  1. Are you kidding?? Lindy, I'll admit that more recent songs will probably get by me, but if Raf ISN'T kidding, maybe you ought to try something a BIT more mainstream! George
  2. Why do you say these things to me, when you know I will kill you for it? George
  3. Actually, it's ONE-ders (wonders). "That Thing You Do"? George
  4. Since Belle, Sharon, et al. have remained silent, I think it's safe to say WE GIVE UP!! Lindy, how about another song? George
  5. The singer's "cousin" was in "Back to the Future." I'm not sure, but I think this was his only #1 hit, even though it's not one of the songs he's most famous for. George Do I hear bells ringing? ;)-->
  6. Banks have insurance against robbery. They ALSO have guards, locks, and lots of rules. George
  7. Lindy, We obviously need more lines (though I don't think I'll get it, anyway)! Try a couple more. If no one gets it then, you may have to try another song. :(--> George
  8. Apparently not AS easy, though! George
  9. I use the Tropical Storm part of Intellicast Weather: http://www.intellicast.com/Local/USNationa...v=none&pid=none They only update storm tracks about every four hours, though. You might try The Weather Channel. I think they have a storm update at least once (maybe twice) an hour. George
  10. I'm not sure that "luck" will serve you as well as hard work. You have my prayers for success! George P.S. Does this mean you're forgoing the "procedure" you had planned? Working on your Master's with a baby on the way would be doubly tough. (Not that I think you can't handle it!)
  11. Yeah. If the high that's east of Florida strengthens, Dennis could hit Texas. I'm up for a little rain, but not a category 3 hurricane! George
  12. I'm going to guess "Scarface," although the lack of obscenities probably rules it out! George
  13. The National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE) provides insurance at group rates. If you are in a job that doesn't offer good insurance, you may be able to get supplemental insurance through a professional organization. George
  14. As I recall, the Way Woods and the burial plots do not abut a public thoroughfare, so access to them requires passage through TWI property. Even when "everyone was welcome at The Way," they had the right to protect the property from trespassers. And it's not unreasonable to surmise that there are, in fact, people who would deface the property or interfere with TWI operations if there were no restrictions to access. George
  15. Could be. Popeye and "The Commodore" did have the same arms, the same "squinky" eye, and the same pipe! George
  16. Well, I guess I waited four days for a clue to song I've never heard! George
  17. I've seen it, but it's been many years since! George
  18. I'm not fond of tropical storms, but I wish this one came a little further west. Houston has just had the driest June on record, and a couple inches of rain here would be very welcome. George
  19. I PT'ed him. Hopefully, we'll have a clue soon. George
  20. Oh, and the "Harrigan" song is from "Yankee Doodle Dandy." George
  21. I think W. Cumm*ns did the "Also" pamphlet. I do not have a copy. George
  22. I wouldn't call it "unique," but it is an interesting version of this sort of scam. George
  23. Pitched this one in my wheelhouse, Sudo! The Stars and Stripes Forever was written in 1896, when Sousa was returning to America from a European tour. (His manager had just died.) Most people don't know the words to the song. (It has nothing to do with ducks.) Here they are: Let martial note in triumph float, and liberty extend her mighty hand. A flag appears 'mid thunderous cheers, the banner of the Western land. The emblem of the brave and true (Its folds protect no tyrant crew) The red, and white, and starry blue is Freedom's shield and hope. Let Eagle shriek from lofty peak the never-ending watchword of our land. Let summer breeze waft through the trees the echo of the chorus grand. Sing out for Liberty and Light, (Sing out for Freedom and the Right) Sing out for Union and its might O patriotic sons. Other nations may deem their flags the best and cheer them with fervid elation, But the Flag of the North and South and West is the Flag of Flags The flag of freedom's nation. (repeat) Hurrah for the Flag of the Free! May it wave as our standard forever. The gem of the land and the sea, The banner of the right. Let despots remember the day When our fathers with mighty endeavor Proclaimed as they marched to the fray That by their might and by their right it waves forever! George
