JayDee, haven't you ever noticed that you can be out fellowship and nasty one day, and the next day get it together and see that God has rebounded much faster and that you can do some good for someone?   Have you ever committed the greatest sin? That is, not loved God first?  Degrees of sin are a human burden. God forgives bigtime.  Is that new to you?

You didn't answer any of my questions. DWBH is right. I've heard enough to know now where you stand. Sorry, veepee is not my hero. Strawman, red herring, etc. Yup. DWBH got it right.

  2. So Mike. In spite of all the clear and known evidence of veepees unconvicted crimes against members of the body of Christ, which is his church, you still cling to the notion veepee was God's man for our day and time? Is that about right? You can with a clear conscience overlook all of that sin? Has God overlooked it? You believe in the depth of your heart that pfal and the other stuff he compiled was/is God-breathed? Come on man. Say it ain't so. Please.

Never happened, Dude. Not only did Mr. Wierwille fail to cite his sources, he made a concerted effort to conceal their origin. So, he wasn't simply a plagiarist, he was a plagiarist with a nefarious intent. That's some bad chicken.

Right waysider. And naming names such as Stiles, Bullinger, etc. isn't the same as citing references in books he wrote (plagerized). Mr. Wierwille didn't want us to know what he plagerized. He wanted us to think it was all his original work. What a joke.

Yes JD it was sarcasm.  Just another way leadership controlled via confusion and not taking responsibility like, you know, a real leader would.

    Yes, thanks very much!

By writing it down you make a commitment.  God can bless that.  Yes the Adversary knows, but God has blessed your plan because you are on The Word.  Now, if something comes up and you alter your plan, God has to allow The Adversary access.  That is the risk you take by your lack of believing.

Bolshevik please help me understand this comment. Are you saying when I write something down the adversary knows?

Are you saying God has to allow the adversary access because I changed my mind?

Are you saying that I'm taking a risk because of my lack of believing?

Or is your entire comment tongue in cheek?

Serious inquiry. I'm not taking a shot here. Just looking for some understanding. Thanks.

    Hi everyone,

John Juedes published a number of pamphlets about TWI over the years, some with Douglas V. Morton. In about 2007, I ordered a packet of these booklets, one of which is called "From Vesper Chimes" to "The Way International: The Founder, History, and Activities of The Way Ministry," by Juedes and Morton. They did amazing research and documented it well.

This address may be old, but there it is from the inside cover. Maybe you can still get this booklet if you want to:

    C.A.R.I.S.

    P.O. Box 1659

    Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53201

Here's a link to the pamphlet to read online.

TWICE in those conversations he had to admit and said so out loud, that if I read only Dr’s books, and disciplined my life to what is within them, I would do well.

He wasn't a "Dr." you know that right? Why would anyone want to master the writings of a plagerizer and discipline their life accordingly?

JayDee, please check CFFM references.  Wayne Clapp stepped down from main clergy responsibilities there because John Shroyer promised the ministry to Tonya whether or not she was his daughter or daugther in law.   Kevin G still works there part time but the main responsibility transferred to Tonya because she convinced Wayne of John Shroyer's promise.

    I am not mistaken here.

All I'm saying is that you said Tonia was John's daughter. That's all. She's not his daughter. And yes, several years before John died he told Tonia she would be the next president if she wanted the responsibility.

Wayne is a full time staff minister living in the Florida panhandle.  Kevin Guigou is a full time staff minister living in Vandalia, OH. Tom Dill is also a staff minister but receives no salary.

I don't know if LCM still receives funds, but I do know (thanks to voter registration) that he lives in a crappy apartment.

I saw that apartment too. Was under the impression he was living in a house purchased by twi and had a 65k annual income from them also???

  10. Much of what I've read about JGL's personal background begs the question, why would I want to follow someone then or now that was dishonest about their education, ministry training, and business involvement?

I'm not saying the holy spirit wasn't involved in his life. I honestly don't know. It just makes it more difficult to get even a little bit excited about wanting to know more about men and women who seem to think he was something special somehow.

  11. I think people try to "humanize" what God knows and doesn't know. People can't imagine how He could possibly know our thoughts before we think them. We're finite. He's infinite. We really don't get that concept. We think we know what scripture says about who and what He is, but we really don't. We will someday! And I'm ok with that.

Some of His character is revealed to us. Enough to know that He loves us and that we bring Him pleasure. That in and of itself blows my mind!

What I think cg, js, jal, and dg have stated about God's omniscience, is egotistical as hell. Because *they* can't know someone's thoughts or choices ahead of time how could God posdibly know? They've brought God down to their level. I have a problem with that.

  12. Recenty Jerry Wierwi!!e has joined Sch0$nheit's ranks. He does have some very good academic credentials. I think this was a move on Sch0$nheit's  part to add some "credibility" to STF if that's possible

Jerry has a blog and Facebook page if anyone's interested in checking him out.

Is there anyone you recommend instead of wierwille then? Just reading some of the stuff he did is just unbelievable. I feel effected by the cult even though i was barely involved. Reading all his material and soaking it in as my "friend" told me to do has me really messed in the head right now. Is the consensus that stfs material is just as bad? i feel sort of brainwashed now. I really do feel like some good came out of his material but i didn't know all this stuff about him and my "friend" who disappeared all of a sudden, either tricked me or is brainwashed himself. I really do believe he believes in what weirwille taught. I just don't know what to believe anymore. On one hand you have some teachings that seem to stick and work on another the man who taught these things was a terrible person so how does one figure out what is real anymore. It's like my entire world is crashed and i never step foot in the ways building and this all started from meeting one person on an internet forum.Sigh:/

Sorry your "friend" has caused you so much angst. My suggestion is to read your bible. Several versions. Take your time, there's no hurry. Meditate on what you're reading. Pray. Talk things over with the Lord. He's good. He won't let you down.
