HCW, I appreciate what you've said here. Hopefully, by doing so, the healing process will kick in again (since you said you'd done a lot of intraspection previously). I didn't perceive Satori as attacking you, but merely stating that he saw some inconsistencies in your account about whether or not twi should shoulder any or all of the responsibility for the accident. Also, Catcup, if you imagine that people are sending him private emails saying bad things about you, would you not agree that that sounds, in itself, a bit paranoid? This is not a criticism, just an observation. I do not know or care to know who you are, either, and I haven't kept up with you at all. But, that doesn't mean I don't value you as a poster. I do. You have some really good things to say. So, stone away, but please realize HCW got a little huffy at Satori, first, and I saw him as trying to defend himself. No, I don't know or care to know, particularly, who Satori is either. Just that he also has some really good posts sometimes and he has his way of expressing himself that is different from some others. All I'm saying, is that all of us get a bit sensitive sometimes, but let's, hopefully, all remain friends. Disclaimer: I haven't read every word by every poster, so if I've missed some slights, I've chosen to just let them go.

Well, ok, I can see both sides. BUTT!, since the girls took the cookies to at least 6 OTHER neighbor's houses, that, to me, indicates that this woman was NOT TARGETED. I would like to see teens in our country do more nice things for their communities and neighbors and this seemed like such a sweet thought (no, they shouldn't have done it at 10:30 at night--very poor judgment).

He was a fun guy. Anyone kept up with him? He took the class with Glenn Edmondson.

Glad to HEAR that! LOL! Wish I'd been there for that one. I was always placed with toe-the-party-line 11th Corps types after the first block. Guess they wanted to mellow me out (and keep an eye on me)? It always FELT LIKE one wrong move and I woulda been outta there.

You know what Al? You have no idea how many times anyone else spoke up in residence. I was in trouble PLENTY of times because I said something wasn't right. If you're going to judge others as hypocrits, then it's only right to throw yourself into the mix, because if you, or any of us, had spoken up as many times as we SHOULD have, we wouldn't have graduated AND WE ALL KNEW THAT.

HCW, Was everyone medically examined? It sounded like you and some others weren't. Just wondered why everyone wouldn't have been examined after a serious accident like that. Some injuries don't show up until much later and it sounds like you did what you were told and went back to the lodge.

(((((HCW))))) Gosh, I know how you feel. When I first found this site, well waydale and then gs, I cried a lot. Believe it or not, it really helps. Most of my anger has gone too along with the grief. I wondered also if you all were medically examined who were in the accident?

I think if you will read more closely, Oldies, that what people are saying is that it was swept under the rug and not dealt with honestly and that's what we object to.
