  1. 27??!! Honey, you are young!! I am 60, so to me, anyone under 50 is young. I think you should read whatever books you want to read
  2. Honey, I know you have a lot of questions about TWI. For what it's worth, write down your questions on a piece of paper. Most of them will probably be answered somewhere in the GSC. Just be patient, a lot of your questions will be answered in time. I have been out since 1988, and I am still learning about the Evilness of VPW, and TWI.
  3. I never met him personally, but I heard him teach a number of times. Boring!! I never understood why people thought he was such a great man of God; finally one day I realized that people believed what they wanted to believe about him. Quite frankly, I remember the day he died. Gee, that isn't that sad! I wonder what I am getting to have for dinner; I have to go now.
  4. I also take comfort in knowing that we will all be judged some day for our deeds, or misdeeds here on earth.
  5. Wow! LCM does quite well for himself Sky. I think he should spend the rest of his life in prison for all the harm he did. I often wonder if he regrets the harm that he caused to so many innocent people.
  6. OS, I understand what you said, but I never understood that aspect of TWI mentality. I got a college education to make my life better; in other words, I wanted a better job, with more money. My understanding of TWI was that most of its employees were poorly-paid. A few of course did very well financially, but most didn't.
  7. Krys, good point! I bet they worked their azzes off as leaders of God's people.
  8. The big phony! For years I thought he had an advanced degree; otherwise why would he be called "Dr.Wierwille?" What a Con Man; I hope he rots in hell.
  9. Ham, you have hit on something about TWI that I never understood. Why did TWI have such disdain for the pursuit of higher education? Was it because if people developed critical thinking skills, they would see through the façade of TWI?
  10. OS, the same for me. If others want to attend Churches, Bible Fellowships, and things of that nature, fine. But I am not interested at the moment in those things.
  11. JJ, I love reading your posts! You sound like a no bullsheet woman to me! I am so sorry that your family dragged you into the muck of TWI; it was bad enough that I got involved in it. My family thought it was a lot of sheet, but they figured someday I would come to my senses, and I did. It took me 10 years, but I finally left TWI. I wish I had left sooner. The mistakes we make in our youth.
  12. DWBH, great post!!! You are an excellent writer!
  13. Yeah to BC, and his wife!!! That is great to hear!!! Good for both of you!
  14. Twinky, no wonder why TWI kicked you out!! You in essence said that people should live by God's standards. For sure, many of the people in Way Word weren't abiding by those particular standards. In fact, many in the inner circle were living in direct contrast to those standards. I think I would have tried to keep you in the Corps; you never know when you will need an attorney. But, obviously the people in Way World don't think the way I do. If they had, you might have stayed in. Those fools!!
  15. BC, whew! I took the class back in 1978, years before you were born. I thought collaterals were boring, and poorly-written. I hated reading them; I am sure some people really enjoyed them. No wonder why the teachings are so boring, or so I have heard.
  16. BC, you seem like an intelligent young man to me. But, I do want to tell you something; not all of us are bitter about TWI. Some people may be, but I'm not. I was in for 10 years, met some great people, and had a lot of fun. However I too have my war stories about TWI. For years I was bitter about my military experience, but I am working on that. When you and your wife leave TWI, it might be beneficial if you seek professional help. Just a suggestion.
  17. Raf, I love your posts! They make me laugh!!
  18. Now you tell me this!!!??? Just kidding. Now, I wish I had thought of starting a schism before I left in 1988.
  19. I would take my spouse, and leave. I left back in 1988, and never went back. Life is good!!
  20. T-Bone, seriously I never knew how twisted he was until I came here. I think if most of us had known the real VPW, we would have taken our money and left long before we did. If I had a dog as sick as VPW, I would shoot him; and I love dogs!! So much of TWI's sickness was covered up,or glossed over. I really didn't know the truth about TWI, until I came here.
  21. Way, good for you!! Personally, I don't give a sheet if people are gay or not; it's not my business to judge anyone. I think what two consently adults do behind closed doors is their business.
  22. DWBH, another great post!! I pray that TWI dies off ASAP. So many people were so badly abused by them. I know many people have posted negative feedback about their time in Way World. So many people worked for them for decades, and then left with nothing. No savings, no pension, no retirement plans, Nada!! As bad as the Navy was, at least I receive Disability money from the VA every month for what I had to deal with. It isn't much, but it's enough to live on. TWI had/has a great deal of money, yet they underpay most of their employees. Except of course for the favored few, who live quite handsomely.
