  1. On a positive note. For some months now Christians have been praying for rain throughout Australia. Me included, not in prayer vigiuals but alone as I do. We have had bush fires all around us and smoke. I waited patiently for the relentless dryness for an answering of my request of rain. Hey! I just had my front and back yard stripped of 4" of soil resoiled and turfed with only a one month permit to water my lawn which is restricticted on Category 2 of water restrictions. We are now moving towards Cat 3. on water restrictions. I woke up on Xmas day only to see heaps of rain. We had a record low of 58 degrees F for a summer day. Only to see out my window piles of tiny itsy bitsy hail, to put it simply, a white Xmas. It is rare for snow here in Melbourne but hey it was good enough for me. What is it a sign an omen? Who knows these things. All I know is I got rain with hail as snow for a cherry topped day. And this is Wednesday your Tuesday and we ae still getting rain. Thank u God there is power in prayer. Now I don't have to resod my yard.
  2. Johnny the next time we get together if we ever do. You bring the vacuum packed smoked salmon with the cheese and crackers with a cold one and I will bring the avacado and helmuuuuuunz (plural). I watched the movie of Johnny Lingo this morning at six it is a legend. Now I see your past.
  3. Johnny Lingo I think it's time for a cold one go get one on me and splurge as in olden times.
  4. Tday was a good day of an Aussie Xmas. Merryxmas to all! Tomorrow is box day and looking forward to that when you enjoy your Xmas it will be well. Merry Xmas and happy New Year. x
  5. Johnny, I am in the Hellmans camp. Everththing else takes like oil or grease. I never cared for salad dressing, barf. I finally found Hellmans here in Australia but it is made in Holland. They also sell Best Food real mayonnaise which is only sold west of the Rockys everything else east of the Rockys is Hellmans, Ironically the same taste it must be a selling thingy bobby. Johnny there is nothing better than a spoon full of Hellmans or Best Food real mayonnaise on a halved avacodo. Yum. I will go with your sons rebellion on anything else.

    Dont forget the bon bons.
  7. Allen W amen to that. God is big enough to tell us first unless we are to thick to hear it at all or do not have the spirit to tell us so. Even so God as seen when Sarah was kidnapped from Abraham, God told that king to return her. He didn't have spirit upon him as I see it. This stuff with spiritual abuse reminds me of a scratched record that can not get out of the groove it is playing and skips back to the same song. Geez.
  8. Well after I left the Way I decided to take the BJ Leonard class in Brownsville TX. My mouth during the class just dropped. He spoke so many similarities as we were taught in the ADV. class. The only thing BJ did not do was use every verse of scripture VP did.I put two and two together. Here I am sitting in BJ's class and it is just like the ADV. class but Dr. used to teach that you couldn't teach experiences but only scripture but it was the same thing. When BJ opened the class he spoke of plagurizime. It was'nt until years later with Waydale and now GS that I see what really happened. Hmmmmmm.
  9. Tom Strange, you spoke of getting a prophetic council of CES/STFI, I say not! I comdemn thee to hell! That is quite a heated talk and so many pages but so sad. I feel lucky we got away when we did to grow in our own lives.
  10. Jeepers creepers! After reading the first portion of this thread it was quite enlightening. The letter of prophecy sounds more like something from a seance rather than a word of exortation as we grew up with and knew. This stuff justs saddens me to know that these same people we walked and talked with. It seems it has went from a cult to an occult. This stuff is frightening. To have a board to actually sanction a prophecy is another entire control issue. We need to pray for these believers to get out.
  11. Ryan, I know you are seeking what to do. I will not tell you what to do, you now have of freedom will, she is conned like we here at Greasespot, we thought we had all of the answers, not. To ditch this relationship is like a bandade on a bad wound. Yes it hurts. Just rip it off! You decide your fate. I spent most of my youth to this organization and I do not question my commitment. I am hurt I found out what was going on behind the scenes unbeknowst to me and many others. We did it to serve. I do not think what I did in serving will ever go without reward. YOu would be better off to go out and talk to a tree. She aint going to hear anything towards the Way, I was there been there done that.
  12. Ryan, I will say that many of us before we saw the light and got out believed the Way was the greatest thing going for spirituality. Many of us are still sorting junk out and I often wonder what I believe was all wrong or only had half truths.
  13. Y ea tell her to go to www.greasespotcafe.com and let her read the countless stories.
  14. In the words of Simon. when we did the trail of tears to the top observing all of foliage, he said" it was not politically correct to call it sqaw mountain" as it seems to degrade women. Whatever! Growing up with indians in the hills of Oklahoma, this is our venacular talk. Welcome to the 21st century.
  15. Excie I love you Corps sister! We would always say what was on our minds didn't we? That's Corps.
  16. Simon is that sqaw hill? That doesn't count.
  17. Talk about chestnuts roasting on an open fire. We have had a haze of visualbility(sp) with all of the bush fires ,here, for days. I have never seen the colors of the sun like this before, summer is almost here. My eyes burn daily and you can't even see the mountains . Weird! I'm not in Kansas anymore!
  18. Belle, don't you remember PFAL basics on Menslows (sp) of whiter whites and darker darks. How often we forget the basics, I think that article you read is c ap. I heard someone tell me once that Afro-Americans were not human because they don't blush, out of a quotation in the bible, that they don't have redness in their face when emberrassed. Good Lordy! They do if you are color blind ( no pun intended). I once while in the military observed Jamaican people, even there is extremely darks and lighter whites. I aint starting a controversy here only IMHO.
  19. I remember, they would teach that you should give 15%. And that was not net but gross. I often recalled that Jesus said to give to Caeser which was Caesars' and give to God what is Gods'. I used to think while in the Way there was a verse of scripture that says that the rain falls on the just and the unjust. Logically, if the unjust prosper were is the blessing. I believe we have a God that doesn't set conditions. He is a real graceful God. What verse of scriptures hints that He will not spit in our direction if we don't give. I rest my case. I do give money to the church I attend here in Australia and will as they need to spread the gospel and I specifically give it to education as the law allows . GOOD SUBJECT! Oh how my button was pushed in reading this post.
  20. I grew up with blonde hair it later developed into dirty dish water blonde and now gray is the in thing. Oh by the way do you know why all blonde jokes are written down? So men can read them slow.
  21. Niki, here the weather is heating up towards summer, south of the equater we are in summer or moving that way. No snow here only flys and heat for one day and two days of cool ness. Niki has you snow melted yet? Send some snow our way.
  22. Well I first went out as a summer outreach person, two years of WOW, then out again making three during my interim year in the Corps not counting the three times of lightbearers in residence. I remember graduating and going back to my home state. In a branch leader meeting my branch leader asked me in front of all of fellow leaders to go WOW. I looked at him and said I have been out for three years. How many times have you been out. He had never been out once. I told him you go out and tell me all about. The meeting went to another subject. Was he trying to get me out of the state or just looking for a quota. Who knows these things?
  23. I can't believe he's still around, as I thought he was marked and avoided or who is he that crept in unaware or geez he has sure aged or why don't we know these people. This really blesses my soul for the movement of the verd.
  24. My favorite spice is"Grill Mate". It makes pork chops taste out of this world.
