I'm gonna get up at 4am to watch the funeral on tv, because, I think that that's a "happening" I can acknowledge for my respect for him. I just wouldn't hop to Rome... Thanks again everyone... Thank you everyone for your insight...I will sleep more soundly tonight fer sure... Sudo...would you travel to Rome? to pay respects to the pope? I'm shocked that you're shocked that I'm shocked.... Seems like a little much for me, but, I guess to each his own. I just feel I can pay respects to him by prayer in my own home... I just don't get it. I understand he was loved...I just don't understand the pilgrimage, I guess.

I'm watching the long lines to see the dead pope from satellite photos. I don't understand why they're so long. Does anyone have any insight for me? When I was in Rome, it didn't even occur to me to wanna visit him. It actually scares me, that people are "falling apart" over it.

Jim...how long have you been out? I don't like late people either...I didn't relate that to a twi thing...I think it's a college/school thing... Jeno...I rarely think about twi either...it was just a deep seated something about a faberware perculator pot...it was totally unconscious til I was driving home and looked at the pot in the passenger seat... I guess, when I think about it, I haven't come into contact with a faberware perculator pot in 19 years!!!! I use a krups drip pot for decaf.

I couldn't believe it. I went to the dump today to put some things in the swap shop...it's spring cleaning time again. I saw a nice faberware perculator pot...like brand new someone had donated. I put it in the car. As I was driving away I looked at it and wondered why I had taken it. I don't drink perculated coffee!!! In an instant it came to me...why? I wanted to have an extra pot for "twig"...or if someone was gonna start a "twig" that I would have one to give them!!!! I couldn't frickin' believe it...what? I've been outta twi now for 19 years now...and I mindlessly did this... It just about freaked me out...I was thinking I was almost all healed up... sheesh.... --> Anyone else do these little mindless TWI dog day things?

dmiller...if you look in the archives of waydale (or possibly here), I asked the same question. I have been sitting in anticipation, waiting through the past 4 years for some disc jockey on the radio to clue me in. Nada. It still hasn't happened. Every time I read off my credit card expiration date to someone I ponder this. Expires 09/05 I say " oh nine, oh five", but how to say the bulk of the 00's still makes my mind a little crazy when I think about it. So, yes, I have been in a quandry for 5 years now. Hi All...I just got home from Killington, Vermont, where it barely snowed. When I called down here (on Cape Cod) everyone warned me not to come home on Saturday like I had planned. It's Tuesday and I can hardly believe my eyes!!!!! I strattled through waist high snow- WAIST HIGH mind you to get to the front door!!! I looked out my back door and there is a snow drift up to my eyeballs!!!! Alas...I'm heading outside to shovel a little walkway for myself before the next hit tonight. I love the snow...wish I was here for the brunt of it but who knew I would miss it up in Vermont...sheeeeesh :(--> Icicles are my one of my favorite things too!!! love 'em.
