In Myst, the goal is in the messages by the 2 guys in that den room. It is confusing. I think you start off on that first island...and look for clues to get off. There are about 4-5 ways to get off...and each way brings you to another dimension. That's where I am in it. The dimensions intertwine with things you have to do in them, and bring them to another dimension. Gotta read the books in the den....and listen to the messages in the den. Turn things on and run back and forth to different places on the island to open the keys to the ways off. Confusing, huh? Has anyone played it til the end? (I think I remember krysilis mentioning it somewhere)???

Tom...buy "Myst"...it's full of these...taken me weeks...I had to put it down...it goes to different levels and places and is quite intense...worth the $$$ tho...

You think this one is hard...you should try "Myst"...it'll drive you nutz and then some :(-->

The "present truth" is sort of like the "thorn in the flesh"... ...it depends on what the present truth is to the truther... it's all a bunch of what Wordwolf said...."hogwash"...

Cowgirl...Leo is cinnamon color too, very long hair...goes to almost white near the roots...with a brownish face. I've been plucking his hair when he molts...I have a big bag of it now...it's softer than cashmere, I tell ya :)--> We snuggle in the morning on my bed while I'm watching the news...he nestles in my armpit. When I'm on the puter he nibbles at my toes or licks them. He's very affectionate. He does make mistakes and isn't totally housebroken...he mostly goes in his box tho, but not always... I've trained him to come when I say "cookie". I give him organic corn chips or Smartfood...I did this in case he ever got out and I'd have to fetch him. I make sure when I give him a cookie, I never touch him...don't wanna spook him if I DO ever need to grab him!!! Hopefully I'll get to spin some of his wool today...kind of excited about that. I'll be gone the rest of the weekend. Love those lops :)-->

About a week ago, my lop, Leo, who is free range in my little house, kept "escaping" from my main room here, to the little mud room by the back door...very unusual for him to do. He would hang back there...and I would hear "thumping" from him. I learned over Christmas that rabbits "thump" when they're angry...so, I thought he was mad at me. I actually went to the farm and got him fresh corn, carrot tops, etc. thinking that was it. About 2 days later, listening and wondering about the thumping I started hearing rustling and movement in the ceiling above. That night...nawing and scratching...and I found the next day a racoon and had pulled open the roof vent and climbed in to hibernate. Then I heard 2....then I heard the sex screeching one evening... I started to notice a crack in my ceiling and down the wall... Time for the exterminator. It's taken him 3 days to spray and track these little rascals...but, I think they're finally gone. He told me rabbits also "thump" when they perceive danger and it's the warning. :)--> (Rabid racoons were just found on my side of the bridge last week...and the incidence was right down the block that I live on!!!!!!) Rabbits aren't dumb. They don't bark...they don't purr...sometimes you don't know what's going on with them... But...they thump!!! and my little Leo was trying to warn me and save our lives :D--> Those raccoons were working their way in!!!

PTO is parent teacher somethingruther... Hey Bramble...I'm sorry for that whole nightmare!!!! thank you for sharing it in here :)--> You are not alone in GS...there are others who were in similar situations as you... I, too, have much trouble joining groups. After twi I sat quietly with the Quakers at the local meetinghouse on Sunday morning...praying to myself. I sat there for 2 years...just praying...didn't know what else to do. One day, after 2 years mind you, the "greeter" at the door asked me if I would like to greet the following Sunday. I was blown away...and never went back. Like you, I felt they wanted a piece of me... I've been out for 17 years now and still have trouble with groups. I did join a women's group therapy twice, and was ok with that, but, that was therapeutic. Even if you volunteer to do something, seems they always creep up on you even more. So, I hears ya...

insurgent...now, how could they cram that huge 4x6 card into the file without first cutting it into an immaculate 3 x 5 piece... probably using straight edges and other anal props to cut it??? ;)--> MT...I remember doing stuff like that too...but, that's not what this was. Both imbus and I were devestated by them. I'm sure their are other stories...I would love an old exway come in here and chime in on their orders to write them up. It's quite damning.

Remember Ralph's thread TWI 1,2,3 ??? Not only was that thread a riot, but it was incredibly informative to me as I was trying to grasp what happened to twi, and why things happened to me. Newbies, like imbus, seem to pop in here and there as they are unfolding in their life growth process...looking to piece together and understand the broken pieces of their lives. Hope and Catcup. When I first got to waydale it was your passion about twi that really woke me up to what was going on. My experiences were not that profound...but your info/anger/insight really filled in the blanks of the "whys" for me. Please keep telling the story.

"How do/did you get to the place that it doesnt hurt as much or what do you beleive now and how is your walk with the creator?" Now here's a loaded question. I spent about 3 years sitting in a Quaker Meeting House...probably one built by the pilgrims here. I sat quietly for these years speaking in tongues (didn't know what else to do) and staring through the rippling antique clear glass windows watching the trees sway...for years. I didn't know what else to do about god/goddess. I tried a few churches, but wasn't very interested. I have meditated with the dharma study group (buddhists) for more than 10 years now, and that's the place for me... I still have visions of a spiritual family...don't see it anywheres, but, I would like to believe it's out there somewhere... hmmmmmmm...god and I are ok ;)-->...I still deal with childhood issues and my life keeps unfolding like an onion as I continue to peel it and follow my calling... Hey...up at the top...where it says "New" in the blue....see it? if you left click on that...you can start your very own New Topic :)--> Welcome to the club here, imbus... We're all at different places here and at different levels...but, it seems we all tend to understand each other and our bizarre instances in twi...

It was details JT... one of them had a quote of what I said...I remember it pretty vividly because I believed it so deeply... basically: I don't care who says what...if it's not from the word, I don't care who says it and I'll listen to god first rather than man. They called this "disobedience". Another time the branch leader...her name was Brenda and I can't stand her lieness to this day...claimed I was NOT at a meeting that I WAS at... These were on the 2 3 x 5 file cards that jal pulled out as reasons why he kicked me outta the corps. this was the corps that was in the year that vpw died... ...a very screwed up time...but all the more reason to be more loving ...dontcha think?
-
Hey Joe!!! I remember you. I was kicked out right at the end of the first year tho. I think we were in way builders together...Kathy West and I were the only 2 women with a godzillion men... I can see you clear as day (altho, I betcha lost a little hair and have gained a little weight by now, eh?) Imbus...HERE I AM!!!!! :D-->

Thanks for those words, catcup. There is a new member here who has mentioned to me that she is having troubling following the threads and fights here on GS. I'm not sure how to guide her...as I don't frequent the threads much either. I understand what you're saying...and thank you for saying it. Perhaps she'll share her story here soon. It's pretty brutal.

New Greasespot by Midnight member, Imbus, and I were talking last night...reminiscing our little time together in Emporia... 3 x 5 cards. She and I were both written up on them. I remember, when going to jal's room to be booted from the corps, he had a few 3 x 5 cards on me and read them to me... ...I wasn't obedient in this...I said that... It was bogus. Imbus had the same experience...3 x 5 little file cards on her too...I can't say what they said but... Do any of you remember tattling on us and writing us up on 3 x 5 index cards? white ones... Did you ever see the 3 x 5 cards they had on you? Geeeeeshhhhhh.... I didn't even remember...nor realize how truly sick this was until our conversation, imbus. :(-->

I haven't read this whole thread, but will after lunch. In my area everyone wears blue jeans and tee shirts...sandals and scuffies... In the summer with the arrival of the city tourists we see an array of fashion showing from Neman Marcus and Saks... ...all us locals just --> --> --> However, as the demographics is changing, and more and more city people moving here and commuting to their cities, you see less and less of us slobs down here... I still slob around...and I'm proud to :D-->
