I understand how you could come to that conclusion and there is a forum in doctrinal. My main comment is, why should we believe or trust anything VPW said? Please don't allow his words to continue to have any say over your current life. I am thankful for all of us who have found freedom outside of TWI.

Just interested if anyone is attending ROA25. Wonder what the vibe will be. Seemed like lots of talk about scooters for mobility on social media world. Oh and I guess they are doing local Way Ambassadors to boost numbers?

Yeah remember those too. Even got to listen to him berate a group of people that I knew was me because of being told I was going to be dropped but had to wait for it to be finalized while I pretended nothing was wrong. So thankful that getting dropped is what led to FREEDOM and a real relationship with God.

ROA 2025 Will be the first real rebooted Rock. They rebooted it for young adults first and have had two.

They did a Young Adult Rock maybe two years ago? And they are having a Word in Culture Conference soon too. Also, they tried to spin Jesus Revolution movie by saying Doctor was a vital part of it.

Just found the series this week. Been interesting so far and slightly triggering.

When I first left twi, I had the "don't say Jesus, only Christ Jesus," pounded into my brain for so long that I had a hard time just saying Jesus. Obviously we had mostly ignored the Gospels where primarily his "humiliated" name was used.

Had a professor mention the quote, "it's about relationship, not religion." He stated that the quote normally refers to a dislike of organized religion. He asked would anyone want disorganized religion?"

I was hanging out with a bunch of teenagers! Hot dogs, Smores, karaoke, fire pit. Never did anything with teens during twi but I volunteer with our youth group now. It makes me feel plenty old. Heehee
