  1. When I got there, my first year, Clyde what's his name said he'd gotten "revelation" that our group hadn't had "team work, but were self-centered on our way out there," so he kept three of us girls back, loaded us with backpacks so heavy we could barely walk, and then sent us to the camp. I've had back problems ever since.
  2. Does anyone know how to get in touch with him? There has never been a better person than him, in my opinion, on the face of the earth. He was always an angel in residence--always there with just the words of cheer to make you feel better and to lift your spirits. What a nice guy! I don't think we ever saw each other after graduation. Did he stay in?
  3. Awaugh, Z, maybe you're better off :D--> (can't believe I said that!)
  4. JUst to clarify, I agree with JL that life is more powerful than death. To take away the places where this happened, or to plant a garden, if one will grow there, I can't agree with. Let people see, like Krys and others said, where it happened and that animals won't even go there yet to this day. That speaks louder than words or photographs.
  5. oh gawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwd, Mike. -->
  6. Are you sure anything would ever GROW there?
  7. John, speaking as someone who used to GO to the splinter groups, they do it because THEY DON'T KNOW cg or anything about him, the real him. They only know what the splinter "mogs" tell them about him. You see, the mogs need his class and he, cg, needs 1/10th of their abs, so there you have it. It's a mutually exclusive using-each-other club.
  8. Yeah, one author said he didn't even see any cockroaches there while visiting. So sad to think about or even imagine what they went through :-(
  9. it was a little too heavy for meeeee, i mean me.
  10. Welcome CoolChef!!!!!!!!!!!We need more good cooks around here! Hey, are you from Philadelphia (sorry, had to ask)? :)--> Hope you enjoy it here and make yourself at home :-)
  11. I like it! Good for you!
  12. Oh, gosh, Steve! Is she still alive? How sad :-(
  13. Most historians say that Harry's great-uncle, or is that great-great, had to abdicate the throne REALLY because he had been a Nazi sympathizer during the WW and no one trusted him or liked him. Once he declared he would marry Wallace Simpson, that was JUST what they needed to depose him. So, that makes this offense even more sensitive to Harry's family because they have made every effort to distance themselves from the Nazi symbol ever since. I could see how his father would be so angry.
  14. Chas, hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahha!!!!!!!! :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> My point exactly. He may act like a da, but he's not, really.
  15. Well, let's hope they don't give him 30 lashes, but, goodness! As ChattyKathy said, hopefully they'll give him a serious talking to. Just an observation, but I wonder why the men seem to cut him more slack? Maybe his real "sin" was he didn't think.
  16. Yeah, so let them. No payey, no collectey.
  17. Well, hopefully he'll take some lessons away from this one.
  18. ex70s, Here's another yabutt for you to think about... How does Harry's costume fit the theme? He's making a statement here for some reason.
  19. I have to admit when I first read the article about Prince Harry wearing a Nazi patch to a costume party, I felt a little outraged and perplexed. Maybe this was because I recently watched Speilberg's documentary about the death camps and the images were still so fresh in my mind. Sure, the kid is 20 yrs. old, but surely with all of their money he has had an even BETTER education than the average bear and has to know all about what the Nazis did. For him to do this shows insensitivity at the least, imho. I'm thinking I wouldn't want to be Harry right now. Forget about what every Jewish leader in the world has to say, he's going to have to face his grandfather who is known to not suffer fools easily. Am I over reacting? Should it just be viewed as a childish prank? I think he should be seriously disciplined over this one.
