  1. WG!!! Thanks for letting us know. HAPPY BIRTHDAY. You seem very young to me! Hope you have a day doing many of your favorite things with people you care about :-)
  2. Is it personal or could you share with the class?
  3. I agree with BOWtwi. If it's God's will, she can still wake up. Others have. Lots of people have even been raised from the dead in recent years.
  4. Bowtwi, Hey, thanks for the ***eyewitness account *** of Terri's care and information about her husband. I had never speculated about his conduct when he was with her because I didn't think about anyone here or in my world knowing her/him. You clearly do since you cared for her and witnessed his conduct with Terri. It doesn't sound loving. You know, even Jesus was given water to drink when he was dying by the Roman beasts. It is appaling that we in America cannot do as little for Terri.
  5. So then, Rottiegirl, did you see the article by Patricia Heaton? She claims Terri's husband got a $800,000 settlement for her care. Is that not true?
  6. mstar, I tend to agree with you on some points, but the truth is, the man has two wives, and two lives and and and they are starving the woman to death. If she is conscious, she knows what's going on. What a nightmare! WG, I hear you. Doesn't seem right that the same judge gets to keep hearing it over and over, does it? Where's the perspective?
  7. Scenario: If the other woman up and left him, could she suit him for palimony? If yes, would it have to be before or after poor Terri dies or does it matter?
  8. Yeah, it's pretty pathetic to starve someone to death, like that. We don't even treat animals that cruelly. Next question: At this moment, doesn't Terri's husband have a legal wife and a commonlaw wife? Does anyone know how long one has to live with someone in FL before they are considered a commonlaw spouse? (I know, it's technically probably not possible, but let's just hash it about a bit, why not?)
  9. Well, their marriage seems a bit crowded, you know? (Sorry, couldn't resist that one from Diana)
  10. I haven't followed this too closely until now, but isn't her husband living with another woman and they have 2 children together? Something about this doesn't seem right that he is still her legal guardian --> Am I the only one who thinks this is a bit wierd?
  11. I agree, ChasUFarley. OM, you seem to demand that everyone think the same way as you. Is that realistic? If they don't they are deserving of your self-righteous attitude, I suppose. Chas said it very nicely. Consideration (and compassion also, I might add) many times is simply silent. Rascal has the right to her thoughts and feelings and she has the right to post them here as long as she follows the forum rules, which she has. Why don't you leave here alone?
  12. This really is related, in a funny kind of a way, but does anyone know if BG Leonard is a trinitarian? I just wondered because the Vineyard is and I'm just trying to piece together how or when vp got off on that subject so heavily.
  13. Gosh, I'll bet lots of us would LOVE to read that book, TheEvan! Do you know if it is still in print?
  14. Rascal, I think your short story should be archived along with Shellon's link. What a great description of how the lobster boiled to death or how twi "got in."
  15. Belle, do you mean the correct way isn't pee-con? Just wondered -->
  16. Belle, that's what ah lyek about chew--ewe got a true hearta compassion! Had me a Sundrop cola last summer, too. Ever had onea those? And a Grape Nehi, too. Whee doggie, they wuz gud!!!! :D--> (Ex10 knowz wat I'm talkn' about).
  17. Barely Yankee, Raf? :D--> The state you live in is barely Dixie (anymore). LOL!
  18. And the real answer is by TheHighWay!!!!: Thx, TheHighWay.
  19. The Royals must be kinda like some politicians--check to see what the polls say and then make an announcement about what they've decided to do, or call someone, or whatever! LOL! Sounds like they need to get some new "hep" if they don't even know simple things like what the king's wife's title will be (oh, but they thought they'd just make up a NEW ONE--come on--a bit spoiled there, possibly???))
  20. 84% Dixie, but I just answered "potato bug" for the last one because it was the only one I'd ever heard of. I've never used the term, actually. :)-->
  21. Aw, Socks, that is so beautiful! I'm still thinking about what that means--possibly different things to each of us.
  22. Edited by WB because of double posting. Yikes!
  23. Isn't that a telling sign of a cult--that the submission part is blown way out of perspective?
