  1. Thanks Belle for that insight. I enjoy the positive approach of the success we Americans have made there from that video. I have heard it all and mostly how the invasion to Iraq from the US was not proper but they did break their unconditional declaration. After being retired of 20+ years with the AF I have a portion of knowledge of what really happened not mentioned in the media that we only know of and is biased.... there is so much we hear that is always biased as stated. There is more going on that will never been said in this war or occupation as most wants to say.
  2. I got one! When we were in residence Corps. Every time we were sent out into the streets of Emporia Kansas to witness, ( i am sure the Emporimites had enough) me and my fellow Corps twig brother would go together. It was David Bailey of the Agape group. We would go down to some bar and have a few pitchers of beer and go back and tell everyone noone would hear. It was a rebellious streak but hey know one knew. It was our secret.
  3. I recall once, when I went out on lightbearers while I was in the 9th Corps in Oklahoma City. Out of the Corps I was working and I hurt my back. I went to the doctor of medicine for the pain in my back and received inflammatory medicines but no pain pills. I suffered with the strain in my back. That night we had a presentation for PFAL and I told Rappi Pascorosa I would fall asleep if he bullied me into sitting in front of the class. He did make me sit in the front and I did fall asleep. When I got back to Emporia, I was called on the carpet in front of Craig Martindale about my actions. He said to me that they were going to excuse me from the Corps. I explained the story to him and I said You will not kick me out of the Corps. I will not leave on this incident but will stay. I said you would have to carry me out of the grounds over this. That night in a meeting to the Corps Craig spoke that we should never allow anyone to squelch us out of the Corps and he emphasised this to the resident Corps. This is my positve statement on this thread.
  4. Thqnks for this site. It brings back so many memories of our youthful years wanting to make a difference together. " YOU MAKE ME CRY!"
  5. Simon, I am older than you but I still look up to you. Talk among yourselves!
  6. If I can add my 2 cents. My wife is a counselor and she said anger comes from two things. Either you are sad or afraid. I agree it is a self defense we have within us. I have learned to find a resolution and get closer on what set me off but by asking myself am I sad or afraid usually gives me a direction to work with.
  7. Excie thanks I did get it. That was a classic 50's kodak moment.
  8. Simon that song has often wrung in my earballs for the last 20+ years it is accurate enough and close enough for me. Good on you! I miss the Corps I Knew in my youth, NOT. It still effects me yes.
  9. I personally took this class of B.J. Leonard and upon the beginning of the class he mentioned plagureizion. I think well after the POP. He was mentioning quietly how VP stole his research. Among other things. Taking his class was like the Advance Class literally, it was a mirror image, without all of the scripture VP often said you have to have. He was right on no doubt. NO DOUGHT of what BJ was teaching. I began to wonder in those days much of what I went through in the Corps NOw I am beginning see more clearly.
  10. WORDWOLF, your post of the Clue game made me laugh so hard on you systematic statements, I laughed so for the answer we all are seeking I laughed with tears and had to close the sight off just to get my composure. Good on you mate.
  11. Excie I met Simones daughter last year in Simones favorite pub just a few blocks from his house. (It is within stumbling distant). Shes alright.
  12. This is an interesting post as I thought I was just having sleep problems. I usually go to bed before 10:30 and usually awake at around 5 . Been doing this for years but I have found a little or much grog puts me back in my Oklahoma coma. Thank you God.
  13. When Randy Anderson used to sing this in Wierwille hall he would pull his shirt up and show his big belly. I remember this song.
  14. Simon, of course we did. And it is proper to call Udders tits during our show and tell of our abilities. I will never forget when all of the then 9th Corps returning from our interim year, a Gunnison, you said," Well I don't want to sound redundant, but I was blessed on my time on staff". Simon you were well educated but a jerk. I likee! DID NOT MY HEART GO OUT UNTO YOU
  15. I wonder if still takes those Saturday afternoon naps he did when we were at Gunnison?
  16. Yes I was there during the mooning incident. We were all going into town to watch a show at the theater. I actual saw it hanging out the bus window.. I think he was doing it to Mike Fisher but not sure.
  17. I had the privalege of working with the Six Corps down at the Way Texas (WORK WILL MAKE YOU FREE) farm. I am glad I am out but will always remember the fun we had. Precious memories.
  18. Look, after the twenty something years out after the POP reading I decided to reread it to get my bearing of my youth and all of my ninth Corps brethen I served with and it was enlightening as I never listened again after the reading, but got out. I know this is a cut up thread we do here, but I look back. I know you may say U need counseling and I am married to one and am anylized every waking moment I rebel against. WHAT SAY YE Talk among yourselves.
  19. Niki, just messing with you girl.
  20. Living here in Australia, a lot of the Aussies are saying that if he was wearing sunblock he would have been protected from the most harmful rays. I think this is harsh ,but Aussies have a sense of humour, to deal with the loss of Steve Irvin, so sad to hear of his loss of life as he was so diligent with showing the world his knowledge of animals.
  21. Niki, so glad you are getting better but what is about shopping whether well or unwell that females enjoy. I reckon it is in their DNA make up. Girls like to shop till they drop.
  22. What is wrong with church, I ask myself what is wrong with me. After successfully graduating from the Ninth Way corps (if that is success). I say my intentions of seeking God was not in vain I in my integrety know I was just wanting to serve. After stopping from doing anything with the WAY after the reading of POP. I began going to different churches. Every time I sat there listening, I argue and compare what is taught in the pulpit and mostly disagreeing from what I was taught in the Way what is being taught. I still do this. I argue. I recall that when the disciples came up to Jesus all bent that someone would not follow him , all he said was no one can call on me and speak less of me. Now, that has always helped me as everyone has such a different take and upbringing. I reckon I will always deal with this till I die but hey life is good. The one thing I have learned about life is it always changes and you can't change you will struggle or die. I even tried some of those splinter groups of home fellowships off and on of old believers I knew and couldn't get back into it. THAT,S MY STORY AND I'M STICKING TO IT
  23. Niki, good recovery! Stay on top of it and pamper yourself back to health. Only you know what's going on inside.
  24. I concur. Beat it! Go start a thread elsewhere. This is holy ground here, take off your shoes.
