Some of you might get mad at me here ........... but I do agree with coolchef as far as that woman is not fit to roam our world. Put her in some assylum they let her out .......... if she is capable of killing her own child, her own flesh and blood, she is capable of killing anyone in my opinion. I prefer I not live anywhere near her. I own and live on 5 acres, we just moved into our cabin this summer and my neighbor who has 23 acres we recently found out is a fellon, a convicted criminal who stabbed another man and is so called rehabilitated ........ he is an a$$ehole, another neighbor witnessed him shooting my dog with a bb gun but will not come forward and testify because he is scared to. I didn't witness it so I can't make a complaint against him directly. This is a man who stabbed another man many years ago, served his time and is so called rehabilitated. He up until two months ago beat his handicapped brother who paid his fellon brothers way by means of his social security check for years .... until his handicapped brother wised up and moved out. Now the man is striking out at my family and the family who owns the land on the other side of him. Most criminals don't change even when they say they are rehabilitated they are most likely not. My husband worked with teens with issues for 14 years ......... kids who were believed to be rehabilitated. We read about them in the papers all the time, being murdered or murdering someone or injuring other humans over petty stuff. I really believe that once someones pysche is screwed up enough to murder there is virtually no chance that this civilized world can give them that will truly help them. There help is God and if they truly seek God is between them and God. I would seek to rid the world of murderers of children in a heartbeat I would vote yes on it. Just my opinion, Digi

I had this same exerience with my second child and only daughter, she had cholic for the first four months of her life and I had another child at home who was only 2 1/2 years of age, my eldest son. I was on my own at this time, because my first huband was a bum and we were going through a divorce. It was very hard to see my daughter suffer with cholic, several times by docs orders I put a pad out on the living room floor and her blankies on top, it was summer time so she would stay warm. Laid her down and I stepped outside on the porch where I could see her through the window and let her have her cry for about 15 minutes to wear her down, and then would put her in her stroller and walk her until she fell asleep, sometimes this would take hours of walking and stopping along the way to feed and change her diaper but it did help. Mind you I had a double stroller because I had her 2 1/2 yr brother with us. This went on for 4 months. Never once did I think of killing my baby or putting her in a dryer or any such thing. I suffered and hurt for her right along with her. If she didn't sleep I didn't sleep, If she was up crying, I eventually would cry. It really sent me through the ringer as well. But if we elect to have children we have the responsibility of taking care of them no matter what the circumstances are and when we find ourselves over our heads, we seek help or advice that will make an impact for the better. I tried every type of milk there was on the market to help her, seeing as my own milk never came in. Finally I called my grandmother and she told me to use powdered milk and to dilute it a bit with distilled water and I tried it and it worked. The doctors gave me some vitamin drops to add in it and the cholic stopped... She is Today 5' 10' tall with a 23" waistline .......... makes me sick LOL she is beautiful. I am glad that is suffered with my daughter instead of hurting her. I can understand the frustration level, but I can not understand harming a defensless infant or child. This mom who put her child in the dryer is dreadful .......... now one child dead and another left without a home .......... truly sad. Digi

Shell thanks for the information. From time to time you see such information but each time it seems we learn something new and that as parents we need to be reminded. My last child at home of 12, he also likes to play a couple of games at on the internet, but I am administrator of the computer and he can only go to sites with me giving the password up and approving his account for them. As far as chatting goes his best friend lives in the city and his parents along with us have set up an instant message between the families email accounts on microsoft messenger so the boys can chat, it cuts down our long distance bill and the boys don't have to worry about predators. Although my son will ignore my friends who might pop un once in awhile while he is chatting instead of saying mom isn't online LOL. Digi

Thanks for the references guys. I have seen some of these before, but none of them are completely translated or completely compiled, there are a great many gaps in translation, even the ones that show the so called words of Jesus himself have translation gaps. A complete compilation ......... doesn't mean great spaces of blanks where the translations have not or can not be completed. The son of [ ....... oops ....] said [ ....oops can't translate these words...] is important. NOT what I call complete There are quite a few references to theologians compilations and there theories on the subjects but that is not the Word. I really try not to read there theories of what these so callled "lost translations" are by other theologians. I really do believe that to add or take away from is a dangerous game. Gods word is crucial to us because it is our link to him ....... to know his word is to know him. I am not saying yet again that these compilations aren't true, maybe God did preserve them like the rest of the word as we know it, then again maybe it was preserved by other means to throw us off. I am seeing all types of discussions here on scrolls, writings, tablets etc..... Who here has actually seen these written works in full? Are they posted in full somewhere ? or are theologians and scientists keeping them under lock and key? Have they even been completely translated? I really am just curious ......... I know the bible has been in possession for hundreds of years to the public and thus we use it and the materials to research it. I am by no means condemning these materials .......... but neither do I support them. How do I get my copy to start research if thats what I desired? Digi

I really despise a parent who would tell a child they should have aborted them. Adoption is always an avenue and there are plenty of couples waiting on long lists to adopt. The doctors in this case sound like morons just as well as the mother. But, the mother made the decision to keep the baby so she should shut up an love her and take care of her. If she wanted the child to truly have a better life she would have given her up for adoption and could have even assisted in finding her daughter a great home. Digi

Taught me not to believe everthing from any ole religous leader, taught me the basic principles in studying, althought I learned this more from One person in TWI than the whole ministry. Actually teaching me those things was the cause I questioned TWI and walked away. Kind of IRONIC Digi

Galen wonderful point you brought up. Of course my son is active duty .. and his dad , my hubby has taught him about the reserves and the gaurd. My husband spent a couple of tours in army and then went into the gaurd to finsih off his time and absolutely didn't like being in the gaurd. The rules change for the gaurd and reserves ............ Active duty is the way to go, especially for my sons career. Alot of guys going into his field who don't stay in, come out and can't seem to make it in the civilian world. I truly hope my son stays as active duty and long enough for retirement and makes a career of it. This is his goal but he is 20 years old and young still. Jim ........ my husband felt the same way as you .......... he felt the gaurd was playing at being a soldier. Its hard to be fulltime active military and then go to the guard or reserves. Like I say the experpience for my husband went from completely active army to the army national guard.... he didn't like the weekend warrior businees. Digi
