  3. Welcome JAL!!!! I truly believe that each of us has our own certain calling and gift to this world. Whether we agree with each other or not... Whether I understand your way of thinking or not... Whether you even "get" me I truly believe JAL has a calling to reach the people he's suppose to reach in his very own special way. (So do each one of us)... And with this, JAL...I am still very thankful and grateful for your precious life...for the gifts you give to others...your talents and your flaws... Love, Wacky xoxoxo (P.S. Jeff knows who I am...you can ask him ;)-->)

The lawyer told me not to buy it....as cute as it was.... It was a whopping 650 sq. ft. total, which is barely bigger than the house I'm in now...and with all my crafts!!!! So, when I was exploring the laws to build we found that the house was 54' from the brook (with waterfall)...and the law is the house be 50'...and the house was 78' back from the road ...the law is 75'...that left the whole side yard which, because of Vermont laws, was going to be totally occupied by the $30k septic I had to put in...and there was no space to build on that side of the house!!!! Hence...I'd be locked into that 650 sq. foot house forever...and darling as it was...as gorgeous as the view... Makes me wicked sad...can't think about it too much anymore... :(--> So...here I stay...I'll finally be out of debt by the end of this month...so I'm staying here to start building for my old age which keeps coming... So...when you move out here...you have a summer house to come to... :D-->

  9. move to Costa Rica Hey Oz!!! Jan was a sweety and very very kind. I still have numerous emails from her with all her jollies I've saved...they're cluttering up my yahoo mail, but I don't care...I save them...and read them now and then. I'm planning on backpacking New Zealand next winter (your summer)...if you'd like to take a hop over ;)-->...would love to meet you... Glad you're out.
  10. Oz!!! You're still in alot better shape than many of the single women I know!!! Did you know Jan Groenveld?...she was in Brisbane...was a deprogrammer for the JW's and other such cults. I was in Oz in 2000...had a blast for a month...never went to Melbourne tho...Uluru, Kakadu, the Reef and Sydney... were you only a JW???
  11. Thanks Galen for that info. It is a big help!!! At the end of this month, I will be debt free!!! (that is until I need a new car, and then I'll have car payments.) I have been working on this for years now... Starting the fall I will be able to sock away money for my old age. I have no pension...just ss...and that doesn't look like too much. I started 2 IRAs 10 years ago, but, golly...it's next to nothing, even tho I put the max I could in them....wouldn't support me for a year I bet... :(--> I'm feelin' pretty free and breezy these days :)--> I'm also downsizing...getting me a more simple life...even simpler than it already is...
  12. I know Conor...I guess I know you too, mcds...!!! I can picture you both now (minus 20 years, of course...) ;)-->
  13. Welcome to GS Wishing for Freedom :)--> Thanx, Ted...I got the CD and, to be quite honest, ...I think you are a much better singer now than back then!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your voice blew me away!!! Could it be that now that I'm an aging ole' fart, I am drifting to your style of music? ;)--> Thank you for your kindness...Smoochies xoxoxo

Hey Daggoo... I'll be up to Unity in September for the Common Ground Fair again. Onioneater and I rendez-vous'd there last year...ate a continuous Maine french fried potato... Perhaps we could all meet up this year, eh? I'm glad you love it and have found happy! :)--> Happy is a good place to be. ;)-->
  15. VPW gave it to everyone...I'm pretty sure...it's was "the gift"....could someone who was there correct me if I'm wrong? It's a very limited edition....in fact....I've never seen any other one than mine. Anyone else have one?
  16. I just found a RHST book for all of $1.99.... Shipping cost even more than that :(-->
  17. I have a leather bound RTHS book from Living Victoriously, or somewhereother....it's still in it's red original box....have 14kt gold page edging.... Do you think I could pay my college tuition with this one????? :D-->
  18. Thanks for the feedback, Mary Cate...I think it's a riot even still....I've told it to everyone I know and then some. I first heard it from my massage therapist as I was lying on the table...I almost died!!!! It's one of those jokes you can't really read....gotta tell it to make it work... :D-->
  19. Didn't you guys think this was funny? :(--> I was rip roarin' when I heard it... OK, OK...perhaps you have to read this joke out load to get the full impact of the accent.... ;)-->
  20. oh...."The Captain of Salvation" was my all time favorite... in fact...anything that Brian Bliss sung was pretty terrific!!! :P-->
  21. Didn't Ken McCaw write a theme used for the olympics, or something like that? I had an old tape of the Way Orchestra...the whole thing was out of tune...I probably still have it in the basement somewhere...I played the oboe for years, and have perfect pitch, and would cringe when I would hear them play. Please, no offense to anyone in here who was in it...I'm sure you all did the best you could, considering you were in a cult. ;)--> Radar...my all time favorite was "Captain of Salvation"....like a lighthouse on the sea...set sail to ride the oceans of god's love...he'll give you shelter from the tempest, he's the prince of peaceful seas.... ....it's no wonder we both live at the ocean, eh? :P--> Hi Ted...I'm not much for country music, but, I do remember you pouring your heart, soul and guts out on stage...bravo for you!!!!!
  22. Ohhhhhhhh...that's what you meant... "My Soul Doth Magnify The Lord of Hosts..."...with all it's blends and harmonies :)-->
