John wished me a Happy Birthday with blessings on Facebook. Then he tried to peddle his most recent books and classes.about the diameter of Jesus Christ. When I responded that I was using Alpha video and other video classes from Anglican, Methodist, Saddleback, and books by Frank Viola, Jon Zens, Milt Rodreigueiz, Theodore Austin-Sparks, Watchman Nee, etc. He said why waste my time with those losers who don't have the accuracy of scripture. Feel sorry for his ego(or is it id?)
He does this with everyone he’s friends with on Facebook. He still believes he’s the greatest show on earth.

Another topic for consideration: do y’all here have any perception of how many, many thousands of grads are thankful as all get-out for having had the PFAL class? AND are you aware of the fact that they have a large disdain for the pure negativity in most posters attitudes here towards their overall experience with PFAL? If you all want to ever have credibility with these many grads, you need to get more balanced and admit to the GREAT good that came out of PFAL.
Was there a poll taken of the “thousands of thankful grads” Mike?
Vee Pee’s agenda was evil from its inception. How do YOU weigh the good against the evil? Too many people’s lives were crushed by becoming involved with pfal.
I for one will not “admit to the GREAT good that came out of PFAL”. But that’s just me.

I do see recurring themes, though, in both your questions and in many other comments and threads here in recent months, and by other posters as well. However they seem to all be muted discussions, lacking depth as do all intellectual inbreedings.
That’s pretty insulting doncha think Mike?

I thought the same thing JayDee. I rationalized it by the title of the lecture being "The History of Dispensationalism in America". Obviously, Bullinger, Welch, and others, helped spread dispensationist doctrine worldwide, including several trips here to the US by Welch himself, which both dictor and Grace Bliss attended. But, the movement in America was already in place here by the time Welch came here, and the majority of Ethelbert's colossal works were published in the late 19th and early 20th Century. The roots come through Darby, but he also preceded Bullinger. So, that's my P.I. in why no mention of Bullinger in this lecture. What thinkest thou?
I think you’re right DWBH. I never was a big fan of dispensationalism because for me it complicated scripture to the point where Jesus Christ’s ministry was “pigeonholed” into a specific timeframe and I shouldn’t think of him outside that. The whole “OT and gospels were for our learning thing” I guess
I may be “oversimplifying” scripture nowadays by just thinking about it in terms of old covenant and new covenant. Nobody in the bible ever said anything more important than what Jesus Christ said/says. Beyond that my eyeballs start rolling around and I scratch my head a lot.

Also interesting to note that Bullinger didn’t get a mention.

Thoroughly enjoyed this video. The last 2-3 minutes said it all for me. Christ is King. Christ is Lord.

I was 2 months out twit when this letter hit the presses. It was imo a slap upside the head of the bots and anyone else on their team. I for one am glad it was accomplished and remain thankful to this day for the authors. It was words “fitly spoken” at that time.

My "current view of the Bible"? No "problen". My personal "Canon" of the New Testament Begins with Matthew and ends at Acts 28. I accept nothing Saul of Tarsus wrote in his personal communications to various "churches" in different cities, or to specific individuals, as being "the God-breathed Word and Will of God". Nor do I care about the other New Testament epistles or The Book of Revelation. I consider the teachings, actions, and mission of Jesus Christ to be the doctrinal and practical center of HIS Church, not the Pauline or any other epistles. Why should these letters be any more "God-breathed" than those referred to as The Apocrypha? You're expecting me to be believe the Canon of the New Testament is also God-breathed?
As far as the Hebrew Old Testament, there are parts I believe are inspired (e.g. Psalms, Proverbs, the "Major" Prophets) and others that I feel exactly the same about as I feel about the Pauline Epistles.
That's my current view in a nutshell T-Bone. Great question. I could go into lengthy explanations for the statements I made above, but I'd rather just respond to questions or comments or snide remarks if they should appear. Thanks for asking for our opinions T-Bone.
1. Do you believe anything Saul/Paul wrote during his travels in Acts were inspired by the Holy Spirit?
2. Do you believe anything Peter or James wrote in Acts were inspired by the Holy Spirit?
The reason I’m asking is because you included Acts in your “personal Canon” but not what any of those guys wrote during the Acts timeframe.
And if I misunderstood your statement forgive me. Just looking for some clarity. I have questions at times about what these men wrote because of how different their “doctrine” appears to differ from the “words in red” that were recorded by the gospel writers of Jesus’ life on earth.
Thanks very much DWBH.

After thinking about one poster’s recent attempt at revising history...or was it creative writing....I dunno - whatever the he11 you want to call his perspective on PFAL ‘77 - - I thought I’d give it a try and will employ a great technique I learned from the “master “ himself by plagiarizing a little bit from the gospel crucifixion account:
It was about the ninth session, and the whole mess was plodding along like it always did - and there was darkness over the whole class like it was in the beginning with audio and Beta tapes.
wierwille said to himself “ i am finished - ain’t no way I can pull this off again” ; then he cried in a loud voice “I thirst!” - and immediately one of his assistants refilled his cup with Drambuie.
looking down from the double-cross he liked to pull on his adoring fans he said “my peeps, behold thy teacher.” Then one of the ordained who stood guard, shook his head and said to himself “this truly is a waste of time.”
LOL‼️ Well done T-Bone.

CFF is located in Tipp City, Ohio. Kevin Guigou (Sara Wierwille Guigou’s husband) is Secretary Treasurer for CFF.

TWI knew about as much about counseling as I know about nuclear physics. You say you have a troubled, rebellious, disobedient child who's been diagnosed with ADHD? There is no such thing as ADHD. BEAT THE HELL OUT OF YOUR DEVIL SPIRIT POSSESSED CHILD AND HE WILL LISTEN-REMEMBER-OBEY!
You've been diagnosed with a serious disorder and you're scared? Well, where's your believing?
It was either your lack of believing or devil spirit influence/possession that screwed you up.
I watched someone who I considered to be the most exceedingly great and mighty woman of God who had ever lived beat the crap out of her little daughter, aged about 3, because she spit out the steamed spinach this woman was feeding her. Then she beat her some more to get her to say "Thank you, Mommy, for providing me this healthful and nutritious meal." That was when I realized this cruel, sadistic, legalistic zeeatch knew nothing about raising children. I wish I'd taken that damned spoon away from her and shoved it down her throat.
Horrible. Absolutely horrible.

It's all on you pal. I'm not trying to persuade anybody about anything. I think I made it clear that I speak the word and it's God that gives the increase. I don't worry about who believes and who doesn't. Truth is most Christians I talk to think I'm a wolf in sheep's clothing. But then most Jews didn't believe Jesus. That last statement should give you some good fodder. I can see it now, "rrobs thinks he's Jesus." LOL
"Truth is most Christians I talk to think I'm a wolf in sheep's clothing".
That statement alone rrobs ought to cause you to take stock in what you're communicating.
Haven't you seen so far that you're in the extreme minority here regarding veepee and his putrid "theology"? He was a liar, and a thief, and a coward, and a serial rapist, and anti-Christ. An uncovicted felon who misappropriated our money.
WHY would anyone want to continue any sort of association with his dead ministry? Why?

Has anyone learned about holy spirit from Stiles or Bullinger? VP was the one who taught it to me.
I care more about the baby than how I got it. If VP had photocopied the books and wrote his name over the author's name, it's still the truth, and I operate all nine all the time. Will it somehow be "invalid" because VP copied it? And let's face it folks, VP went beyond either of these two men of God. They paved the way for VP, built the bridge, and VP paved the way for us.
Geez. Please don't.

What happened to the plagiarism?
Yes Mike. Plagaristic writings.

I see the books as containing the pure mind of Christ. As we build the contents of the books within we grow from having the hope of glory, to the glory itself.
At his first coming he was mostly not recognized. With the contents of these books infused into our activities and minds, recognizing him in the early stages of the Return is guaranteed.
The books do not contain "the pure mind of Christ". And IMO what you've written here is blasphemous. To elevate veepees writings to the level you've done here Mike is reprehensible. Seriously. You oughta be ashamed of yourself.
Sorry. I said I wasn't going to comment anymore on this topic. Just couldn't help myself.

Welcome to GSC Taxidev.
I’m curious how you manage to be “currently involved with both groups”? Aren’t they mutually exclusive these days? The idea that they’re “a new group, still finding their way” is (forgive me) laughable IMHO. These folks have been around for decades and were a big part of VeePee and twi’s hypocrisy, and deception. They were enablers and contributed to destroying countless lives. They’re not trying to undo anything. They still think VeePee was the greatest since Saul of Tarsus.
I’m sorry, but I don’t see that they deserve or warrant any “consideration” except people should be warned about what they’re up to which in my mind is no good.
I’m glad you’re here with the courage to post your views. Please keep it up. Merry Christmas.
