  1. "General Sun Tzu said that 'The greatest victories are those won without fighting'." "The Great Kahless said 'There is no victory without combat'." George
  2. The NG episode "The Chase"? Humans. Romulans, Klingons, and Cardassians are all after this genetically coded puzzle. It turns out to be a message from some species claiming to be the forebear of all of them. George
  3. If it's what I think it is, it's a cute puzzle. Again, I'll wait a little bit to see if someone else gets it! George
  4. National Lampoon's Vacation Christie Brinkley Young Doctors in Love George
  5. "A Taste of Armageddon" had one of the silliest ST moments. Kirk and Spock tell people to move out of the way, so they don't get hit by the phasers they're using to blow up a disintegration chamber; the people scatter. HELLOOO! They're there to GET disintegrated! Who cares if it's a phaser or the chamber? Try this one: "Commodore, you may file a formal grievance at the nearest Starbase, should we survive to reach one. But you ARE relieved of command." George
  6. I didn't think you were being deprecating. "Magnum P.I." wouldn't have come to me, either; but when Raf guessed it, it made some sense. Quite different from "America's Most Wanted," though! And don't worry about the clues. Raf didn't recognize Lee Meriwether in my movie pictionary puzzle, even though it would have been a drop-kick for me. We all have different perspectives. George
  7. Yes. She had said that she wasn't his little girl anymore. He said the line in a tone and with a look in his eyes that still makes me shiver. The first line was during an episode wher Archie was trapped in an elevator with a black man and an Hispanic couple. After one of Archie's tirades, the Hispanic man said, "I am an American -- equal to you!" To which Archie replied, "Equal to me? You're not even equal to (pointing to the black man) HIM!" It was so ridiculous I fell out of my chair laughing. I watched the show regularly after that. You're up, Waysider! George
  8. "Julia" starred Diahann Carroll as a single mom (and a nurse, I think), around 1970. George
  9. Two MULES for Sister Sara, Ara Parseghian, head coach of the Fighting Irish for many years. I'm pretty sure I know yours, but I'll let someone else have some fun. George
  10. You're going to hate yourself! George
  11. I could barely even see the fellows sauntering in the background, but the smithy's melody reminds me of S.L. and O.H. George
  12. I'll assume I was right and post this: George
  13. I'll guess the original series episode "A Taste of Armageddon." At least, it DID involve a diplomat. George
  14. And this is the line that touched me the most from the show: "Don't you NEVER say that! You'll ALWAYS be my little girl!" George
  15. Actually, they weren't. So what did YOU think the answer was? George
  16. I'd never heard of Mos Def, much less knew what he looked like. But now I assume the show is "America's Most Wanted." George And I shouldn't speak for Raf, but if he thought the second pic was P. Diddy, then "P.I" made sense for the last two pics. If the first pic was a "great" Roman, then "Magnum" wasn't too out there, either.
  17. I should have stuck with "Traxx." Allen Tudyk Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story Gary Cole George
  18. "Suicide Kings"? George P.S. I always thought Lee Meriwether was pretty hot. Loved her in the Time Tunnel and Barnaby Jones, though I preferrrrred Julie Newmar as Catwoman!
  19. This show has been done before, but this quote is what got me to watch the show regularly. (Besides, we've already had "Laugh-in" three times!) "Equal to me? You're not even equal to HIM!" George
  20. "Why, he just jumped up and kept right on goin'!" One of the funniest "Adventures of Superman." George
  21. Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd. "Trading Places." George
