(As a forklift operator!!-- ) We had a big run on her records, as well as those of Jim Croce. You recognize it the moment it hits your ears. Otis Redding was like that. So was Karen Carpenter and Candy Givens from Zephyr. Lydia Pence from Cold Blood STILL has one of those voices that grabs you immediately. Mama Cass died from a heart attack that was caused by her weight problem. So young, so gifted, such a shame. Last year for Father's Day the Sprout gave him a CD of that artist's most famous recordings, as our 33 1/3 records were victims of a move.
