  1. Interesting Oak...I guess I'll have to think about that one.... can I say all of the above?
  2. --> Congrats to both of you!! :D-->
  3. 3 cents, Thanks for the laugh! I was frustrated and not thinking. I guess I was trying to ask if this problem was caused by waybrain only. Some rationalize everything with, "God will take care of it" Is what I feel like doing because I have to push so hard to get anything taken care of and i honestly don't seem to have the energy/will to do it in every situation.
  4. oak Last I heard from family member...those exceptions are no longer valid cept alimony/child support-butI think that has to be "current"
  5. Is this a symptom of "waybrain" or lack of smarts/common sense? I even try the "don't tempt God logic and it doesnt work"
  6. woo hoo!! I hope Illini goes all the way!!!
  7. Yay for egg hunts!! Hoppy Easter! Hey I about freaked in Wal-Mart the other day--I was roaming around and bumped into Resurrection Eggs! (Plastic eggs with diff items and a story about each one to help teach about Jesus and Easter.) Go figure
  8. He@@ no. I was so agitated and p/o'd about that poor little girl. Her family tucked her into bed after church and then this monster walks into her home and does that to her.. Yes it is incredible the "someone" heck he even confessed to it! and they still dont say it was him. What about the guy in Atlanta--people saw him kill that judge, had it on security camera etc and he is just the "suspected" killer
  9. Happy birthday!! Soory didnt tell you that last night in chat! Hope you had a great one
  10. Hmmm It says I'm 61% Dixie,
  11. help me......my eyes are getting glazed over......boredom setting in........ -->
  12. Yep. Marriage counselling that involved reading the blue book.....throw in some Genesis .... That's all you need in twit world to "fix" things Oh and G-d forbid you talk to leadership about husband--puts the wife in immediate trouble
  13. Looking back it seemed like parents were expected to have robotic children--ones who were to obey first time every time. I believe children should listen to their parents, but do you think twi went too far? I saw some parents expect their children to jump and not even ask how high because that would mean they didn't obey immediately. Maybe my frustration from before is because parents didn't set their expectations based on the age of child. I have sat and watched a father yell at a child inches from the child's face in the same way martinfart would yell at the corpse. Then I feel guilty for not doing anything about it at the time.
  14. I am sorry if I offended anyone. I made the "just a piece of paper" comment out of frustration.
  15. If you get married in a church and the couple promises before God and everyone else that they will honor, cherish, etc. If one or both parties do not do what they promised to do, does that negate their vows? How important is that piece of paper that says they are married if the marriage relationship is a sham? What say all?
  16. I think it was 90's when you had to stop offering to minister to people--you could only offer to pray for them since you couldn't know ahead of time if you were going to get heavy revy
  17. I've never really bothered to buy any. But I do remember the rants about how evil/tainted any lottery money would be. I believe lcm ranted about how most people who win big have their lives destroyed cuz of debil spirits attached to the money. Never heard any chapter and verse as to why that would be the case. go figure
  18. I'll bet cancelling those twit meetings helped you get out of debt--able to work more hours and no abs!!! Congrats digger
  19. yep-it was a very fun nite! It was a senior only prom--and I went with a football player from a neighboring school. He was very sweet-we worked together, hung out all the time, but were just friends. Went to the wild after party too.
  20. "a suggestion(by leadership)should be paramount to a command"
  21. Sky, Good points! I myself was thinking we should define true research of the Bible with twi's so called research. Previous posts on thread for ministry year theme said they build biblical understanding by "reading the Word and studying ministry publications." Guess they can't go beyond that since there is no research team.
  22. {{see me}} I admire you and your daughter. Are you referring to leadership in PA where the case was tried? Hang in there you seem like a wonderful person
  23. I don't remember hearing this guy ever got ordained. I think he was even dropped from corpse way back when. I don't know what year. Still it sure gives me the creeps-he either did this as corpse or as twig coord. Yuck.
  24. Haven't seen it yet but want to. Any recommendation on what age of kiddos would be good to see it?
