Mr. Goodbar Tom Berenger Shoot to Kill George
  14. I'm tempted to use Hector Elizondo, but that would bring me back to "Pretty Woman." Come on, there's a MAJOR star in this film, as well as some lesser luminaries. George
  15. Just post something, Sudo! Let's see who chimes in. George
  16. Point taken. But I still don't recognize this one. George
  17. Since wasway is playing cute again, I'll just say it. "Courage under Fire." George
  18. Good grief! How many shows have characters named "Gibbs" and "Ducky"? George
  19. Wasway obviously thinks generically enough. Now just spell it right... George
  20. You're working too hard on the last clue. Think more generically. George
  21. Definitely on the right track... "The scorpion." "One of nature's finest killers, Mr. Wint." "One is never too old to learn from a master, Mr. Kidd." "That's quite a nice little nothing you're almost wearing. I approve." "I don't dress for the hired help. Let's see your passport, Franks." "Occupation: Transport Consultant? It's a little cute isn't it? I'll finish dressing." "Oh, please don't, not on my account." "Hi, I'm Plenty!" "Of course you are." "No! That's my name -- Plenty O'Toole." "Named after your father, perhaps?" George
  22. I thought that this one would be pretty easy... George
  23. No, more a coming-of-age comedy. Some fairly well-known stars in it, though. George
